She had kept two pairs but did not feel these two worked. Having just moved back to SC, and just newly involved with shopping for/with Mother, I had no receipt. I explained my situation, that my brother's wives shopped here regularly and that we had driven from Charleston. They were very helpful and understanding, crediting Mother's card, and sending us on our way with a smile. Being in the mail-order and customer service business I understand the need for rules, for respect to other customers and to the store, but I also know how important it is to bend those rules, in exceptional circumstances. We don't know how many of these "boutiques" there are (this is the only one of which we know); but we appreciate Goodwill providing this alternative.
