I did not receive a monthly bill from Verizon and so I called them to find out the amount of the bill. Their customer service number and email is totally automated and you have to enter your phone number which their auto bot does recognize, but then you have to put in your zip code if you forget your password. My ordeal started then, because for some reason, Verizon couldn't recognize my zip code. Even though they regularly send me a bill every month. I tried every which way to contact customer service to help them understand that they have a problem recognizing my zip. After multiple tries chatting and calling and emailing, I finally got a recording telling me that if I pay them $10.00, then someone would call me!! Do not expect that you will receive the service that you deserve from Verizon. Shame on them! read more

Very busy store. Did not have to wait long on Saturday. Expect to spend a couple of hours if you are looking to buy a phone or service. We were there to transfer 4 devices from carrier to Verizon. Samantha was a big help and even helped us after we left the store to make sure our devices were activated. Also took the time to mail a SIM card by FedEx(paid for by the store) to our daughter in another state. I did have to return to the store 2 days later with an issue with my phone. Samantha and maybe a manager helped me out then too. I was surprised at the amount of help they have in the store. Again be prepared to be here awhile. read more

When visiting the store I felt as though no one wanted to answer any questions or give me details on the exact phones they are supposed to be knowledgeable about [unless I was absolutely certain I would be purchasing said phone that day]. Needless to say, I was very disappointed by this treatment and left the store. After two more visits I finally selected a phone on my own, with no help from the sales reps! The phone I purchased for my son was smashed, which we only realized after he came to visit and opened the box.. unfortunately, this was just after the 14 day period! Just be aware that some mishandling of merchandise is occurring at this store and you may receive a broken phone, like we did. No one should have to have a new phone fixed or replaced, but surely not one as costly as this one was! A Galaxy S10 Plus. We will make one last attempt at getting the situation rectified, but I am extremely doubtful that anyone will own up to their mistake or anything will be done to benefit us! Please avoid this store! I ordered an in-store pick up for my new iPhone 8. After three days, I never received an email. This store NEVER answers their phone. So I ended up calling Verizon national CS -# and the rep said that my phone should be ready at that store and to go up there and ask what's going on. So I go to the store and they try to tell me that I am not eligible for an upgrade & that I owe $350 on my current phone! In order to get the upgrade, I would have to pay or use my husband's upgrade! My last upgrade was 4 years ago in 2014 and my iphone 6 was paid off in 2016! After going back and forth with the salesperson, a manager was able to give me my phone. I never received an apology. Seriously crappy customer service. If I had any other options in the area, I would seek them out. Unfortunately, the other cell phone providers available do not receive good reception for where I live. Went in today with a simple request- to replace my phone with the most similar product currently available. Didn't need anything fancier than the phone I was currently using, didn't want any new products or services. Of course, they tried to sell me on Hum ... twice... Finally took no for an answer. Fast forward to my main problem.... Sean couldn't get my pictures, etc to transfer from my old phone to my new phone in time for me to get back to work but he told me he'd keep working on it and I could pick it up later. Three hours later, I return to pick it up and it's still not done. I'm then told that it's MY FAULT because I didn't back it up beforehand and that the needs of the business required him to not devote full attention to my phone. The woman working at the front of the store had already asked me for my password to my old phone shortly after I arrived for the second time, which indicated that it had timed out from lack of attention and that is why the process had not been completed. It had locked Sean out. As it had done so at least 5 times with me still standing there during my 1-hour lunch break. You'd think he might have made some effort to remember the password or write it down so that he could continue the process while I was not there. But no, he didn't care enough to take that step. Once he got locked out, no attempt was made to contact my husband- the other name on the account. Probably because he didn't care. Or it was his first day on the job. So what happened when I went back to pick up the phone? I got a lot of attitude, no apology for my inconvenience AND I had to buy my old phone back so that I could take it home and transfer my data myself. REAL CLASSY. That's some first rate customer service. Sean is going to go far in this business, I can tell. So am I going to be back to buy Hum or anything else from this location unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary??? NOPE. And I know these places are all now independently owned, so I'll go to a different location the next time I need an upgrade. If you have a choice.... save yourself some agony and time and go elsewhere. If you ABSOLUTELY have to go to this location, AVOID SEAN like the plague. Went to buy a phone today - last one of it's kind in the Charlotte, NC area. Didn't want to wait until tomorrow to get it for fear it would be sold (Verizon will not hold phones for customers). Was told I could buy it today and have it activated later (my daughter is coming home from school tonight so she can activate it once she gets here). After saying numerous times that it was NOT to be activated at the time of purchase, the associate ACTIVATED IT which turned OFF my daughter's current phone. The associate was able to reactivate my daughter's current phone BUT to get her phone to work, she needs to turn it completely off and back on again. However, since the new phone was a surprise for her, she was not aware of any of this information. So, now I sit, not able to get in touch with my daughter who is driving home by herself, in the dark, on a rural highway, with a non-working phone!!! If something bad happens, Verizon will be hearing from me and a legal entity that's for sure!!! TO VERIZON CORPORATE - you need to allow your associates to hold phones for customers for at least one day - your associates are not skilled enough to sell phones and remember to not activate them when requested. read more
