Extremely slow to help even though there were 3 CSR sitting on their laptops or phones. Long process just to get a phone.

As a big advocate for always getting and remembering names of employees that help/hinder me, I am disappointed I don't remember the name of the absolute donut that tried to "help" me. Phone is wigging out, it's fricken Christmas Eve. I walk in and say I need to upgrade my phone and am cut off. "We do not stock phones here, we only order them in." I asked if he knew any locations locally that DO stock phones. "I can't check other stores inventories." Similar, but not what I asked you. He offered to give me the CS phone number but I couldn't get into the account. I said I wasn't sure what to do. The donut said "That's what you get for waiting last minute." Homie, are you trying to catch some hands? I didn't pick when my phone would take a complete shit on me and not work anymore. I said I guess I'll go home and figure it out. "There ya go" was his response. The store was dead, by the way, it wasn't like they were slammed and he needed to dismiss me to try and help someone else. He was an absolute dick for no reason and, having been in a bit of a light panic on getting another before Christmas, I wasn't in the right frame of mind to respond to him how he deserved to be responded to. read more

Had me on hold for 30 min. Was calling in advance to see if my pick up order was ready. When I had placed my order the guy on the phone said " all right you're all set ready for pick up after You get off (around six)" just for them to not answer and tell me it wasn't ready (in person) and that I'll be receiving an email and would have to bring my ID.... My problem is why wasn't I informed about that prior to purchasing my item? When I asked if they could find me a closer location to my house he said no this is the closest. So now when my item is ready I would have to drive an additional 30 minutes to get there. Overall a nice store. Just needs a little work on picking up the phone :( read more

I had been trying to file a claim under Verizon Protection Plan with their Asurion for about 3 days. It kept going to the final page, then never connecting. I went to Verizon- Mesquite to resolve it. I walked in and the 6 most listless and disinterested people on the planet. One female reluctantly got up and walked me to a table at the back. She told me to pull up my account on my app. I did. When pulling up "filing a claim" didn't work, she shrugged her shoulders and said Asurion is a different company. I said I pay for a Protection Plan through Verizon. I am unable to file a claim with Asurion. Verizon either needs to give me my money back or assist me in my claim. If this is a scam Verizon should let me know. She shrugged her shoulders and said Asurion is a third party provider independent of Verizon. I can give you Asurion's number. If you call Asurion, it just directs you to their website and to a claims process where claims can't be completed. Verizon's Protection is a scam and VERIZON-MESQUITE IS WHERE CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES TO DIE! Don't give this company your business! read more

Always have the best experience when helped by RafaEl . His customer service skills are superb, makes the the whole experience just fly by. We tell each other stories like his experiences with opossums, his vacation trip to Cantimplora & where to find the best health food such as potatoes. Good Verizon store here. They listened to my phone issues and suggested a new battery, which they did not have but sent me to a Batteries Plus store nearby...instead of teying to sell me a new phone, etc. Thanks folks. Saved me $200 and let me keep my much liked present Blackberry. read more

Went to this location three months ago. I normally wouldn't YELP on a cell phone location but the have earned it. I was with AT&T 12 years prior to making the move here and I'm glad I did. I came here just to feel them out on a promotion for a BOGO Samsung S7. They told me a estimate for a plan to fit my NEEDS for my family and I, they did this by compering there plans to my ATT usage off my bills. Told me we would be billed up front for both phones and I would have to go online thru Verizon's Rebate process to get a Visa debit for the $700.00 for the free phone, then we could pay that Visa card back towards the Phone. We went for it, followed the Rebate process and in about a month we did receive the card in mail and did pay in store off one phone. Our payments were $160 a month for two S7's with 16GB data between the two. Before I came here I visited the ATT store one block over. I went in with a appt. and had to wait 20 mins the place was packed and told there were no promotions unless I wanted to purchase a direct TV bundle with plan.... I already have Uverse. They quoted me $1,600 upfront billed to my acct to walk out with phones then bill that out over 36 months on top of cell service. What would my ATT months payment be you ask? $256 a month. For a 12 year customer I felt like I was reduced to number and a wallet. I want to say from the moment I stepped into the Verizon store on Town East I felt welcomed, valued, and received attention. All question were asked and they were professional, promotion aside I would have still went with them. I don't remember his name but the salesman was excellent and very kind, the moved my cell data over even programmed all my wifi passwords. Three months later today I got a call from there store manger not to sell me anything but to just ask how my service was, if I needed anything. Now don't get me wrong they are in business to make money, they will try to sell you accessories, chargers, cases, other services and warranties, but they are not pushy, if you say no they let it go. read more
