It was Wednesday 3/29/17 around 4:30pm when I picked up my new phone. I was greeted by a very cordial lady at the door who checked me in. I only had to wait about 3 minutes when Micheal came to help me. He got me set up on my phone, answered all my questions, put on my screen protector, and helped me pick out a case that was right for me. I was able to stay in the store until I felt assured my new phone was ready to go. It was busy in the store and most of the employees were assisting someone. read more

Did not have the phone model and color I called in advance about, and was assured they had "some" in store. They were also not able to help me with the upgrade via their Next Up plan, they recommended I go to another store for assistance. Time and gas wasted. read more

They just take everybody for their money. Don't do what they tell you they're going to do then when you call to try to get help, adding a new phone or getting a SIM card or whatever they block you and won't let you do anything. I can not recommend this location enough. Dennis was an amazing team member who made my upgrade experience VERY easy, informative and worth every penny! He was eager to answer my millions of questions, pick out accessories, put on my new screen protector/case and help me transfer everything over to my new phone. Definitely visit this location! Worst ATT store around. I should've looked at the reviews before going. Manager doesn't care, the employee Erika had no idea what she was talking about. Purposely sold us the incorrect stuff even after I told her COUNTLESS times that isn't what I want. The store was out of EVERY product I wanted so had to settle for the MOST expensive iPhone. Probably purposely by Erika cause it's a bigger sale? Came back 2 days later and wait 40 minutes for the "next rep", go to check and see why it's taking so long and supposedly they called me 3 times with no answer. I never got a call but I was feet from the door so why didn't someone come see why I wasn't answering? Then had to wait an additional 30 minutes for more assistance and the assistance I got? You aren't an authorized user on an account I just helped set up 2 days prior. I was one of the two adults in the business deal. So then I gotta wait for my mom... yeah my damn mom to come up there. Add another 15 minutes... then the manager instead of helping us says to wait for another employee to help us. We wait another 10 minutes before I just go to the manager who was just standing around to help because obviously that other employee was busy. I tell him what's going on and his only resolution is .... you guessed it.... call customer service. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT WHEN I TOLD THE GUY AT THE DOOR I WANTED TO CANCEL A LINE AND AN INCORRECT ORDER THAT WAS PLACED BY YOUR EMPLOYEE?! Manager is a joke. Can't do anything, isn't helpful with anything I was trying to get done and DOESNT know how to deescalate a situation. Instead he escalates it with snide comments. Made me just want to cancel ATT all together. Lolol then someone from the store actually called me 29 minutes after I left the store... over an hour and 30 minutes after I initially made an appointment at the door. They wanted to let me know they're ready for me to come inside for my appointment. such a joke of a business. Go to any other AT&T store around. Ok I called ahead because I needed to drop off my old phone as part of a trade in deal on my new IPhone. Nice guy answered the phone and we discussed my options of making an appointment online or just walking in. At the time I was told they weren't busy but that could change. I'm at the store now. When I arrived there were a few people and I was told I was 7-8 on the waitlist. I thought that was strange since there were only 3 people in the store and the top 5 people on the wait list were unaccounted for but I guess they could have been waiting in their cars. But there was nothing I could do. I was checked in at 1:17 and their system generated text message said my wait was between 25-37 mins. Hadn't been notified at the 35 min mark so I went back in. I forgot, I'd imagine due to Covid protocol you can't wait in the store so back in the store I go just to be told there are still 4 people ahead of me. As I look around I see 3 ATT employees huddled up laughing and having a great time. And there's one by himself just leaning on a counter. But as of the time of this post I am still waiting. And this is to just turn in my old phone and get a receipt to show that it was turned in. Well I'm coming up on the 1 hour mark standing outside on a rainy, drizzly day. I guess I could go back in Starbucks and buy something else just to kill the time. This isn't the first time I've come to this location and it's always the same so they get One Star from me and I will never come back here. read more

TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The customer service was awful and it took almost TWO hours to get us all set up. Really wish this place would have told us that we have to pay a month in advance (on the first billing cycle), then pay the pro-rated amount since we signed up in the middle of the billing cycle, activation fee and iPhone fee. Even though, we were told that all our fees would be paid since we sold our old iPhone back to them. Our bill came out to be WAY more than what we were told. Their only concern is selling services and devices without telling you the TRUTH behind of all your charges! Absolutely ridiculous! We needed help transferring my contact list to the new phone I received by mail from AT&T. Went to Mesquite Town East location and my husband and I were treated with kindness and patience by Mike. We were amazed by his expertise and we left with my contact list transferred and intact, and with the information about what was needed to transfer my photos from the old phone. We tried to transfer the photos ourselves, but, being technologically challenged, were unsuccessful. We returned to AT&T Town East and received immediate assistance from Brandon. He was just as nice and kind as Mike had been. Having and keeping good staff reflects the kind of management and corporation we really appreciate and we will continue to give our business. read more

Customer service is a joke! Unauthorized changes to account were made at this store by a representative and the "manager". When we tried to get issues resolved we were told that it was a "system glitch". To top it off, after spending countless hours on the phone to get issue resolved we decided to revisit the store to get help since the customer service on the phone is just as much of a joke as it is in store. When we arrived at the store we were told by a representative that the only thing that they can do is call the 800 number that we have been calling from home. On top of that the representative didn't even attempt to call. He just sat there and stared while I had to explain everything all over again. When asked to bring out the manager- the rep stated she was with a customer in the back office and she would be a while. Spent 2 hours at the store for nothing. Not to mention that the manager never became available. Really?!? What a joke. read more

All in all, I would not recommend doing business in this store unless you absolutely have to deal with an AT&T corporate owned location. First off, after arriving, they put you on a waiting list, and we were #24 on the list. Apparently there was supposed to be a 1.5 hour wait. Well, that turned into a 3 hour wait. Worse than waiting in a dr office for an appointment, the associates there are in no hurry to help people even though they know that there are TONS of people waiting. There really is no way to make an appointment because they never answer the phone. So although they appear to accept appointments, it is just not feasible or possible. The man who waited on us was obviously not well trained, he just did not know the packages or plans and tried to tell us that there was not a way to put an another line in my family plan with one phone on it unless I paid some exorbitant extra fee per month. He ultimately ended up trying to put it through the system, and it actually wp went through and added a line to my family plan. The wifi access at the corporate owned store is horrendous, you would think that it would actually work. The sales associate co planned more than once about how slow HIS wifi access was, just to look our account. This store is notorious for not having good customer service hiw they deal with the wait times. Unfortunately I just don't want to deal with resellers because they always end up screwing up the account some way, so I have to deal with this corporate store. After getting the phone that we wanted to add to my family plan, the contacts needed to be transferred to the new phone. So, no big deal to transfer them, right? Well the sales associate transferred the data but failed to put the charging cable back in the box! So when we got home to charge the brand new phone, there was no way to charge it!!!! I called the associate on his mobile phone and he claims he will mail it to us since we live an hour away. What a pain! Brand new phone and no way to charge it. Well honestly I do not recommend that you go to this att corporate owned retail location. Huge wait time, associates not well trained, and they can't even pay attention to detail like putting a cable back in your box. read more

Someone online sent me to this store and I got my issue handled right away! Mai-Lan was seriously the best! She spent an hour talking to people on the phone to address our issue. The request was to remove a dead husband from the account, change the name on the account to the living spouse. We also requested a change of address. Tried calling to see if they had any Note 7's still in stock. Every call I made went unanswered. Assumed they were busy. Drove to the store to find five AT&T clerks all standing by the door doing nothing. Yet still somehow incapable of answering the phone. Was told to call back a couple hours later after a shipment. Called 4 times, still no answer. Drove back to the store, was put in line, then told incorrect information by the clerk regarding temporary passwords and upgrading my phone via the Next plan in an effort to get me to leave. I know this information was incorrect because being so unbelievably stunned by the total lack of customer service, I called other AT&T stores to verify. I refuse to enter this store again. The whole experience has been so awful I can hardly even believe they're in business. read more

We read some negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised! We had a 2:00 p.m. appointment and in-spite of the store being filled with customers we waited less than 5 minutes. Dennis was our salesman. He was very polite and very knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. We highly recommend this AT&T store. 12 year customer reduced to a number and a wallet, went here with a appt. to upgrade my wife and I's phones. I entered and told lady with tablet that I made a apt online she stated If I could just wait 20 mins they would be with me. After a wait I got with one of there salesman whom told me I could upgrade and both lines were eligible. We wanted S7's the guy informed me to upgrade would we would be billed upfront $1,400 or we could spread the total of both phones out over 32 months on top of my cellular service. My new bill total would be $250 until both phones were paid off. We enquired about promotions and we were informed If we wanted to we could bundle cell service with Direct TV and get one phone free, but we were already Uverse customers. Then we were informed there weren't any other way to help us. we were already on the lowest tier plan for minutes. He advised us to wait a few more months to see if promotions change. I felt like this company is company has completely lost connection with there customers. Iswitched to Verizon one block over. Lost me as a customer, and I will be switching Uverse as well when that contract expires. read more

I highly recommend that if you want a cell phone DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. My first visit was the night before Easter and my husband and I were looking to change providers. We spoke with a salesman and he explained a plan that we were interested in but were unable to complete the transaction because the kids weren't with us to change their phones over. We made an appointment for the following Monday and that he was not working on Monday but would get us a different salesman. We arrived for our appointment on time but the "appointed" salesman was already busy. We waited about an hour, the store was busy and the salesman never became available. In the meantime, the asst. manager, Daniel, was just standing around watching everyone else work. I went over and asked to be on the waiting list since the other salesman was taking forever. We finally got to see our second salesman Leslie, we explained what we wanted and told him what we agreed to with the first salesman. He explained the insurance was a little different from what we were originally told and set us up. Explained that we would get a phone credit of $445 per phone form our current provider. I asked if that meant if we owed less than $445 dollars on our phones from Verizon then we would haven't to pay for those phones. He said yes, they would give us a Visa to pay off the phones when we switched over. All we needed to do was bring in our final bill and they would give us the Visa. When I brought in the final bill and talked to my third salesperson, almost 2 weeks later I was told that I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the Visa and it did not pay off the phones, only a percentage and I would have to pay the rest. The most expensive phone was $412 (still within the $445 limit) When I explained that was not what I was originally told she said that was what was meant and what I should have been told. By this time, I felt like I was totally taken advantage of. I spoke to three different salespeople and was told three different stories. I went to Verizon to explain that I need extra time to pay their large bill and asked what they could do to win me back. They agreed to the terms, I went back to AT&T, talked to another salesman, turned in my new phones and cancelled my service within the 14 day grace period. While I was at Verizon I called AT&T to confirm they would still send the Visa card to compensate for my old phones that they kept. They said that I wouldn't get anything. They took my old phones, got their new phones and accessories back and I would not get ANYTHING. When they brought over the asst. manager, Daniel, he was very rude, and repeated that I would not get a thing from AT&T. When I asked if I should contact my lawyer, he stated that once I brought up "legal issues" he was no longer obligated to talk to me and walked off. This man does not have the personality, experience or professionalism to be a manager of any establishment that deals with the public. To sum up my experience, I spoke with 4 different salespeople, told 4 different stories of how things would be done, they got their phones back, kept my original phones which they don't feel they need to compensate me for since I wouldn't stay with AT&T. Now I still have to payoff Verizon for the old phones, and purchase new phones since I am not able to reactivate my old phones. Even with this extra expense with Verizon, I still feel they are the superior company over customer service and phone service than AT&T could ever hope to be. it would be better to put 2 tin cans together with string than to use AT&T. They either don't train their salespeople correctly (since they have conflicting sales strategies) or they hire liars. read more

I wish I could give this Place 0 stars I would. I almost want to cancel my service with AT&T after my visit. I just needed a SIM card. Was put on a waiting list. Went on 3-6-17. Arrived around 7:40 pm. Store was busy but there were at least 5 employees not attending to customers. There were 2 people ahead of myself. The gentleman before me looked as miserable as I did and a couple other parties were just sitting in oblivion. Had to listen to a guy talk about an ex with an employee for 25 mins. Another associate came over to help(listen to his story) they seemed to get along very well. When I said they could take me off the waiting list, I was just told ok. There were 3 customers that came in after me. Why not just tell them you won't be seen tonight. Main manager behind computer didn't want to budge. Just mumbled to tell customers to sign in. I went to get a new iphone 5s. They only had 64gb models in stock. I was told I could pay $399 with a two year contract or $37 per month with a total of $444 in payments and upgrade in one year with no contract. I chose the $444 in payments. When I saw my bill the total of the payments was $740. I went back to the store to resolve the issue. I offered to let them change the total from $740 to $444 or remove the payments and let me pay the $399 and take the two year contract. they refused to do any thing about it. I went home and called at&t. They also refused to do anything about it. I was lied to by an at&t employee and they are trying to cheat me out of $296. read more
