I had already been to the wonderful people that own the Cell Phone Doctor in town so I knew my iPhone 16 pro max needed to be replaced. Pro tip never charge a newer iPhone with a Mac book charger it will fry the chip inside the phone. Due to the amount of phones we have through our business (we just switched over 300 plus employee phones from AT&T to Verizon) Dustin had to call his manager named Gabriel to try and get me a replacement. Dustin was unbelievably rude in front of me and my husband berating us due to the size of our account and the amount of phones we have attached to our account. In a normal world you would think an employee representing Verizon would recognize the large account and try help the owner of said account with a simple request to replace a phone. Instead I was met with animosity and condescension. Dustin refused to help and then threw his manager Gabriel under the bus for not being able to replace the phone when in reality he just didn't want to help us. I did make an appointment at 5pm knowing they closed at 7. Despite having an appointment I wasn't helped until 6pm and we were approaching closing time so I am sure that may have played a role in Dustin's demeanor but it was totally uncalled for. When I called our Verizon rep in the store Dustin then proceeded to berate her as well due to the size of our account. I had such a horrible experience and none of it makes any sense. Thankfully our Verizon rep sent me a replacement phone today but this whole experience could have been avoided with a competent employee. I hope the owners of this authorized Verizon dealer see this review and look into Dustin's behavior. This interaction was witnessed by two other families in the store that I've known for decades. Avoid this authorized dealer at all costs!
