If you need a new phone ask, I repeat, ask, for Placido!! I came in one day very uncertain about a new phone, I wasn't sure if I needed a new one or I was just trying to treat myself. I met with placido and was immediately greeted with kindness. There was no rush and he was more than happy to answer all my indecisive questions. He was very attentive and helped with every step of the process. Before the visit, I had an old iPhone 6, slow, but it did the job. I have dealt with this store location a few times in the past and they were always ok. Not overly friendly or helpful, but not hard to deal with either. Went in a month ago to purchase a phone with my fiancee and the sales guy helping us was extremely pushy and kept adding stuff on to our bill (appliances and store items) that we didnt even ask for, only telling us right before handing over payment, "Actually can I be honest with you? I added such and such to your tab to show you that it doesnt cost much more" blah blah blah. Yes he actually said those exact words. When we told him no, he persisted until finally I had to be rude about it. Fast forward to today, the same phone had an issue with a strip of the screen not being responsive to touch. My fiancee went in to see about swapping it out or getting it repaired and they told ger that because there was the TINIEST of scratches that was made by the stylus the phone comes with, they considered it a crack and refused to return it. When I pressed the manager about it she just said "Store policy" and acted like we were S.O.L. Horrible way to run a business, unempathetic, and a downright scam. We won't be returning to this location and will probably switch from T-Mobile unless our call with corporate yields a better result. Update: Within 10 minutes of being on the phone with the corporate office, T-Mobile issued my fiancee a new phone free of charge and apologized for the issue. Went to this store because my ZTE ZMAX phone was not working right again. It was replaced once already. Come to find that I had been give a refurbished phone both times. Had no choice but to request another phone, which I was told would be overnighted to me, arriving Monday evening. Nothing was said about any charges. I was given my receipt, which had small print, and I had no glasses with me to read it there. When I finally read the receipt, it said it was shipping UPS ground and they were charging me $20.00 for warranty exchange or something like that. I tried calling the store, finally getting the manager, who stated he would research what happened and call me by noon the next day. Well, 1 pm I was in the store after waiting for the call that never came I was told the manager was on a conference call and couldn't be interrupted. Finally, one rep. started researching what had happened, and they did remove the $20.00 fee, but had no reason for shipping my phone by ground when promised it would be overnighted. So today, I called T-Mobile and asked why it was shipped ground, and found out my phone will not arrive now until the 15th instead of today, due to weather. They offered no compensation. I explained to them I needed a larger phone due to medical reasons, but still no compensation. I am currently researching who we can switch our service to, and will take these useless phones to the T-Mobile store, get a receipt, so they can not charge me anymore for their second rate phones. If I could give no stars, I would. read more

They are very rude and inconsiderate. Not knowing half the plans or products. Plus saying that there's a free tablet without explaining that it requires service. Also the store manager Mr. Montoya doesn't follow up with his customers and when confronted about it acts like he doesn't know what you're talking about. I had just purchased a new iPhone 6s in November through T-Mobile. The phone worked seamlessly until about a week ago. Got home from work with it being at 10%. Plugged in and left it alone, when I came back the charge symbol showed but battery was draining. Finally died. Took phone into location and they got a warranty exchange going. When I walked in, was greeted by the amazing Jesus, and he provided the best customer service ever! Jesus needs a raise! He set up my new phone and was hilarious. We went today to upgrade my phone which on a couple days ago I was told I had qualified for zero down only pay taxes and today they said I didnt and we had to wait almost 2 hours, very bad customer service. A couple of them were just standing around not doing much just talking to each other and a lot of other people were waiting. read more

The girl with the bright pink lipstick who greeted me when i walked in with my daughter...was horrible. She looked like the life was sucked out of her and she barely had any energy to talk or smile. She had this ugly look on her face, not very nice, and very poor customer service on her part. I went in trying to get more info about their plans but after experiencing this...i think I rather stay with ATT. Atleast, ATT's customer service is way better...so ill keep giving them my money instead. Overall she had to have other ppl help me then stood there just staring and then took off. T mobile...you need to have your employees get re trained on customer service. The gal Brittany was nice though, i give her 4/5. read more

This is the second time I've accompanied my mom to this store. Both times have been less than satisfying. This past weekend we arrived to upgrade her phone and were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. This was ok with us but it ended up taking closer to an hour. Finally we were waited on by a young lady who while polite was obviously not trained in the way a full service cellular provider should. My experiences while upgrading at the ATT store have been amazing compared to the customer service offered at this location. We asked if my moms account could be reviewed to make sure she is receiving the best deal 'no we don't do that, you have to dial 611'. Whaaaaat???? We asked if she could transfer my mom's contacts to her phone...blank stare 'they'll automatically transfer'...they didn't. On top of it all somehow my mom is paying for data but can not use the Internet on her new smart phone. To top it off, as we were being waited on the employee helping us was talking to another employee about their plans that evening. The general feeling in this store is 'we want you out so we can chit chat and twirl our hair. What is the point of going to a full service T-Mobile store if you can not get service? read more

This store is always crowded and I have been here many times to purchase phones and get general customer service over the years I have been with T-mobile. Today was by far the most aggravating of all my experiences at this location, which sadly is the only corporate store in the area. When I arrived I was told that my wait would be no longer than 10 min. I waited for 45 min and when all of the customers that were ahead of me had left and I was the only one in the store, I still didn't get serviced. I watch as all of the other employees stood around and did nothing. I do not blame them, but their manager. This is just a poorly managed store that lacks the leadership to make it run smoothly. This guy should be demoted back to the store room. I will be doing all my T-mobile business online now, which is sad as I furthers the idea that having a physical store is useless and a complete waste of time. read more

Went in to get a micro sim card for my new phone since my older phone used the larger size.. The girl (Evening weekday hours) who help me questioned why I needed a new sim card acting like I had no idea as to what I was talking about and promptly reminded me it would cost me $20. As she began processing my request, she was having side discussions with coworkers about other stuff. During her conversation, her coworker stated to her that she needed to activate the account and she stated "Already took care of it". Well needless to say SHE DID NOT. I had to take a second trip down to the store to get this fixed. This is my second bad experience at this location and heard of similar complaints from others. I think I will be driving to Atwater from now on. Either the manager is ignorant to these online reviews or it has not reached corporate office yet. read more

Closed my account with T-Mobile after being a customer for nearly 10 years. I had 2 lines, close both accounts, paid both lines of just as they instructed. I even paid for the BS charges that they make up on the fly. They still sent a $840 charge to collections and it's sitting on my credit report. Clever way of double charging customers who likely would have no plans of coming back. Their network is horrible anyway. I don't know why I tolerated it that long anyway. read more
