CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE. I was charged random $10 charges for 4 devices I purchased in store. Also, Setup fees for Apple which is literally a push of a button! And was told I could not have set it up myself at home, only if I made the purchase online! WHAT!?? 500 in fees in store which did not include activation fees coming up on my next bill. When I spoke to the store manager Lucy, I was brushed off as if there was nothing that could be done. I asked for the number for customer service and was told they wouldn't be able to help either.. I threatened to return my devices and she couldn't care less stating that would just be more money lost. I STILL CALLED Verizon customer service and was able to get reimbursed via credits on my next bill for their lies and bogus fees. You can get equipment here but it will cause issues. You also are unable to get in touch with anybody from this store to fix any issues. Had the best experience I've ever had at a Verizon store here. Mark helped me set up a replacement phone for one I had dropped, and in the process took a look at my account and noticed some errors in how it was set up. He helped me correct this with the Verizon help line. Very nice and courteous and made what I assumed would be a painful process very easy and simple. Cannot recommend enough! read more

I've been with Verizon for years and never had an issue until I tried this Verizon store. (The one on Gst. by Raleys rocks) . In late June i wanted to get a family member a phone and did. So far so good. (Or so I thought) then an avalanche of mishaps plagued the entire experience. A young gal helped me who had been off a year due to Covid and her skill set was rusty (expected). She did her best however after four hours and plan changes that did not benefit me whatsoever I left disgruntled, and my phone bill doubled. So many things went wrong soo fast that I just wanted out‼ I've touched base with corporate many times and they told me the plan wasn't explain properly and that's about all I got from them. My last contact I was promised a call back about 10 days ago..I'm still waiting. Since this SNAFU the hood people have reached out to me with a couple of beautiful offers. Worst experience of my life using mobile network and purchasing 4 devices. Took almost 2 months untill the billing statement was accurate. Service so poor 3 of 4 of my family members moved to T Mobile as soon as possible. After 1yr. The billing department is so disconnected from the service that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Be vigilant and keep an eye on your bill. They actually disconnected my service over a charge from 18months ago. They black mailed me to the point that I was not able to negotiate a payment option and disconnected my service. I had to contact Techical support and say I had connection problems B4 I could actually talk to a person. I had to scrutinize my bills to find the Verizon Billing issue and give them the Invoice # to clarify Verizons issue B4 the would acknowledge it and reverse the charge. Beware. They sold an iPhone 15 to a person on my account that didn't have access. Joclin S. made them the account manager and allowed them to make the purchases I am paying for. They also sold two liquid glass cases, one for the front one for the back and a physical case and lens protectors. They also sold them a jewel box and a cable for a MacBook. The person purchasing it doesn't even have a MacBook or an iPad or a computer They don't even have Internet at their house, All this to a person on a tight budget with mental difficulties. We went to this location to look at information about upgrading 2 lines and adding a new line that's how we met Marcus we ended up adding a new line and he said they wouldn't charge us the activation fee and they did charge us the activation fee we contacted verazion and they said that we needed to go to the store and they had to do something on their end and that they would refund or credit it back to the account uts been 3 bills after that and nothing but this wasn't the bad experience we had with Marcus he was kind that time but didn't want to do anything in his part to refund the activation fee so that ends there we went back to upgrade our line and Ashley helped us out she order new phones because they didn't have them in stock so she called yesterday June 6 to tell us the phones showed up if we wanted to pick them up but we weren't in town we live 1 hour alway from this location so we told her we can make it on June Friday the 7th she said she wouldn't be there but anyone there can help us with the upgrade of the lines when we showed up Marcus was there and he said he couldn't help us because the phones were locked in Ashley's personal safe and that he didn't know the code honestly sounds to me like he didn't want to deal with us we told him that she said any one could help and he kept making excuses we told him that we drove an hour alway and he didn't care he said that he couldn't fine or do anything for us that we had to come back Monday when Ashley was back so we called corporate and they told us he was lying about not been able to help us amd that they don't have individual safes for all the workers I told him if he can call his manager he said he was the manager so now we are just going to cancel the upgrades and go to a different location read more

This place is absolutely trash. Went in because my phone screen broke and figured it was time to upgrade instead of paying for the insurance. Anyways a staff member "helped me out." Went in and after I walked out I was told I had 2 credits for my phone. 1 credit for a new line and 1 credit for a trade in. Only 1 credit ever showed up on my bill. When I went back to find the issue they "figured it out" by giving me the credit I was missing but denying the other credit for a new line ever existed. I got a new number for the SOLE reason that I was getting a credit for it. Went in 3 more times. Spoke to a manager named Daniel, once and spoke to the General manager, I forget her name, twice. They will say whatever they can to get you to get out of their way so they can make another sale. After 15 minutes on the phone I was told 'we'll get it figured out and give you a call' never called me. I called again and GM told me she figured out what happened and we would take care of it. Really dissatisfied at the moment. I switched service from sprint to Verizon and so far this isn't going well. Waited for almost a month for our phones to come in, not a big deal. Picked them up last night and there was complications with adding my fiancé's phone with my plan due to my fiancé not knowing her account PIN number from sprint. Again not a big deal. So my fiancé called today with the pin and the issue not fixed. Now I'm a father and a pretty busy guy and wasn't able to come in person as I hoped for earlier today, but none the less the issue was supposed to be taken care. It wasn't not a follow up call nada. So I called around 6:30 and she told me to come in because there was a part of my contract I needed to sign to get my fiancé's phone transferred. So I said I can be there shortly and after getting my son ready and driving across town I get there and she had left for the night! The night I picked up our phones and transferred service when we had arrived she wasn't there either but her co-worker at least called her and she came right back. Well this co worker, Jesse refused to call her and not to mention she is the store manager. He was rude, when I asked him for his last name he wouldn't give it to me. So I wasted my time my fiancé who is a realtor and depends on her phone heavily for business calls still doesn't work right. Seriously disappointed, I thought Verizon was the king of customer service, turns out their phone customer services for our accounts also closes before 7pm or so Jesse told me customer service was already closed as I told him it was a contract problem that I was informed from by his manager Elizabeth and when I got it there it was 6 minutes till 7pm. I also had to have my debit card applied for auto pay and my veteran id for my veteran discount. I don't like my time wasted. This is not the kinda start I wanted from Verizon. Walked in an hour before they closed - my son's phone wasn't working and it was breaking up conversations. I couldn't have a decent conversation with my son - it was mostly text for 2 weeks. So when I came to Merced yesterday to visit, we stopped by here & Manny fixed my son's phone! I am so thankful to him! It turns out my son had it on global settings instead of Verizon. Came here to get an upgrade on my iPhone. This is the first and last time giving them my business. Charging customers w/o letting them know ahead of time of THEIR fees is how they run this business. This is a authorized 2nd party Verizon store. If you're familiar with setting up a new phone, I suggest you do it yourself. They charged me $19.99 on my new phone just to set it up( Again, 2nd party fees). I could have just done it myself if I would've known ahead of time! They bought my phone back for $60 after finishing up my transaction on an upgrade and told me they couldn't give me a refund since it was done outside of the upgrade transaction. Let me remind you, I just finish paying for the upgrade on my new phone and then they decided they can buy my phone back. I asked for a store credit of the $60. Was told they can't not give me a refund or store credit. The only option was to purchase $60 worth of accessories and that had to be done that same day. After spending 2 1/2 hrs there, I left with my new phone along with the unneeded accessories upset. Do not spend your money here. Overpriced and unprofessional. read more

They quoted me $23 something for an iPhone 7. Then the contract said over $27. When I got home the Merced Verizon website said $22.91. They charged me the iPhone7 Plus price and gave me an iPhone 7. There is a $70 restocking fee and the extra charge will end up $125. I like to do business locally but these people are not honest. And they made me wait and wait and wait. I was very uncomfortable.
