I'll bet Verizon's million-dollar executives are scratching their heads over their Champagne-and-caviar lunches, wondering why T-Mobile is eating their lunch and stealing their customers. I'll also bet that is why they have been prompted to lease data space to Cox Communications for their new Cox Mobile service at significant savings over their own pricing. This kind of business strategy is thoughtless at best, and suicidal at worst. Cox's entry and use of Verizon's towers will only hasten Verizon's demise as the premier carrier in the United States. In fact, Cox goes so far as to stop "just short" of advertising that it uses Verizon towers. And when you talk with Cox Mobile salespeople, all they speak about is that they're running on Verizon's network. I wonder, and scratch my head, walking into the corporate Verizon store at 7030 S. Rainbow Rd., Las Vegas, and see two, maybe three customers milling about, waiting for four, yes, four, Verizon salespeople who are laughing and talking amongst themselves, why Verizon now finds itself in the position it is in. I waited over ten minutes last night at the Verizon store after leaving the T-Mobile store across the street. T-Mobile had five or six working staffers trying to keep up with twice as many customers. And Verizon continues to wonder -- and is only now trying to catch up -- with all sorts of incentives for new and existing customers. And by the way, those "incentives" come with all kinds of contractual agreements, including three years of indentured servitude to Verizon. While T-Mobile has its share of problems -- it has oversold its services, has inadequately trained Filipino agents, and hour-plus-long phone and in-store wait times -- Cox Mobile also has significant issues, having tried to enter the realm of Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T on two prior occasions and failed abysmally each time. And Cox also has incompetent offshore contracted agents, just as T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T do. And let's not forget AT&T, with ridiculously high prices, poor offshore customer service, and faltering service. Based on my actual experience with Verizon Wireless 5G Home Internet spanning several years, I warn you not to use this company as your internet provider in Las Vegas. Verizon has replaced my in-home router FOUR times. That's the essential device needed to connect a single internet connection and creates a local network for a television, personal computer, home wifi, etc. My question has always been: Why does Verizon use such DEFECTIVE hardware? This router does not last very long before it fails and disconnects me from the internet. I work from home, so internet service to me is a business necessity. I have had YEARS of experience dealing in Las Vegas with Verizon's excuse-making customer service people who do not seem to have ever receive proper communications training. After being with AT&T for years and even with my work discount, the price of our monthly plan for 3 phones went up. When I asked AT&T to see if they could give us discounts on upgrading or changing our plan to save a little money, they wouldn't budge. I went to this specific Badura location because it's close to the house and we eat around this area often. Jason was awesome from the get go and really made sure to take care of me. He had everything listed for me from discounts to additional savings and to this day is still very helpful. Pretty much received 3 new iPhone 15 pros with a cheaper plan than I had from AT&T and only had to pay for tax for them. My Samsung S21 5g was indicating no SIM card, turned out the battery was swelling making the case bulge, and apparently making the SIM card unrecognized, so I had NO service. Needed a new phone immediately, and as I had been at this corporate store previously, I asked for Jason, who wasn't there, but VINCE was super helpful, but super busy, so it took a while, but I was more than willing to wait. While waiting, a very helpful Samsung Sales Mgr. just happened to be there, and after going over the different S25 models, I selected the Samsung S25+. VINCE figured out the very best way $$ wise for me to do this, given my current plan benefits, Total Equipment Coverage, and other discounts, so it was $ painless. ALL data was transferred and I left with the latest Samsung phone just released about a month ago...FIVE STAR REVIEW for all at this location that were involved and helpful. Went in this morning to have an iPhone 11 Pro Max replaced due to the Bluetooth malfunctioning. I dealt with a very arrogant know it all guy named Jimmy. Friendly? Not at all! It would've been better off talking to the wall! I went there cuz my brand new iPhone i got yesterday at the Town Square Verizon store was not working properly. Town Square store was out of the iPhone 11 256GB I was looking for. I got told to check out another Verizon store, this one was the closest to me. I explained in details to Jimmy the issue and even showed him a screen recording that I had done to show him the people while it was happening. He could've given much of a shjt anyway. He was all over my AirPods pro why? I have no idea why, then after messing with my AirPods for about 15 min he shouts LOUD to the whole empty store to hear "I GOT IT HA I GOT IT FIXED I KNEW IT WAS NOT YOUR IPHONE ITS BRAND NEW I KNEW IT WAS YOUR AIRPODS". Mr. know it all(obnoxious)check yourself! I AGAIN showed him what the issue was! Told him, jimmy it's NOT my AirPods that's the problem, the Bluetooth doesn't allow ANY device to connect that's the issue that's going on. After being there for about 30+ min and quite irritated, he tried it all to try to NOT replace my iPhone, he was finally out of options and realized that the iPhone I brought in was defective and it had to be replaced. Really disliked dealing with him. I know the world is full of know it all's.... but be a little more professional and courteous to your Verizon customers, I dump 500 bucks a month on your company, a little nice attitude can go along ways jimmy!! This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had with a business and also with Verizon and I have been a customer for years. I don't think the employees are bad people but this was very bad service. Not one thing about this process went properly. I arrived at the Verizon location off of S Rainbow at 4:45 spoke with Wendy, who stated that I could get business internet in my neighborhood and get an iPhone. After sitting for 1.5 hours I was handed off to a guy named Lucky. Lucky told me after another half hour of sitting that there is no business internet in my neighborhood and that I can only receive LTE. He then attempted 2 times and failed at just ordering my an iPhone for my business. The first fail was an "error" the second attempt was a process of the order he had rushed which he ended up not even ordering the correct phone I wanted. So I sat for close to three hours, left empty handed and didn't even get the phone that I wanted I was also told by Wendy and lucky that I would have my phone shipped to me in 2 days (after paying).. After reviewing an email/receipt it stated I wouldn't get my phone until 09/01/23. This has been the worst customer service experience I have had. Lack of effective communication, I felt like it was just about the sale and I had zero follow up until I had reached out after that experience. Again, nice people terrible experience. read more

After being swindled to buy multiple phones, plans and a recurring iCloud bill now, I'm glad an honest location was able to help. On Wednesday 8/4 in the afternoon I arrived at this store to return an case. Not only was I greeted by multiple staff upon entering but the female rep who introduced herself as Wendy assisted me and was very knowledgeable and cordial. She made the return a breeze and was able to direct me to another case that fit my lifestyle. I visited this Verizon store at 11:30 on Sunday 7/14. The manager of this store is very nice and provides excellent customer service. I am shocked that he has someone working in his store like the girl we encountered today. As soon as we walked in, she was very rude. She would not make eye contact and would not answer the questions that we had prior to a phone activation. She was very dismissive and arrogant just pushing us through the process as if we were a total waste of her time. My son was very nervous about losing his data when transferring to a new phone and she was not supportive at all. The manager finished assisting us with the transfer. He was very informative, and patient. He allowed us to ask questions and gave detailed explanations that left us feeling confident and well informed before making the transfer. He should be commended for his service and Wendy should not be working in a customer service based position. read more

Purchased a few phones during Verizon's fathers day promotion and had the phones sent to this branch for pick up. Wow, what a mistake. I was never told that the phones had arrived and this branch processed the cancellation after three days. When I called the branch to get everything cleared up, for one I never knew who I was talking to as the representative never introduced himself, and second, put me on hold for ten minutes - this was when the store opened mind you. I called back and the same guy picked up explaining that there were in store customers at the moment and he could not help me. The employees are very friendly and helpful, but the problem is with Nick the store manager. My first experience with him was when my parents both upgraded their phones last month to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. He insisted on my parents buying accessories, but when I informed him that we already bought the accessories on Amazon, he gave me a condescending response. I've also had issues with my Google Pixel phone, which I am on my 3rd one since January 2017. On 6/23/17, my 2nd phone stopped working and drove down to the store to get it replaced again. When I drove down to the store to see the possibility of getting my phone changed to a different one because of all the issues I'm having with the Google Pixel, the manager didn't want to take any responsibility of the situation and insisted on me calling customer service instead. He told me word for word "They're going to ask me about this and I don't want to be on the hook for it". The next day on 6/24/17, I went back to the store to switch my line using my backup phone, Nick avoided speaking to me at all costs. Today I went into the store to change the SIM cards on the 2nd phone and my new replacement phone. Nick once again refused to speak to me, but had no problem informing his employees about my situation and getting them to speak to me instead. Even after I was leaving the store, he had the audacity to stare at me as I'm walking out. This manager does not care about customer service. He only cares about selling you phones and accessories to make the store numbers to look good. If you have any serious issues, this is the store to avoid. read more

Wendy the representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was looking to move phone plans and needed information. I accidentally went to ask a question while she was talking and she hastily said "let me finish first". When we didn't know what phone we wanted she said "just go look". She didn't offer any knowledge about the phones or anything and seamed annoyed we didn't know about the different models. At this point I felt really uncomfortable with her and how I was being treated but I still wanted to hear the price of the plan. We gave her our information for a quote and then she disappeared in the back for over 20 minutes as if she was taking a break or something. After the attitude and the waiting we left the building with not even a quote! I will be very happy to bring my business elsewhere with a customer service rep that does not give me attitude and will help me pick a phone that I enjoy. read more
