Geesus, if I could give these f***heads in the store, and their online 'chat' customer service a million negative stars, I would. I don't even know where to start--the lack of support via chat, where they will keep you on for....oh I don't know, 45 mins to over FIVE HOURS today? And then ended with "go to the store." When I did go to the store about this same issue a few days ago, I had some 20, 30 something kid (and I say that, despite his age, b/c of his immaturity and actual lack of customer service, and his sh*tty attitude). It doesn't matter you have to wait so long to be seen already. They wouldn't stand behind my nine-month old iphone 16 pro that has malfunctioned and offered, finally I thought, to send me a new phone--turned out it was a refurbished thing--uh.....what about the manufacturer's warranty? I turned on the replacement phone, it wouldn't connect or transfer data from my old phone, but it disabled my old phone so I can't make calls, for work, no less. Gee verizon, great technology!! I've been a Verizon customer for three years, and recently decided to upgrade all four lines on my account. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a nightmare. The customer service representatives I spoke with over the phone were poorly informed and consistently provided incorrect information. After placing my initial order by phone, I later discovered that nearly everything the representative told me was wrong. Each time I called back, I spoke to a different agent, and each one gave me a completely different explanation or solution. I eventually went to a Verizon store for help, only to be told they couldn't assist me because the order was placed over the phone. In total, this issue took three weeks to resolve, more than 25 hours on the phone, and about 7 hours spent going back and forth trying to fix the problems in the store caused by Verizon's own customer service. In the end, I had to settle for paying $30 more per month and accept a phone I didn't originally want, just to put this situation behind me. Buyer beware. Ask for the for either of these two. Marie was the primary contact for me. NOTE: I spent over seven hours online with alleged Verizon Technicians attempting to activate two new phones to replace to older phones. Not only did the online technicians fail to activate the phones they also deactivated my older phones. I was without service for 1 day. A total of around 12 hours online. On January, we visited this store for our new phones and get new carrier but we've been waited like an hour to talk with agent. But still we made it and we thought everything was clear. But while we've been using for two week, internet was suck. even inside of hotel hall or walking out side was so bad. Like my phone was keep showing out of service in middle of city. So we cancel everything and move the carrier. But we was keep receiving bills from Verizon. Even until now!!. Originally, I brought in my own phone, but due to an issue with my previous provider marking it as stolen, I needed a new one. Eddie spent nearly two hours assisting me with patience and understanding. As a student and mother, I wasn't planning to buy a new phone, but Eddie found an affordable option that met my needs. He also recommended the best student plans and was knowledgeable about the streaming services I use. I truly appreciated his dedication and exceptional customer service. Horrible customer service! Went to the store for assistance with resolving an ongoing issue. Was turned away saying they can't help and the manager Scott said that he dealt with a similar issue with his cell phone and understood how frustrating it is. When did Verizon start taking such poor care of their customers...NOT TAKING OWNERSHIP! The issue began 1/25/24 when I called 611 to replace a damaged iPhone 12. I didn't have insurance and was offered a iPhone 14 with a minimum monthly payment. What I received was iPhone 14 with anew line. I began calling Verizon on 1/28/24, to report that the new phone wasn't a Pro Max (large screen). I had so many confusing conversations to no avail. My 4th or 5th call was on 2/1/24, I spoke with Denise from the Loyalty Dept who discovered that the replacement phone added a new line. She reassured me that all I had to do was return the phone and she would handle the rest. She sent a UPS label. I went to UPS who charged me $3.95 to print the label. Everything such a hustle. Shortly thereafter I started getting notice that my account was charged a $700+ buyout for early termination...WTH! I was so frustrated that I didn't call Verizon back until 2/9/24, again I spoke with many representatives many of them with language barriers working in another country with VERY LOUD, UNPROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND NOISE. So, I went to the Verizon store in an attempt to resolve my issue and was turned away by the manager Scott unwilling to help me resolve the issue, but told me I will need the tracking number for the returned phone and verified that I disabled auto billing. He also offered to allow me to stay in store to call 611. I left the store disappointed and frustrated! I called 611 again and spent over 1 hour on the phone with Audrey to get the situation resolved HOPEFULLY! Really BAD EXPERIENCE after 15+ years of service with VERIZON WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER phone carrier! read more

The Mrs & I recently upgraded to iPhone 13 & we were having troubles downloading gmail onto her phone & connecting her blue tooth ear piece. We happened to be close to this Verizon store & just walked in, no appointment. Chris was just fantastic! He met us at the door, asked what we needed & as we explained our problems, he said "I got this. C'mon back." It wasn't easy or quick, but Chris patiently worked through our problems, explaining what he was doing as he progressed. There is NO way we could've gotten it accomplished. I'm pretty sure I would've thrown the phone against a wall! Chris had to ask for assistance from the manager Kieha (I'm sure I just horribly misspelled her name) Both of them, working as team, solved our problems & we walked out much happier than when arrived. I've been an AT&T customer my entire life but over the past few years I noticed their service has been terrible everywhere I go. I've had many recommendations from friends to go to Verizon! Today I went to the Verizon store location on Eastern and Chris G. helped me! He was so patient and friendly and made my switch over to them so smooth. :) He checked and made sure he got me the best deal with them! He helped transfer all my stuff for me and also got me a great deal on a bundle with a new case, screen protector, and New charger for the iPhone 12 Pro. I called Verizon support because my iPhone was getting very hot, so much so that I couldn't hold it. The rep I spoke to at that time told me that this was not normal and she would send me a replacement phone. I received the phone the next day, but I didn't know how to do the transfer from phone to phone. I called support again to help me. The first rep I spoke to couldn't help me and I was transferred to another rep. The second rep couldn't help so I was transferred to yet another rep. That person couldn't help me either. Ultimately I was transferred to a "step up level" rep who apparently had more technical knowledge. This rep (Anthony) said he would send (yet another) replacement phone and call me the next day at 4:00 pm when his shift began. He PROMISED he would call me. Guess what? No phone call! So I called Verizon again today and was told that this rep was on vacation! I was then told to bring the phone to the store. From the reviews I have read, and from this experience, I don't have much faith that this store will help. I have been with Verizon for 10 years. I would definitely choose to go with another service, but I am stuck in a contract. The proper response from Verizon at this point, would be for them to give me a credit for all my trouble. I have been a Verizon customer for well over a decade and a half and I have NEVER been treated this poorly in ANY establishment and I've been around a long time. I bought a new phone and couldn't get it to work so I called the help center after attempting to fix it myself and then on-line. The lady on line spent over an hour trying everything she could to get it working and kudos to her for being patient and cheerful throughout. We made a joke about it being possessed and she told me to go in to my nearest store to replace the phone. Unbeknownst to me I passed one right near my home ( turned out to have been my greatest mistake) anyway I went into this store (never again) and told the gentleman what I had done so far and that the lady on the phone had told me to get a new one & repeated the JOKE about it being possessed. This bald, African American man ( I state this since I don't remember his name,sorry) grabbed my phone, almost snatching the phone out of my hands and turned to an obviously lower level employee (treating her like a minion too) "what's that code for" I didn't hear what he input this code and and my phone worked. He then thrusts the phone to me while saying to me "we don't just give new phones away & there's no such thing as a possessed phone" then he turns around and storms away. He's supposed to be a supervisor? In my opinion this nasty man should not be dealing with customers at all. He needs his mouth duct taped shut or put him in a warehouse or such, I was a nurse and served in the Air force so I know dealing with "customers" can be a royal pain, getting insulted etc all day but this guy has no control at all. Maybe just give him a zanex before work to chill him out. I will change my carrier as soon as I can I don't pay to get treated this way. NEVER USE THIS STORE go somewhere else. read more

IF rep says they "will try to put you thru" to the store just hang up-- they put you thru to ANOTHER automated system that is NOT the store; its an auto message directing you to their website "to find a store near you" that YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONTACT. Long time Verizon customer here - like decades. Upgrading 2 IPhone 11's for a 15. Tried online last night but wanted to see the colors in person (which weren't on display ;((). Couldn't have found a more condescending salesperson than Amber. She kept calling me hon, and it was like fingers on a chalkboard. I could be her mother. Totally disrespectful. I questioned some charges, like the warranty and the Disney Plus membership and she treated me like an idiot. And called me hon. Over and over. Her body language spoke to me like she couldn't get far away enough from us. We were at the end of the table because that's where the screen is that she was showing me, then she waved her hands and said "sit down". When we didn't move, she literally moved away from us. If I hadn't promised my 17 year old an upgrade for her birthday, and this being the only day we could fit this in in person, we would have been long gone. Once I gave her my credit card and our new and old phones were synching she completely disappeared. Two other gentlemen had to help me out. A very bad experience and someone needs to retrain Amber how to treat customers. First suggestion, remove "hon" from her vocabulary. read more

I was helped by Eddie and he and the Verizon team were very helpful for my mom and I. We needed to switch phone lines as well as buying a new phone, and he had made the transition very easy and smooth. Answered all of the questions we had and put into detail what exactly our plan and perks were. The location was also very clean and tidy. The workers there looked at ease and don't look like they don't like their jobs or want to be there. I would definitely recommend this place, but I did go there at a slow, not busy time, so it may be a little different when it is busy. read more

The phone transferred set up online is the worst. I was told all I will need is my account number and PIN transfer number. The customer service rep didn't tell me I am going to get an email to verify my address. I got to the store was told my order is still pending. I traveled 2 hours to pick up this phone. They already changed me for the phone and set up in the meantime. Such dumb reps working from home. Maybe they need to go to work at a real office. I've been with AT&T for 22 years. Was there today and the service seemed great, got a new iPhone 11 and an otter box case for it. Was told it was 100% activated and might take 10 or 15 minutes. They gave me the usual "if it doesn't work at first just reset it and try again" Well now its been over 3 hours and the phone is still not activated, so I call the store and they send me to another number to activate it. I have now been on hold for 35 minutes trying to activate. After giving them $900 for a new product, half my day has been wasted. The lady I am on hold with right now said the new iPhone was never even activated at the store today. She ended up being any to help me out, but in the future, I will have the phone mailed to me and handle everything with corporate on the phone, not going back to this location. read more

Well, after 9 months, I decided to pay off the phones (30 month finance "deal"). Ended up paying of the full price of both phones-no 50% off!! My experience here has been nothing but pleasant from when I first walked in. Eddie is my go to guy now and he was phenomenal with helping me get the most for my trade in! Highly recommend seeking him for all your mobile services as he is the most knowledgeable one in the store out of all the reps. I was super lucky today to get the last sierra blue iPhone 13 pro max, totally wasn't expecting it since I heard about all the back order. Maybe it's just me, but I feel as if it's time for all the wireless options to go bankrupt so that they can all start over. Get new employees, build the IT systems so they actually work, etc... After wasting 20 hours of my life, and 7 times contacting ATT to take my ex-wife's name off communications to me, and getting "I promise I have fixed this issue," every single time I decided to take my business elsewhere. Well, Verizon is just as bad. Maybe even worse since they can't even get a fresh account set up correctly. I can send texts, but not receive and I only learned this several days later and missed important texts. After spending hours upon hours trying to chat, calling the phone number only to have it read me a message that I need to call the exact number I just called, I went into the store. This is where it got really ugly. As I'm sitting waiting for my turn and employee starts telling off a customer that she's wasting everyone's time, that she could have done this all online and that he's had enough of her negative attitude... Seeing as how I spent so many hours with the terrible Level I support of both ATT and Verizon, this made this employees abusive behavior that much worse. Imagine having all these issues with online support and then to get berated by an employee speaking so loudly that half the store heard him. Honestly, I am just here waiting for a recession, for layoffs so that businesses can trim their worst 5-10% of employees because there are a lot of people getting paid who don't deserve jobs. read more

I cannot explain the amount of anger I am feeling as a result of my experience at this branch. The rep sold me a device (jet pack) and did not explain any of the terms or conditions. I was told another line would not be added to my account and that I could cancel at any time. Again, that only my data would be used, and that I could simply, just not use the device. Billing charges immediately increased and then when I tried to cancel the rep informed me that there was an early termination fee of $175. Unbelievable....I will be moving my entire account. This sales rep was unapologetic, smug, and sarcastic. I have been a Verizon customer with 4 lines for 15 years and when asked if it was worth loosing the revenue over a one time charge she responded with another snide comment. Words will not express the amount of extreme disappoint I feel in the cell phone provider I have had for over a decade. Had a few things in the past that made me think negative about the store but am very happy I gave a second chance because they all went above and beyond to help me. Even helped my mom learn how to work her first apple product ever! Helped back up a historic phone for her. Then when the customer service on a third occasion was so great! I finally decided to switch to Verizon they helped me again and gave me the heads up on when to do it and how to get the most value. I did it I switched from a provider who's service didn't even work at home for years and was more expensive. To Verizon I actually do have a better phone got one then got $800 + off the second phone. The absolute worst customer service I have ever had. My phone stopped working for no apparent reason. I was sent to 3 stores. The SIM card was replaced but the phone still didn't work. I was then referred to tech support. This took four separate calls, each time being placed on hold for up to an hour each time. While they couldn't solve the problem they wasted most of the dialog time trying to upsell me on additional services. On the second day tech support forgot to return the scheduled appointment call. I was forced to recall them. Eventually after being on hold for an hour I got to speak to an actual person. While transferring the call they disconnected me. I would recommend that if the problem cannot be solved in their store avoid wasting your time with tech support. You will save time by just replacing the phone. read more
