Happy with my S26 but the new Ultra watch 2 was coming out in about a month so I decided to return the watch unopened never been touched. It's been 3 days since purchase. I went to the store to return and a Manager Ivan recalls my conversation on the phone with him and said I thought I told you we need to charge you a stocking fee? I said T-Mobile on the phone wants to speak with you that I'm well within my right not to get charged for a restocking fee. Ivan adamant that he was going to charge me a restocking fee no matter what. I was on hold with corporate and again a second rep says no that's not true you are not going to be charged a restocking fee asked to have him on line. I had her on hold for the manager to speak with them and can you believe it Ivan sneaks out of the store. The rest of the employees say they cannot do anything. This is 3 days after purchase. T-Mobile corporate on the phone was nice to send me a shipping label to ship back the watch without a charge. I still have 2 watches to purchase, a tablet and a MaxPro phone for the wifey yet that didn't matter for the Little guy Ivan. It was more important that he collects his $75 restocking fee. The experience on the phone with T-Mobile was much better than going to the store waiting almost two hours as if you're trying to buy a car. Some sales guy start telling me "uhh well it's says it on the paperwork that you will be charged a restocking fee" Absolutely nothing was disclosed during purchase and at then I realized these guys can be manipulative after the sale! Word of advice go to the store check out the products, touch feel and ask questions but you don't need to purchase your phone there. These vultures are paid a commission and looking for any way to nickel and dime you. I called T-Mobile 3 times and all were hassle free happy to help and could not believe the conduct of this store. Besides why wait 2 hours when you can be in the comfort of your home and get all the answers by calling T-Mobile corporate. Just purchased the wifey her new upgrade MaxPro and I got my new Galaxy Tablet. We both received them the next day. I thank IIvan for no longer needing to go in the store for a far better experience!

This is a tough review to write because until yesterday, I trusted Gadgetmates--especially…read moreJonas--completely. I've recommended them, defended them, and even did so in-store less than 24 hours before this went sideways. Then it fell apart. I dropped off my laptop at 2:30 p.m. for what I was told was a simple job: remove a RAID controller, copy data, and install a second SSD. I was promised it was "easy," that data transfer was the only real step, and that I'd have it back by 2 p.m. the next day. I was signed up for text updates--none came. At 5:45 p.m. that same day, I called to check in. I was told the transfer was "60-70% done." Two other people heard that call. The next day was a string of delays, missed calls, and vague updates. By 4:30 p.m.--well past the promised deadline--I finally learned the truth: no data had been transferred, no work had been done, and the laptop hadn't even been turned on. (Alienware logs don't lie.) Then came the real problem: Jonas. Instead of owning the failure, he pivoted to condescension and denial--telling me I "don't understand RAID," insisting no one promised a next-day turnaround, claiming my SSD was defective (it isn't), and denying statements multiple people heard firsthand. In short, the story changed, the facts didn't, and I was treated like the problem. Meanwhile, I can't get anyone to tell me my data was safe; I was panicking as any normal person would. I have backups, scattered across several drives and will take days to recover to 90% of what was on the laptop. I got the laptop back around 5 p.m., untouched until 3:30 that afternoon--hours after I was told work was already mostly complete. How do I know this? Because every powerup, every keystroke is logged by the laptop's security system. See shots below: One can see exactly when it was plugged in. Mistakes happen. I can deal with delays and mistakes. We're all human. What I don't tolerate is being misled, talked down to, and effectively called a liar when there's clear evidence otherwise, indicating precisely who did what and when. Curious isn't it, how some business project their own failings onto others, rather than just honestly owning the problem and making it right? That's how I manage my clients, anyway. Explain the failure, offer a solution, make it right, and everybody stays friendly. I'd never consider insulting a client; it cost a lot to gain them, and it's easily 30X more costly to lose one. Clients share experiences. Here, and elsewhere. And people trust those shares of personal experiences. shared on review sites. As I'll do on every review site I can find after the insults tossed at me. What a shame; my most trusted go-to gone means now finding their replacement.

Maybe a good phone carrier--Not a good store…read more The day I went into this store was to pick up a replacement iPhone that my phone insurance sent to this store rather than to my residence. It was inconvenient--I was not interested in buying anything. So, I went first thing in the morning and arrived before they opened their door. I went inside when they opened but they mysteriously had 3 customers ahead of me. Told me to wait 30 minutes and that they put me in the cue. The store is small and smells terrible from the grocery store next store one wall over. It also wasn't very clean or fresh air for being opened for no minutes. I looked around and took some pictures. Then, I went to wait in my air conditioned car--it's still 100 degrees outside I am hopeful they'll call me soon. But unfortunately... 40 minutes later they still told me to wait a bit longer. I go back to my car. An hour and a half later they tell me they're sorry they still haven't gotten to my turn. Pathetic customer service. They were not sorry. They were helping others that had just come in verses calling me for my turn. Again--I only needed to pick up the replacement phone and transfer everything over they refused to just go in the back and get it for me. They failed all together. I told them to send the phone back and I'd call customer support. Just horrible experience. This location is on Silverado Ranch at Bermuda behind Dunkin Donuts.
