Verizon is a necessary evil. We came in to replace one of our phones, that, to be honest, had a good long life. The salesperson, although not very interested, did point in to a phone that met our criteria, and the entire purchase took about an hour. Prices are what one would expect when dealing with Verizon. After double checking the final receipt, it seems like he added on a screen protector and a charger, even though I specifically said I only want to but the phone, no accessories. :-( read more

The employee in the store never even looked up to greet me. As soon as I told him I had a problem, the gig was up...no sales, no help. All he did was call several departments and they were no help. I have never had better service from any employee of any company eve! Tony is so knowledgeable and professional and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is right. He explains things so that I can understand and use my products without difficult. I got a new iPhone and a new large streaming TV which are both new to me and I felt that the learning curve was quite steep. Worst experience ever. Brought my 75 yr old mom in to change her phone and plan and Ian couldn't be bothered. Very rude, even answered a random cell phone call in the middle of a conversation with no apology. Avoid this place no matter what. Of If I could give home negative review I would. Went to the store today for repair on my daughters phone. Was not fixable but said I could get a new phone told me it would be $273 to get the new phone and that was for Taxes. When I got home, I found out they had charged me an extra $111 for a screen protector (a flimsy piece of plastic that pulled off) and a charger. In addition they told me it would be $2.76 a month for 36 months and the phone was free. I called Verizon and found out I will owe $840 for the phone. A few weeks earlier, my father-in-law was in the store for a new phone and they upgraded his plan without telling him to an international plan. He later discovered this and contacted Verizon and said because this is a third-party store they could not do anything to refund him. Stay away!!! read more

I went to Verizon at 9:15am this morning (they open at 9am) and the door was locked. I looked inside and there was a guy helping a woman. He got up and unlocked the door and didn't say one word to me. Not "good morning" "I'll be right with you" "just finishing up with this customer" "what brings you in today" NOTHING. Just opened the door turned back around and went back to the other customer. I waited for another 5 minutes and wasn't acknowledged a single time. It wasn't the waiting that bothered me it was the fact I wasn't acknowledged. I was treated like I was invisible. I walked out and went to another Verizon location today in palmetto and had the best experience ever. The salesperson was so helpful and kind. I purchased 4 brand new iPhone and switched my entire family from AT&T to Verizon. Unfortunately the state road 70 location and guy who was working did not get my business from the lack of customer service and kindness he showed. Hopefully this will be a learning lesson to acknowledge every customer who walks through your door, for have no idea what they could be coming in for. read more

What a bunch of jerks! I just switched my business accounts to Verizon and had trouble with one of the lines. After calling 611, I was told that I needed to go into a store to verify my phone. So I made an appointment. The tech in the store pushed buttons on my phone for 2 minutes, then she told me I needed to download an app and do it myself. So glad I made the trip into the store!! So I decided to call 611 again while I was in the store in case they needed something verified. The tech on the 611 call asked me if there was another phone number to call me back on, so I asked the guy behind the counter and he acted as though I was bothering him, but he gave me the phone number anyway and then he walked away. The first girl who helped me had already left the building to go pick up her Starbucks next door. Clearly more important than helping the customer standing there! When the 611 tech called the store, NO ONE ANSWERED IT!!! WTF is going on with customer service?? There were 5 employees and NO other customers in the store, but they could not be bothered to help me. Verizon customer service sucks and I'm regretting moving my business accounts!!! Don't ever go to this store looking for anything more than a phone case!!! The staff is clearly inept of anything more! read more

HORRIBLE. I ordered a phone upgrade for my husband the end of December. Said it would be available first week of Jan. We were going to get a $800 off promo for his phone trade in. Never heard anything. Called the second week of Jan, couldn't get a hold of the store. Finally talked to an operator for Go Wireless (???) who said she could see the order but it didn't have tracking info. Ok... she said to check back. Just called today, 1/31/22 and the store said the order was cancelled because no one came to get the phone. I said what are you talking about? I called 2 weeks ago for an update? He said ya I don't know and we aren't offering that promotion anymore. Don't ever go here!!!! read more

I've been into this Verizon Store several times. Each time I visit, I have excellent customer service. Today, Rodney waited on my daughter and I. Let me just say, this man is hands down the BEST Verizon employee I have ever met. He was extremely intelligent, knew each product, was helpful and has great people skills. We visited this store today to upgrade our phones. There was only one guy working the counter and he was helping a customer. He did greet us within 10 seconds of entering the store. We understood they were probably understaffed so waited. As a previous retail chain store manager, I know the importance of store appearance and how it leaves a lasting impression. This store looked trashed as if they were broken in the night before and someone stole all their phones. Not one iPhone out on display. The only working display was the Samsung kiosk tucked in the front corner.we waited about 20 minutes, then another customer walked in after us. That customer approached the consultant and he immediately started helping her. Totally ignored us and no acknowledgement if we had any buying interest. We walked out after the consultant started helping the other customer. read more

This is the best Verizon store we've found here in the Suncoast. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They have iPhones on display to look at (unlike some other stores) and they have most items in stock. Adam even recommended a nice case for my android I got last fall from a different location as the one I was sold is not a good protection for it. I highly recommend this location for your Verizon needs - and if you don't have Verizon you should switch! We did 4 years ago and they're the best network! read more
