I would go to Loritech starting back 10 years ago. Wonderful service. Had not been in awhile. Jack came to my house. Was touching everything in my office. Getting into my letter holder, my baskets on desk...everything. He came to clean my computer. Well, when he left I have no micro phone in my computer now, which is a necessity . I had wanted a better microphone, so he recommended an external...which does work great. But when I went to go into my Zoom meeting the day after he left, there is no audio for the other side to hear me. I plug in the external and audio is there. I went back to Loritech and the gentleman there said I never had a mic. Well, that is kind of weird, that I have been using that mic for my Zoom for the past two years, and now it's disappeared. Jack showed up on time, it was downhill from there. The task was to recover emails from gmail folders which had disappeared. He had no idea what to do for the two hours that he was here and spent most of the time reading the account (which I had done), or calling the office for help. To no avail. When he left I was no further along then when he started, except for the 2 hrs.of my life I'll never get back! There is no way I can recommend this service especially when they said recovery would be no problem. read more

Proceed with caution. I brought my very old Dell laptop to be checked over in case there was any way to upgrade the inside since it is on an XP operating system from 2006. I brought my external backup hard drive to assist with the backup. First concern for me, I wrote my contact information on a slip, but when I walked out the door, I was not given a copy of the work order, nor any contact information. This was a Thursday and I was told no one would contact me until probably Tuesday, due to their current workload. The estimate to review my laptop, $35.00. Okay that sounded okay. Here's the thing, when I left, I got nothing in my hand proving that I dropped off my computer and backup. So I went back in, got a business card and confirmed the name of the guy who assisted me. This did not ease my feelings much, but this place has been here a really long time. Tuesday came and went, no call. Wednesday came and went, no call. I decided to call on Thursday, and was told that my computer was too old to do anything with it. To come pick it up and that the backup was done. By the way, the backup that I had done, not them. I arrive to pickup my computer and external hard drive, and I find they are all tagged with a laser jet label with their information. Why would you place a non-removable label on anyone's personal property? I asked them to remove these labels from my equipment. They did, while I waited. All of a sudden, the cost goes from $35 to $40.00 by the same technician that had quoted me $35. I wondered what the extra $5 was for, but honestly this place gave me the creeps, and I just wanted to get out of there. I honestly think these reviews were from another era. I know I will not go here nor recommend anyone to leave their computers here. read more

Had a keyboard problem with my Dell Laptop, called LoriTech for an estimate which was given over the phone. I liked the price $70 plus tax. I brought it over so they could inspect it, (they wanted to see if they could fix the one key I was having trouble with and save me time and money. They tried but I indeed needed a new keyboard). They said they could install it the same day if I dropped it off in the morning. Once it was in stock I did, it was ready just after lunch, good as new, no surprises. They did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. I've had lots of tech support over the years, it doesn't always work out this way. I highly recommend LoriTech. read more

Loritech saved me from a disaster. I had a major laptop failure, hadn't backed up my system for 4 months, and was at risk of losing valuable information. Lori was able to retrieve the data from my dead laptop and transfer to my new machine. She took the time to go over the transfer with me to ensure file integrity and complete transfer of information.
