    The service here is terrible. VERY slow! I am only here to drop off equipment and I've been sitting here waiting. Ridiculous!

I had a new Z-Fold phone where the left half of the screen went solid green. They arranged for a replacement after significant paperwork. It took a week for the new phone to arrive. And IT went belly up in two days! But I went to the internet first, instead of Verizon, where I was advised by some helpful poster to RESET everything and AVOID 'enhanced' settings. Did so and problems disappeared and have not returned. AI is highly overrated! Be VERY careful allowing the phone to 'think' for you. All the fancy 'adaptive' options are VERY unreliable. AND most of the staff in the stores are just not up to the challenge. BUT WORSE, Verizon 5G is just not there! And neither are ANY of the other vendors, except in densely populated areas! They SELL 5G service but it just isn't there! They SELL 5G 'home internet' but it isn't there! Their nearest 5G service is not close enough to reach with the phone or the 'home internet router'! Lots of 4 and 3G, even 2G! No 5G! In my area, ALL 5G is T-Mobile and concentrated around the local interstate highway! NO VERIZON 5G, even though they SELL it. Maybe in another year or two or three or 2030? 5G is HIGHLY overrated! It is great when you can get it. But don't hold your breath!

I upgraded my daughter's phone who is serving in the military overseas so she cannot get it herself and no one explained to me that the SIM would be locked and she could not use the phone for at least 90 days! I have been paying the bill for a year and a half just so that she can keep and use that number while she is overseas. She uses an overseas SIM card so that her local calls don't cost an arm and a leg. She has been unable to use the phone and Gerald was very rude about the whole thing. If Verizon can unlock the SIM at 90 days, they can unlock it at 30 days. He also would not guarantee me that it would even be unlocked after 90 days or if I paid off the phone in full. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. It is ridiculous that I have to pay for a phone and my daughter can't even use it. You should consider some additional customer service training for management.

The fact that someone is impressed that a Verizon CSR transferred the data from one phone to another sounded great until you hear that Verizon charged them for that service! That's ridiculous! It's also nice to hear that another person empathized that customer service jobs are hard, if that was a real review. The other good review I saw was a person who was purchasing a few things and the CSR was helpful with that process.... of course, let's keep that commission rolling in. There were so many bad experiences and I truly hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to one up any of them, because all of those experiences are horrible and deserve to be told and read. Here is my experience which is so difficult and disgusting to tell still upsets me. Today started with me looking for any Verizon store to visit other than Cortez Rd and 14th Street. After being there with my husband and kids for hours to open a 5 cellphone business account, in-car wifi, house & business wifi, as well as home & business landlines. I was then told it was taking a long time due to their computer issues. I was then told they couldn't set up a business account for me, even though my business was verified through my sunbiz.org account. I was then told by the manager (I don't remember his name, but I remember that he had tattoos, because we were complimenting each other's tattoos when I first arrived), if we couldn't finish in 10 minutes I would have to return the next day because it was closing time, even though we had been there for over 3 hours. Due to the stress of that, my husband noticed signs from me that an epileptic seizure was coming on. Seeing as it was 8:01pm my husband was told that if he went outside to get my rescue medicine, they wouldn't let him back in with it. OR... I could go outside alone walking on the concrete and hope that I would successfully navigate around the concrete parking bumpers without having a seizure and/or serious injury. So obviously we left and I due to the extreme stress, I had a seizure in the car. Then, 2 days later we went to Verizon in Sarasota. We thought that we had a great experience there, and though it wasn't great, it was good. However, I never got a lot of the features that I was told I was getting. It's very sad. You guys are the McDonald's of cell phone companies, you can have the worst customer service, charge a lot, and not care about the hard earned money that your customer's give you, because no matter how many customers and respect you lose or how many people you upset. It will never be important enough to you or enough customers to put you out of business. That's why you will never change or follow through with your empty promises. Hopefully, Yelp is correct and I will find a. CSR in Palmetto who will actually care and help.

    I am SO frustrated with Verizon FIOS right now. First of all, the technicians you try to talk with…read morewhen calling support have very poor English. It was VERY difficult to understand any of their tech support. That is very frustrating. I had to call several times to finally talk to someone who somewhat understood what I was trying to say. Next, the tech who ended up coming to our house today was VERY nice BUT, he was flustered because he had to do a lot of work to make FIOS work again. I don't blame him for being flustered about that though, if the first tech who was here to hook everything up would have done it properly, he wouldn't have had to come out to fix everything - the problem was however, he forgot to hook our bedroom TV cables back up in the attic. I've paid for 2 On Demand movies, HD Movies weren't working so was out that money, now the TV in the bedroom isn't working at all - it's been a couple weeks now that I have had problems, paying a WHOPPING bill with service that's not working and tech service that quite frankly sucks. If I had another choice for cable optic service, I would take it in a heartbeat. I tried taking on Verizon chat to have the tech come back out to the house (he forgot to leave his business card) but they said I could be charged for the visit - because of their mistake!!

    Within a company FULL of corruption, my Fios assistant (whom I dealt with over the phone, and who's…read morename I have unfortunately forgotten) accepted my DVR return which, by his account, is the first in his decade of working there by mail from Texas. His service was outstanding and saved me the $1000+ dollars that Verizon was arguably trying to force me into paying by giving me absolutely no way of sending my equipment back after failing to send a shipping label. Sending my DVR via FedEx was my Hail Mary and it worked miraculously. I won't re-sign with Verizon due to the awful exported customer service but because of the in-house Floridian service representative, I will hold myself back from slandering their name.
