The local folks were very professional and helpful, at least as well as they could be given the corporate support, or lack of it. I had a new Z-Fold phone where the left half of the screen went solid green. They arranged for a replacement after significant paperwork. It took a week for the new phone to arrive. And IT went belly up in two days! But I went to the internet first, instead of Verizon, where I was advised by some helpful poster to RESET everything and AVOID 'enhanced' settings. Did so and problems disappeared and have not returned. AI is highly overrated! Be VERY careful allowing the phone to 'think' for you. All the fancy 'adaptive' options are VERY unreliable. AND most of the staff in the stores are just not up to the challenge. BUT WORSE, Verizon 5G is just not there! And neither are ANY of the other vendors, except in densely populated areas! They SELL 5G service but it just isn't there! They SELL 5G 'home internet' but it isn't there! Their nearest 5G service is not close enough to reach with the phone or the 'home internet router'! Lots of 4 and 3G, even 2G! No 5G! In my area, ALL 5G is T-Mobile and concentrated around the local interstate highway! NO VERIZON 5G, even though they SELL it. Maybe in another year or two or three or 2030? 5G is HIGHLY overrated! It is great when you can get it. But don't hold your breath! read more

Literally the worst Verizon store. Avoid this store at all costs. If anything they go out of their way to make your life harder.. months later you will realize .. and then when you go there or call for help they will deny what they did or not talk to you at all ! They will just ignore you and say you're making stuff up. I wish there was a no star option of how bad this place Is. I had such a great experience at Verizon this week. I had issues with my phone due to identity theft. Beverly was able to help fix a lot of our issues. Not only did she help us while we were in the store, but she followed up with us the next day to make sure that we didn't have any more questions or issues. Had a problem with my new iPhone purchased in December. I could not receive incoming telephone calls. The service technicians at Verizon were awesome. They fixed the problem within minutes. It seems that my phone was forwarding my calls to a number that I was unfamiliar with. It was a shock to me. I cannot say enough positive things about their service. read more

03.21 I'd give this store a fat ZERO if I can. Came in to upgrade phone and add a line. I was put on queue. Was told 4 people ahead of me, wait will take roughly 2 hours. Told the guy I will be 5 min away shopping. Also received a text stating they will call when only 1 person ahead of me. 1.5 hours later I get a call from a Virginia Beach number. I ignored call, lots of scammer lately, didn't leave a message so I thought the call was indeed a scam. I parked up front, waited another 50 minutes. I go in, was told they called and I was removed from list since I didn't answer. We argued that he didn't leave a message, how would I know it was Verizon and not a scammer calling? You didn't text either but did when putting me on list. Why could you not contact me via text? Well umm, picking nose... we only call. Obviously your process does not work. That's why we want you to stay and wait in the store. FOR 2 HOURS? Yes! HELLZ NO! I was livid, to compensate... If I wanted he will put me back on list but I will be 8th on queue. Um no, I already wasted 2.5 hours of my birthday for nothing. Apparently, I was not the only person seething. Another guy was cussing at the manager as he was walking out. An elderly couple was next to us upset about something too, I'm assuming being dropped off the list for not picking up the call either. I officially hate Verizon. Went to the store yesterday to buy a phone. Had to sign up and wait for almost 45 minutes for the pleasure to give them $1398. Was told Phone was all set to go and should work just fine. Left the store before attempting to turn phone on, my bad. I should have learned from my past experiences; nothing ever works well at Verizon. I needed a new watch (mine refused to take a charge). I went in to the store and was helped by Ugur Karabiyik. Ugur showed me my choices for watches and then explained the promotions going on. I ended up with a new phone, watch, and ipad. Ugur set all three devices up for me. He was fun to talk with, very professional and helpful, and explained everything to me. I came in today to open a new mobile acct & purchase a new iPad & was told they were too busy @ 530pm, store closes @ 6 & that I should come back another day! I understand stores are busy, but they truly don't care about their customers! The gal acted as if I was an inconvenience for bothering her! She stood around with her iPad in hand doing absolutely nothing, making no effort to wait on me as I stood in the front corridor waiting patiently, finally I approached her mid-store, clearly she wasn't willing to come forward to check on my needs! WORST customer service ever! I was talked into buying a water proof case that was $100 and was super excited about it. That was until I realized nobody can hear you through the case. I went into the store, explained what had happened and if I could exchange or get a store credit. The general manager was extremely unprofessional, rude, short with his answers, and was not willing to work with me. He gave a hard no and sent me on my way with a $100 Phone case I can't use. All he said was we have a 14 day policy and nobody else has complained about that case. In today's retail world I'm shocked at the lack of customer service this general manager provided. This is not a way to run a business where repeat and loyal customer should be valued. Highly disappointed and will be using a different retailer when it comes to phone accessories. Hello! My Wife and I went into this Store to ask a few simple questions about my current plan and possible changes. There was a long wait time and lack of interest in wanting to help resolve our issue. Manager Pawned us off to the 1-800 number... Thus far, we have received contradicting information in regards to fees for disconnect and/or upgrade of existing service from 4 different Verizon Representatives. Spent 2+ hours on the phone tonight with a young lady who was very helpful until we tried to close the deal. She advised there would be a $100 charge to opt out of contract. Informed her that a Verizon Representative told me last week that I could opt out of the contract for $75, ride it out for $60 or upgrade to a new device at no charge. She placed me on hold several times trying to get approval to eliminate fee. After 1 hr and 45 minutes of working with her, I was blind transferred (believe by mistake) to a different Representative whom I had to re-explain the whole situation. As of now, there is still no resolve. Have been a Loyal Customer for approximately 20 years... Considering jumping ship to try a different Carrier as I am no longer happy with the Customer Service provided. read more

As stated, I'd write an update: I found out that the BVE's name is "Tim." Hopefully, that's his name, but that's what one of the Verizon employees (Cattleman/University-a few stores from Chipotle) told me on 06/11/2020. I went to Verizon to cancel EVERYTHING I had with them: 2 phone lines & iPad tablet. In addition, I called Verizon & told them about "Tim" (again, he's bald & about 5'7). I also emailed the Verizon corporate offices, per their request & my lawyer's drafting a letter. This is ALL over a password reset question. BVE would NOT help me AND my 8 year old daughter (who gets straight A's in school). Fortunately, I found 2 great employees at Sprint on Lockwood Ridge & University (Ian and Ozan). The only reason I'm leaving Verizon is, in fact, because of "Tim." I've never had a bad experience, except for that idiot. Hopefully, Verizon fires this rocket scientist. If not, maybe Tim will think twice before he runs his millennial mouth...but probably not, poor parenting it seems. read more

I have been here a handful of times and each time I have had a great experience. Sometimes there is a wait when it's super busy however there are a ton of workers. You are able to make an appointment and they give you a 10 minute window of time. The last couple times I have been in I was able to be helped immediately and was in and out of the store. read more

I'm so over this store and verizon. They act like car salesmen now. Nobody there cares about the customer. It is all about making money. They are pushy and this is the second time I have bought a phone from them that has broken within a week. I'm partly to blame for not looking into the phone they were pushing more. RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION LIKE BEARS ARE CHASING YOU!! This place is a joke and my issue has been going on for 6 months. I have a business phone. My husband (who has nothing to do with my business) was added on as a second line. We upgraded our phones in December 2021. Somehow, the person at the store kicked me out of my account and put my husband on as the sole administrator. Now I, the business owner, can't see any of my account information nor pay my bill without calling in and giving details over the phone. I have spoken to NUMEROUS people, including the manager of the store, for over 6 months, and the issue has only gotten worse (now my husband doesn't have access either). When speaking to the store manager, he literally threw an adult temper tantrum and stormed off and hid in the back room (no exaggeration here folks, it was quite the impressive show of emotions). There were several witnesses to this crazy man's epic show--all I wanted was my account fixed and he wasn't willing to even look at it "because I was not the administrator" (even though I was a week prior, before someone screwed up my account). No one has been helpful, no one can figure out the issue, and I will never go back to this place again. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Not all Verizon stores are created equally. If the words "Verizon Retailer" appear below their sign then they are not a direct Verizon store. I have been to this location many times over several years and have never had a bad experience. I absolutely love working with Amy and will gladly wait for her if she's helping another customer. She helps me with what I need, doesn't waste my time with fluff, and most importantly she goes above and beyond to make sure I don't pay too much for anything. I would highly recommend working with her for any of your mobile needs. Also, that nerdy guy in the glasses is a liar. Sprint sucks. read more

I was pleasantly surprised, given the poor service I had experienced in other Verizon stores, at the prompt and expert service I received here. There was no waiting, and the knowledgeable young man (Justin?) patiently led me through the steps to activate my new i-phone. I had received this phone as a replacement for one in which the battery suddenly failed, and the instructions that came with the new phone were unintelligible. So, i went in to cancel my deceased wifes phone from our account....since i was considered not authorized they canceled my acct and opened a new one. This required a credit check, a utility bill(i had to go back home for this). Drivers license 4 times, a phone call to the credit company. All in all about 3 hours. The person i worked with was a little lost in all of this and struggled thru it, thats fine we were all new once. But he asked an experienced person for help, she told him something and went back to shooting the breeze with her coworkers. The staff in this store is wonderful. I can't say the same about the 800 customer service line, but this store was amazing with helping me with a recent issue I had with my Apple Watch. Antonio (store manager) is always very polite each and every time I've visited this store. I truly appreciate everything he has done to resolve my recent issues. Samantha, Lauren and Chris are also a few others who have gone above and beyond. The employees in this store definitely are there to be sure their customers are happy. Great job everyone!!! This store doesn't even deserve 1 star. Never go in and deal with an associate named Marcelo Del Pozo, he will lie and give false information to make his sale and then act like it is your fault when you go in and try to fix everything he screwed up. I went in a week before I could upgrade, something I never had a problem with when I did my upgrades online, when I told him I would come back when it was time, he told me to wait and he would talk to his manager. Every time I tried to leave, he threw in something "free" except it turns out nothing was free and when I thought I was paying for my phone, I really paying for those free things and he put me in the edge program against my wishes. He also would not print out a paper receipt with all the charges because he claimed he 'wasn't able to do that' and wouldn't take the time to let me read through the contract on his tablet because he was on overtime and needed to go. He is a liar and crook who deserves to be fired but instead will just receive a "talking to" but be allowed to continue to lie to customers. He is also rude and laughed when I got upset about being lied to. read more
