Ordered two iPhone 11 Pro Max, and never got a call that they arrived. Finally called to find out if I am supposed to just show up at the store when my Verizon account shows they've arrived at the store. My Verizon account showed they arrived on 6MAY, and today is 10 MAY. Spoke to the young lady (Nome deliberately omitted) at 4:42PM on a Sunday. She stated the phones did arrive, and apologized for someone not calling. I asked what time her store closed and she said "5PM". I let her know I only live ONE MILE from the store and that I would be there momentarily. I arrived at the store at 4:55PM (EXACTLY), and the front door was locked. I knocked twice and tried to call twice. WTF!?!?!? Who does that!?!? How about, "Don, don't bother coming in because we are going to close earlier than the time I JUST TOLD YOU" ! I get the fact that good customer service is a thing of the past, and that no one really cares about the customer anymore. I guess I figured that spending $2600 on phones might bode a little bit of consideration. I already let her know in a previous conversation that we were just PICKING UP THE PHONES, and we would SET THEM UP OURSELVES. Ridiculous! Save yourself time and effort and go somewhere else. In two visits, I spent combined over 45 minutes waiting for assistance. They are simply short staffed, and when I commented on how it always seems that there is only one person staffing the store, the Manager's reply was, "that's just the way the owners run things." And they supposedly have more retail locations?? It's obvious that this store is a franchise and not run by corporate because the staffing alone is lacking at least 2-3 more people, doesn't matter how slow it is on the weekdays. You can't have people waiting over 20 minutes in 2 random occasions while stopping into pay a simple cell bill. Verizon as a carrier makes a bad name for themselves by allowing some proprietor, with a little bit of money to invest, burn their name by allowing a location to run on such a low standard. read more

I went in to the store to get some information on the new Samsung Galaxy 8 after having the worst customer service at the Tustin Marketplace store. I was immediately greeting by Jae who was unbelievable polite and knowledgeable and very patient with all my questions. After talking with him I was ready to upgrade. As promised two days later I got my call my phone was here!! I came in and Jae help setup my phone showed me how it works and even provided recommendations on the best accessories and ways to save some money by purchasing the GoAdvantage program. I have to give this store 1 star. Being a Happy Verizon customer for years, I visited the store many times in last 4 years, I had good experience before. But this time the staff are all new faces and my visit was a nightmare. The staff and manager are unprofessional, inexperienced and rude. They recommended a JBL earphone for my Ipone 6+ and turned out it does not worked very well. When making a call I can't hear my own voice very well, and what I hear is a lot like the sound when you plug your own ears. It is very annoying.Because I lost the original box, they refused to replace with a new set and kept denying there is something wrong with earphone. I ended up have to call Verizon customer service twice and they sent me a new Apple earphone as replacement. I recommended to think 5 minutes before you decide go to this store. I heard they are independent service provider now. Even Verizon customer service called them, they refused to take any action to solve the customer's problem. I felt they do not care about if the customer is happy or not, all they tried to do is to sell you something. read more

I have never before written a review - but after our two experiences with this Verizon retailer, I felt I must. Both times the staff - Jacob - Bryan - Ahmed -went completely out of their way to help us. The degree of customer service we received went above and beyond our expectations. Jason took the time to explain everything about the phones, calling plans - recommended a plan that would let us have more data & still SAVE $$$$$. Ahmed spent a great deal of time transferring all our data, pictures, setting up our son's new tablet - all the while, answering all our questions, and explaining all the nuances of the new devices . (May I also add that Ahmed stayed after the store closed at 8:00 pm - to help us - so that our son would not have to return the next day.) Our family would give this Verizon store 10 stars, if that rating was available. Not only will we return here - but we are telling all our neighbors & friends to shop there, also. Dealing with phone issues can be very frustrating and time consuming, but when I went in to this store with some phone hardware troubles, and was helped by Jordan Fraser. He was attentive and not only able to help with the phone issue, but went WAY above in beyond in making me feel welcome and secure that I made the right choice of wireless store. Good service is very important to me, and I really was glad I chose this "go wireless" location. my first yelp review because I feel compelled to post it Talked to Ahmed about my phone upgrade last week and he is very friendly and helpful. Today I completed my upgrade process and Jordan is the one who helped me and he is very friendly and helpful as well. My story: I have grandfathered unlimited data plan with Verizon and I am so afraid of losing it that I still use my 4/5 year old dinosaur phone. I finally decide to upgrade, but unfortunately, my dinosaur phone uses mini SIM while all new/newer phone today's require micro or nano SIM. I heard people losing unlimited even they just want to change the SIM card and they did not use any loop holes and paid full price for their new phone. Not a problem with Jordan. He actually did this for his own Verizon phone (phone upgrade + new SIM activation) so he knows the drill and he understands my situation fully. The new phone's battery is dead so he had to charge it a little bit while waiting to finish the activation process. He waited patiently and we had some small chat, answered all my questions. When the upgrade/activation is done (and I did not lose my unlimited plan), he offered to let the phone charge a little bit more and I could run some errands nearby and come pick it up later. Even though they did not make money off me since I brought in my own phone to upgrade/activate, they still provide excellent customer service. It is really a good experience for me so I don't understand why there are negative reviews. Look for Ahmed (a guy with a beard/glasses) or Jordan (the younger looking one) if you want excellent service. read more

I really don't understand the bad reviews previous to my posting. Maybe things used to be like the other yelpers posted, but every time I have been in this store a have had a craving to come back. Never in my life have I ever experienced better Verizon customer experience than with these guys. They really know there stuff. They stay up and current with all the latest and greatest and always give me the inside edge. All the other Verizon stores (including the corporate store especially) have left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for Verizon. These guys (Jacob and Justin) are the only reason I have decided to stay with Verizon and should be credited with that. Justin's customer ability reaches far beyond any of the "Jocks" from other stores lack of whatever it takes to keep me satisfied with my experience. Seriously. I went in the main Verizon store at Spectrum and the guy there (who I later found out is in management) was a total @$$^0le to me and my wife. I wanted to leave Verizon network so bad, but after I ventured into this store just to ask a question about switching a phone (mainly because it's on my way to Trader Joe's and conveniently in my neighborhood), my outlook was totally turned around. These guys know there stuff and are so nice and such a refreshing pleasure to deal with. They know the in's and out's of how to get the best experience possible with Verizon, with all the stuff the main Verizon stores wont tell you because the other ones are always out to screw you over, not these guys.I really don't understand the older posts. Maybe they are from people who haven't had the Verizon experience from other stores and have nothing to compare to, or don't know a good thing when it stare's them right in the face. I lived in London for a year, and the phone and wireless network is so much more affordable there, so when I came back with the knowledge that things might be more expensive in America (on all the networks), a store with employees (good employees) like this one sure do help to cut the blow. I like this store, and I really like the quality of service and knowledge of product that they have here. If there was a time in America's golden years where customer service was a way of life, these guys resemble that the most. I am proud to know that there are Youth in America like these guys living and working here. I fine example of human interaction and duty that give me hope in our growing culture. read more

We walked into the store and were greeted by a salesman who was very pleasant. They had one i phone 6 plus and we were on our way. John Jacob and Brandt were awesome!!! We were switching from another provider to Verizon. We had to move 4 phones over and the whole process took about 1.5 hours. They streamlined the whole process. We bought headsets,cases, and got an awesome family plan. They offered a bunch of great discounts and seemed really happy doing their jobs. They even gave my wife some advice about how to import her i tunes library to her new HTC phone . We got out paying less than I ever did at AT and you know . Ive been a Verizon customer since 2004 and prefer this store to others. This time I got a new galaxy phone and had an issue with it. Danny was so polite and patient dealing with damaged phone (how often that happens? But it happened to me) I came back in 2 days to ask a few questions and put protecting cover on it. This time Danny was off, so Ahmed helped me. I'm super happy with my experience at this location. John, the assistant manager, was a HUGE help! Not only did I upgrade my phone but John noticed that my plan could be a lot better so he set us up with a plan that was more conducive for our usage.
