DO NOT believe what the store rep tells you about current promotions, check the website yourself. I was reassured by the store rep that Samsung had extended its promo for a free smartwatch or VR goggles with games when in store 3/19/16. Also that Verizon was still offering a special trade-in on any smartphone minimum of $100. The store manager Brandon had a "too bad, so sad" attitude, saying it was a Samsung promo, and he refused to honor what his sales person promised. On top of that, after not receiving my trade-in promo code for 10 days, I am again told, too bad, that promo ended 2 days before I purchased, even though I was told it was still in effect. So minus a $600 value for two smartwatches and $200 in trade-in value, I was given two VR goggles, but of course not that game bundle. read more

I started at a Verizon store in Surprise where I waited 20 minutes after being told there was a 10 minute wait. I still had one person ahead of me and an appointment to get to. After the appointment I headed to this location. While attempting to purchase a phone outright full price as a gift, I was told they could not sell a phone without activating it and no exceptions. Apparently I will have to find another gift or just not give my money to Verizon. I love the service apparently customer service is not up to par with their the service they provide. Not sure if I am paying retail price why I would be fixed to activate a phone. I suppose I can buy on the secondary market which provides Verizon 0 profit. Came into this verizon 2 weeks ago, it was time for an upgrade and I could not have gotten better service. The gentleman that helped me out was awesome! He was funny and very informative on the iPhone and products Verizon sold. He even convinced me to get the Apple Watch however he did forget to order his own lol. But when all said and done he made everything really easy. I was in and out before I knew it with an upgraded plan, a new iPhone and a Apple Watch on its way to my house. read more

I walk in with a phone that is crippled. I am talked into buying insurance, and wait until the next day to get a phone. The package arrives with phone labeled, "used, guaranteed as new." I go to the website to transfer the date from my crippled phone to the used phone, but must have WiFi. I admit am not Tech Savy. Instead of walking out with a NEW phone with my current data, I am now stuck with a crippled phone until Monday when I able to go to this location to get a NEW phone that I requested. Went to store today with my kids. My 4 year old daughter had to go potty. Was told we had to walk all the way to the container store to find a bathroom because the store does not "share" their facilities with customers because apparently it's next door in their storage room and someone robbed them. Pretty sure my 4 year old isn't going to rob anyone but just shows how verizon does business. How about send one of the 50 employees you have on staff over there if someone needs to use the bathroom instead of just telling people no? Especially kids! What a joke! I loath Verizon so much. They really screwed me as a consumer. It seems we sign our rights away on that 2yr contract on a "great" deal. Long story short, I was sold a bad device. I spent countless hrs going back and forth to Verizon to get it fixed. My screen malfunctioned, and they were going to charge me extra for insurance I am already paying?! The salesman and managers were no help at all. They had bad cocky attitudes and it seemed like they got a thrill over me being upset. I cannot wait until my contract is over with this company. To whom It May Concern: I pre-ordered 2 iPhone 5's for my business and was promissed on the 14th that they would be delivered to me no later than 9-21-2012 by the phone representative that took my order. I subsequently received an email stating that they would not be delivered until 9-26. I called and spoke with a representative regarding this who assured me that I would be receiving the phones on Friday the 21st. Yesterday evening I received an email stating that it would be the 26th or later and that you could not guarantee when I was recieving them. Today I called, spoke to one rep who could not verify anything other than that the phones had not shipped and would not be shipped today. I asked to speak to his supervisor who's only solution was to cancel the order. I asked to speak to his supervisior and was told he would take my number and someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I explained that this was not acceptable and to please transfer me to his supervisor. After 15 minutes of me asking to be transferred, him stating that he was not refusing to transfer but only offering to take my number and have someone contact me back, he said to hold he would transfer me. So far, I have been on hold for 43 minutes and 15 seconds as of the time that I am writing this. This is not acceptable. As a business custormer with Verizon Wireless for many years, I would think that you would have better customer service than this. This is the quickest way to loose a customer. So glad that you have more than you need so that you do not have to treat them courteously or honor your promisses. Had I known you were not going to honor your delivery promise, I would have simply gone through Apple's Business division. read more

We came in and the store was packed, I assumed we would be there a long time. We were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. We waited longer than that and watched children run around the store screaming and fighting. While we were there, we were watching the employees and how they were handing interactions with customers. We were helped by Sean, he was excellent. He was extremely professional, helping people much faster than others and very efficient. He made this experience quick and easy. While we were there he had already gotten a woman set up with a new Note and gotten my new Iphone set up with a new sim card in the time that the other 4 or 5 people on the floor were still working with the same person as they were when we came in about a half hour before. Being a customer for AT&T for over five years, I finally decided to upgrade my service. I scheduled the appointment online to transfer to this new service. The entire appointment went a little over an hour. The representative did not try to push new products on us, but he did mention them. Overall, I would highly recommend this location because of their customer service. read more

My boyfriend and I came in to get his SIM card switched over and ended up having a store associate ask us if we knew where to get pills, Specifically perc 30s. Who does that? The manager is rude and has horrible customer service skills. I went in there to get a simple screen protector replaced. Mind you to keep my $1000 phone from being broken and I had to wait 45 minutes for a 2 minute job. He proceeds to stand there and argue with me when I tell him having to wait for 45 minute for something that little is ridiculous. I understand other people were waiting but for things that took 20 mins + time, when he could of had it done in the time he was arguing and being a complete jerk. He was also just standing there "checking people in". I was also told, I could come back after the new year or go to best buy and spend money to have it placed... after having the worst experience over at Digitell in the mall, this place couldn't have been more helpful. James was able to help me right away, hardly a wait at all. I told him my woes, of not being able to return my defective iPhone 5c at Digitell in the mall (where I bought the phone). James helped me right away, ordered me a new phone and when the new phone wasn't in stock he was able to upgrade me to a 16gb from a 8gb. I had a wonderful experience at this store with the assistance from a young girl (I think her name was Tonya). This young girl finally fixed my problem after I went to five different Verizon stores over the last 4 months, with the same problem and being blown off each time when the guy makes a few clicks and says "your phone is fine. I went into this store to cancel my Verizon service and switch to another carrier. Tonya assured me the problem will be resolved. She took her time, removed the back cover, cleaned everything with alcohol wipes and discovered all I needed was a new sim card. My phone has been working great ever since. I was fortunate to get her assistance because she was knowledgeable, professionals and personable. read more

I purchased an apple IPhone XS from this location about a month ago and today I decided to use a gift card that I had and apply it towards the purchase of a new IPAD PRO 11in and pencil. I had two sales associates tell me that since I purchased the XS not to long ago that I would receive 150 dollars off the new IPAD due to a promotion they have going on and that sounded good to me. I went ahead and made the purchase through Daniel one of the two sales associates who seemed to be more focused on trying to sell me accessories than taking care of what I wanted to purchase. I finally told Daniel that I was not interested in the accessories and purchased the IPAD and pencil only. later that evening I called Verizon customer service because there is nothing on my receipt about the 150 off and I was told after almost an hour of them wasting my time that those items had to be purchased at exactly the same time to receive the promo and that there was nothing they could do to honor the deal. The lady I spoke with when I called customer service that evening was very nice, professional and apologetic that it took her so long to find the details of the promo as well as very apologetic to me due to the actual store misleading me so I am pleased with that. As for Daniel the so called Verizon specialist in the store itself and the other guy who gave me the wrong information. They both need to either honor the deals they make or go back to Verizon training and learn how to do their job. read more

My husband and I went into a Verizon Wireless store before this one and had a horrible experience. From the moment we walked into this location we felt completely comfortable. They greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and got us signed in. They told us the wait would be about twenty minutes; I expected it to be longer because they were packed with people. We only ended up waiting about ten minutes or so. The associate that helped us was named Braxton, we couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was very knowledgeable, polite, efficient and humorous. He listened to what we needed and delivered that and more. He gave us options but never tried to push anything on us. He gave us advice on how to save more money with our monthly plan and explained everything in detail. We will definitely be going back to this location every time. Not usually a negative reviewer. Unfortunately, the service here was unprofessional and lacking in technical expertise. Never again will i go here. I spent 2-3 hours on something that was fixed in 10 minutes by calling Verizon directly. I just reactivated data on my tablet. I had 2 days left change my billing from "just bill me" to "pre-paid". I was told I had to install a new sim and wipe my tablet. Really? What really irritates is the response from staff. Yes, I DID ask reasonable, explicit questions like, "That seems like something that Verizon would do in their billing system. Are you sure? Sorry, I'm on vacation, and I want to be sure." I was told yes, given a sim, and left alone. Then... While backing up my tablet, a Verizon staffer at the same table, the same table, complained: "Yah, I'm a communications major, and, even then, this job can be really challenging, like, dealing with people who think they are technical when they aren't. Yah." -- Verizon Staffer Standing Across From Me This was an unprofessional mistake made in intentionally poor taste. A customer service rep complaining about their job, er... "dealing with people" to a customer - in front of another customer who supposedly fit the complaint - could only be, at best, misinterpreted. Plus, customers don't like hearing this sort of thing. It is horribly awkward. Another person came in. Technical issue? Wipe your phone. "Are you sure?" they asked... Don't waste your time buying data devices here. Get them directly from Apple, Google, Samsung. Get a support contract from the manufacturer. You will have a much faster, more knowledgable, more professional resource to fix your problem. read more

extremely insulant "service" personnel. assume that any complaint was either imagined or dishonest. simply tried to return (for exchange) a faulty phone within the 14 day trial period. salesman gave the phone a 18 second inspection, and deemed it to be functioning, so I would be responsible for a restock fee. I asked to speak to the manager, he said, without even inspecting or trying the phone, that it didn't seem to be malfunctioning. I even asked him if he understood how that might sound to me, condescendingly he said that he could not take my word for it, and his hands were tied. drove 30 minutes to another store, where they listened, and swapped out the phone, and I have had no problems with the new one. I would NEVER return to that store, and would not recommend it to anyone else, unless you simply need your self esteem adjusted. read more

Not sure who your salesperson was today but we just left the same location and had a horrible experience too. 1. Tried to push us into a different phone because the one we wanted was out of stock. Turns out it will ship Tuesday, not a big deal to wait for what you really want. 2. Price at store was more and required you to wait for a rebate on top of that. Price kept going up and salesperson could not explain the detail breakdown. 3. Walked out of there frustrated and was not going to be taken advantage of especially after being a LONG time customer. 4. Went online and was able to order the phone I wanted for a total of $87.43 shipped to my door by Thursday versus paying over $200 for the exact same thing. It was very busy when we got there and they were expecting a 20 minute wait. We didn't wait longer than 10 minutes and we got serviced by a nice guy named Leroy. He gave us options for a little bundle but we only needed a cover and screen saver and he didn't try to pressure us to buy anything additional which was very refreshing! My husband and I have never in our lives dealt with such sleazy customer service. We went to upgrade our phones before Verizon changed their upgrade policies. Braxton, avoid like the plague, gave us the worst service, lied through his teeth, and completely misrepresented himself and the company. We have gone back 3x trying to rectify the web of lies he spun. He claimed the store was having a "promo" that not only included free tablets, but also phone cases, chargers, screen protectors, and cases for the tablets. On top of that, he also claimed we would have more data added to our plan and that our monthly bill would go down. Several times during our interaction we asked "why is this happening? Are we going to be charged for this extra stuff we didn't ask for?" He verified multiple times, and so did Peter (the next day) that it was part of this "fabulous promo". Well...what do you think happened next? Low and behold, we're slapped with $880 bill. We spoke to a manager, who did very little to assuage the situation and Braxton had the balls to say "this was all explained to you". When a salesperson says "go pick out a case, you're getting this car charger, etc" does that sound like the expectation is you know you're going to pay for this?? Deceptive, manipulative, unacceptable. This is a classic case of BAIT AND SWITCH. We will be contacting the GM tomorrow. This is not how you treat CM's who have been loyal to your company for 10+ years. If you doubt what I have to say, all you need to do is go to consumerreports.com and you'll find 1000's of reviews similar to the one I've just left. Worst company ever. read more

Had a great experience here this visit. Luis helped me with a phone that really just quit functioning suddenly. I knew I needed a new one and he helped me with the best deal and transferring all my info over. In the past, I was told I had to do all of that at home but he helped me with the whole process. Not sure if that is standard now or if he helped on account of the trouble I was having? Either way he was patient and kind and even stayed about 30 min after closing to get me all set up without making me feel rushed. I had had a long long day so his assistance was greatly appreciated. I also walked out with a new ipad. I didn't really NEED it but his no pressure sales really worked! 4 stars only because Verizon pricing is still confusing but kudos to Luis who was awesome! read more

So I go in & was told I am being pre-billed which was never told to me originally than told me it was the billing date, was there for over an hour. I than asked for a written statement for my next bill so I had it on paper this time with my estimated total & due date & name of rep. Bunch of crooks. We didn't do it that night because we had to back out phones up, we go into a store closer to us and they tell us we aren't able to upgrade and I explained to them why is then someone had everything set up to upgrade to the new iPhone and now we aren't able to?!? Went in to get a screen protector for my Galaxy S3 - yes, I'm slow to move to the latest and greatest. It was a Friday evening and the place was packed. I looked on their display to see only S4 and S5 protectors were available. Expecting a long wait to be helped, I was about to leave when an employee, Victor, came up to me to ask if I'd been helped. He said only S4 and above protectors were available, but he would cut it to fit my S3, which he did. He did a great job and offered to help again next time I needed help cutting and applying a screen protector. Victor was friendly and very helpful. read more
