I confirmed by checking the correct price with other Verizon stores. He was pretty rude when I told him I didn't want to buy a iPad and Disney plus and a Wi-Fi plan. He kept looking over at his coworkers exclaiming "I'm striking out all day today" and "she wants to change her provider which is stupid because she won't find a better deal" all while I was standing right in front of him... Avoid this location at all costs. I was foolish enough to buy the lifetime screen protection policy. When I needed mine replaced, no where on the paperwork did it say that I had to purchase a screen protector each time. And, the corporate policy had changed; the store could not offer/sell me the screen protector, I had to order it on line and then go back to the store to get it put on!!! This after being in the store for an hour and a half! Aaron was rude (he just doesn't seem happy) both times I was there. Patrick had me wait for over an hour to give me 5 minutes worth of information. I will say that Aaron did an excellent job in putting on my replacement screen protector. Useless. I placed an order through Verizon for pickup at this store, and they never bothered to pull the phone so I could pick it up. They never answered the phone when Verizon or I called, and I wound up canceling the order and reordering for delivery. Don't bother trying to work with any Victra location. read more

Unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with Patrick. I went in with a simple task and when I declined for services I was not seeking he started to shut me down when I did not buy what he was trying to sell me. When the conversation was obviously not heading in a positive direction I asked for his manager, Ralph, so I could get clear answers to my problems. It turned out he was the person standing by mine and Patrick's conversation the entire time. As a pregnant woman I was put in a very emotional state while in this store and when I voiced I was having a very poor experience, Patrick, in a snarling manner said "I don't think it was." It was very clearly these men were sexist towards me being a woman, especially pregnant. I took my sister who has a relatively new android phone - Samsung F23 and neither of us could figure out some of the features of the phone particularly how to listen to and delete voice mails. Patrick assisted us for about an hour and set things straight on the phone. My sister who is 80 (I am 79) were so impressed with his patience and excellent service and response to multiple questions (that young people don't have to ask). I understand from old reviews that there has been a customer service problem with this store but the service my sister and I received was excellent. If I could leave negative stars, I definitely would. Did not catch the gentleman's name at the counter but it was apparent he did not have time for my business since it was within an hour of the stores closing time. He increasingly became less friendly as I declined extra products ( I had just ordered a new phone for pickup , which I'm guessing he sees no commission on). Once he retrieved my phone from the back he asked me for a 4 digit pin , which I had never heard of, and when I asked if it was a new policy or in an email I received his response was "if you could make this quick, and actually they are in front of you" apparently He had ongoing transactions with two other customers unbeknownst to me since he was speaking to a little girl and her mother in a very disgruntled tone as the mother asked how long something would take, he responded "When I'm finished!" And they went and sat in the corner of the store I honestly assumed he could only be talking to his own family, or someone waiting on his shift to end due to how rude his attitude was. The other customer was pacing around the store, and stepping in and out for phone calls, I even thought he may be an employee since there was no sense of urgency from our guy behind the counter. But I'm guessing he was just upset with the slow and unenthusiastic service. There are 2 other Verizon's within a couple miles (~5 mins) that I have not been to but I guarantee they cannot be half this bad . Figured out I could set a pin in about 20 seconds through the app in the parking lot and still decided I'll wait until tomorrow and go to a real Verizon due to how unprofessional this store feels. read more

i had already ordered and paid for a new phone it was ready for pick up. the cashier was incredibly rude and was unable to help. he went in the back and got my new phone, offered me chargers/screen protectors/blocks multiple times but then began helping another customer. who he apparently was not finished with, befofe he had called me up to the counter. i didn't realize. eventually had to walk out without my new phone, which was already paid for and sitting behind the desk. not because i had to wait but because of how rude the employee was speaking and acting. wish i could've caught his name to include. i think he was the only employee working tonight and clearly was stressed about having more than one customer at 35 minutes before closing. some people can't get there until after work sorry! read more

Haven't been to this store in over two years, as the customer service back then was terrible! Needing a new phone, I saw reviews on this same store on another site and they were very positive so I thought I'd give it another try. Boy, am I glad I did! The store now, in 2024, has a new owner and has done a complete turnaround. Best experience getting a new phone (which I usually dread) I've ever had in over 15 years. Orlando and Brian were FANTASTIC! I'm an older customer (somewhat technically challenged) and this is my business phone so cannot be down with my service. They listened, were pleasant, didn't go at warp speed explaining things, and walked me through getting my new phone. BEST customer service I've ever had with Verizon! Go to this store! The Verizon store on Colorado Blvd is owned by Victra and not Verizon. Don't go there, go to a Verizon site. 1)The Victra site is typically with 1 employee, so if there are other customers you will wait. And wait. 2) We were told by a Victra employee that the data from our old phones needed to be moved over by them at a charge of $35. Not true, my husband went to the nearby Verizon store where it was confirmed that he could migrate the data himself. 3) My husband ordered a phone, went to the Victra site to pick it up and entered the building. He waited for the staffer to finish with prior customes and then was told he needed to leave. The staffer "had a meeting, so you have to go. Now." This was mid-morning, not at closing time. He walked outside and was locked out. 4) Trade-in credit for our old phones did not go smoothly. A 20-30 minute call with Verizon was needed to get the correct credit for each phone. Verizon doesn't shine, but Victra is a mess. Don't go there. read more

Every time I have to deal with this store it makes me regret being a Verizon customer. The staff is extremely rude and condescending on their best day and nearly always unhelpful. The only way you will get something useful from them is if you can get what you need from a Verizon rep and Verizon will direct the store to do something. Otherwise, good luck. Absolute worst customer service. Hidden $20 fee that they don't even tell you about until after your phone arrives. They say it is for "Ready to Go" - even if it is something you don't want. It's no where in the contract you sign though - only after you buy the phone and are about to activate it do they tell you about it. Then they say there is nothing they can do about it because it is "greyed out" on their screen. But if you threaten to walk then all of the sudden it is taken care of. Of course this means that now they won't help transfer the # for me now. This place is the worst - avoid at all costs!!! Is there is a way to give zero stars? If so, I would. read more

Give me the number for 911!" - Homer Simpson My friends find my relationship and interactions with technological devices more than just amusing, they are completely beguiled by my lack of savvy. You see, I work in the tech field and it is assumed that I actually am familiar with the latest and greatest gadgets. It is an understatement to say that is not the case. And so, that is why I found myself at the Verizon store yet again; these visits are more frequent than one should admit in a public forum such as Yelp so I won't document the actual number of times I've had to use the services of the tech team at this and other Verizon stores. This time, my phone died and I couldn't bring it back to life. I tried the most obvious solution that I could think of and started pressing the 'ON' button. Over and over and over again. That of course didn't work. What to do? Maybe it needed a charge, so I plugged it in, that should definitely do the trick. Afraid not. I kind of had the feeling that wouldn't work because usually as soon as the charger thingy is inserted into the receptacle thingy at the base of the phone, usually the 'smartphone' vibrates a bit and a picture of a little battery appears on the touch screen. That didn't happen this time. But I wasn't too dismayed; maybe it needed some more time to come up from a less than zero charge. 30 minutes later I went to check on my phone because I thought that was sufficient time for my phone to regain its mojo. Nope. My anxiety took a step in the wrong direction. I don't like when my phone is not within my sight or in my hand, let alone when it is not functioning; I feel cut off from the world without it. Ridicule me, but I suspect all of you reading this know exactly what that feels like. Like a monkey in some crazed scientific experiment I started repeatedly pushing all the buttons available to me: the ones on the side, the ones on top, the one on the screen, over and over again. Nothing. Now panic began to set in. Once I regained my composure, I calmly searched for my car keys and made my way to the Verizon store. Once I reached my savior, I mean the store, I had to park. That is nearly impossible anytime at this location since the parking lot is insufficient to accommodate all the restaurants, the hotel, and the Verizon store that call this strip mall home. Of course I arrived at 12:17 pm. Pure parking hell. This parking lot is insane - why would an SUV the size of a tank even attempt to parallel park? In so doing, other cars were immobilized since there is no space to turn around or otherwise maneuver; the ensuing backup extended onto Cherry Creek South Drive almost to Colorado Blvd. before this behemoth finally gave up. Ugh. I finally find a spot and march into the store. Within two minutes I am assisted by a very nice and nonthreatening looking Verizon team member. I explain that my phone isn't working and I have no idea why and explained my attempts to revive it. She asks me to hand over the phone and 15 seconds later hands me my phone back. It is working! I see the screen and all my apps, and contacts, and I'm happy. So I ask what did she do to solve the problem and what did I do to cause the problem. She explains that she has no clue what I did (D'oh!) but she proceeds to show me that I need to press this button and this button simultaneously and hold them until the phone comes back to life. I thank her and am on my way with only a slight blush of embarrassment on my cheek at my incompetence. She smiles and waves goodbye. Next time this happens, because it surely will, I will remember that I have to press this button and that button at the same time; or what is more likely, I will mutter the same thing that Homer does "To Start Press Any Key'. BEWARE!! They stole my trade in phone!!! They took my trade-in and told me I would have an $800 dollar credit to upgrade. I did not realize that what you normally do is send your old phone in via the mail. They told me they wiped it clean and I left it with them. Never received a credit for my phone. And for weeks I had several accounts, like Amazon, compromised. I called Verizon and they said there is nothing they can do. 17 years with Verizon....I am gone. Stay away from this place!! read more

This doesn't even deserve 1 star! I bought a new Samsung phone yesterday. I had to come to this location to pick it up. They couldn't find it. Finally found it. The Verizon pin wouldn't work, I had it correct the first time. It finally worked. Then she gives it to me and says good luck setting this up at home. I get home and hours later I'm still on the phone with Verizon and no one seems to know how to activate the phone. I did all the setup things the phone walked me through and still no activation. I drive to this location this morning, apparently they changed their hours on Sundays from 11am to noon. I get there and by 11:30am all 3 employees are inside and won't help me. I drive back home and I'm still on the phone again with Verizon. Still not activated. Still on hold. Ridiculous and unacceptable! I feel like I'm in some twilight zone. I have been standing in line for 15 minutes now. I was the first person here, was never greeted or acknowledged, and now there are three additional people behind me. I just need to buy a cord. Saying "hi! Be with you in a few minutes" would have been acceptable. What's worse is that the associate and two customers in front of me were trash talking the Verizon store at the mall. Guess what, guys, they perform at a much higher level than you. Ooh, and the girl behind me just walked out. Go Wireless stands for "Go" somewhere else. Terrible customer service. I was a paying customer looking to upgrade my iPhone to a newer iPhone 5C. Cash in hand. The guy would ask me what color I wanted and then interrupted when I requested a color and say "we don't have that". I would chose another and he'd interrupt with "we don't have that either". He could have politely stated that they only had two colors but instead chose to play a silly game. I had also asked about bringing old cell phones in to get a small discount on my purchase to which he laughed sarcastically. My time being somewhat valuable I decided to go to another store. *read below* These guys are a "Premium Retailer" whatever that means. If it means only carrying limited types of phones then they are your guys. If you love sub par customer service even when you're the only customer in the store then this is your shop. The actual verizon store (these guys are not a Verizon store. There is one less than a mile away in Cherry Creek mall) had more options and better customer service and there was 20+ people in there. Also they gave me $20 off of my bill for returning older flip phones so they can re-use them in developing countries. *A store manager contacted me wishing to speak to me about my experience. The first time I went here I needed to transfer my contacts from my Blackberry to my IPhone. No problem whatsoever. No charge. Badda boom done, awesome, out in maybe 10 minutes. Recently I went from Iphone to Droid DNA, both on Verizon. Went to said store, lady tells me its 20 bucks to transfer contacts. I told her last time it was free. Nope, 20 bucks. I told her these are both Verizon phones, seriously? 20 bucks, maybe you can talk to my supervisor or go to a different Verizon store. Ok, not gonna win, still need a case and a screen protector. Awful experience! I bought a phone, after 2 days I realized was not the phone for me so I took the phone back (it was well within my 14 day return window). I was treated so poorly, I left the store upset. Everyone has bad days so I returned a day later to see if I could get my issue resolved and the associate literally laughed in my face....are you serious?!?!? Laughing in my face when I have a valid complaint of being sold insurance that is not the Verizon insurance and being charged a $50 restocking fee that I was never told about. I will not be returning to the store and will contact Verizon directly to resolve my issues. If you are looking for a new phone, go to Best Buy, the team members there are awesome and treat you with respect. Best Buy is a non-commission based sales environment so they will not try and sell you on something you don't want or need in order to make a buck. read more

We paid a visit to the Verizon store yesterday to upgrade our phones to the Samsung Galaxy S III. I just had to tell you that because I love my new phone! We have now purchased a total of seven phones from this store, two sets for ourselves and three others as gifts for the parental units. I am always impressed with the excellent customer service we receive. The salespeople are helpful and knowledgeable. They will have your transaction completed and get you out the door in a very efficient manner. If you are so inclined, the store now carries Otter Box phone cases. They are pricey but certainly worth it if you are a klutz or spend lots of time around water. Of course you will also find other types of cases and various accessories for your phone. If you can navigate the horrible parking lot (currently made worse by the construction going on behind the adjacent hotel), I suggest stopping in to this Verizon store next time you need a new phone. I have stopped in this location twice in the last week me both experiences were surprisingly pleasant. 1st visit was to ask complicated questions about my Internet as well as change details on my family plan account. I have zero product knowledge, let alone tech skills. The gentleman assisting me was outstanding at organizing my requests and making the changes I needed (even though a more savvy person would do it online). 2nd visit was to solve the mystery of my suddenly broken IPhone. At apple you have to make an appointment well in advance and drag yourself to Cherry Creek mall. I avoided all of that by returning to my (now favorite) Verizon store! He gave me great advice, evaluated what I'm doing to drain the battery and advised me to use my phone insurance to get a replacement if needed. Both days were during busy hours and I never felt forgotten in the crowd. I will certainly be continuing to use this location for my Verizon needs! read more
