Ok I've dealt with verizon for yrs. If you need help Middletown is by fafar the least efficient, least helpful. But there are other locations fairly close. The best is not as close ... at the Beavercreek Greene. The one in springboro and the one near Dayton mall are about the same. both better than Middletown. Recently spectrum offered to buy me out of my contract and lower my bill considerably. Have to have 3 lines to get the offer. 1 of the lines getgets free service for 12 months. This store is the least helpful experience I've ever had. All I wanted to do was get a new phone, and the associate not only added a new line to my account that I didn't need, but she also put insurance on the new phone and the old phone that was broken. After dealing with customer service for several months (since October) I then find out she changed my plan without asking. Avoid this store at all cost! read more

I recently visited your Middletown Verizon location to pick up a SIM card for my own device. I had done this exact process two months ago at the same store with no issue, it was a wonderful experience! This time, staff (Sadie) told me it wasn't possible and that I had to "call customer service." No one offered to walk me through a solution or explain any policy change. They just said I needed to call customer support. It was escalated to a manager who was very kind and calm the entire time but an in store solution was still not offered. I ended up figuring out the solution myself by placing an online order for in store pickup from the parking lot. This could have been an easy lovely solution the employee walked me through in the store and the interaction would have ended in a win for everyone. They wouldn't lose a SIM card from their inventory and the customer would be helped. When I returned to pick it up, I calmly and respectfully gave feedback after getting the SIM card, saying I was surprised by the poor service compared to my previous experience. One of the employees raised her voice at me, became hostile, and eventually told me to "get out" of the store while shooing me away with her hands simply for giving respectful, calm feedback. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism. I work in customer service myself and know how important it is to show empathy and to help customers find solutions, especially for something as simple and common as activating a SIM card. Being dismissed and treated rudely is not acceptable and is not a trait that a customer support employee should have. I have never been treated like this by someone that was supposed to be able to help me. I ended the interaction by saying one of the most simple skills in life and in customer support is empathy and kindness and both were not present today. I was met again with telling me to get out now. I just wish there would have been kindness or at the very least some empathy. For something so simple with an interaction that had the opportunity to be easy and lovely again, it was instead a hostile, disgruntled, unprofessional, and utterly disrespectful one. According to Verizon's job listings they look for people that are professional, have integrity,have patience when handling challenges, friendly and approachable, calm and positive, and are consistent on delivering excellent customer service. I ordered a new phone to this store on Feb 22 , Through the Verizon app, I did the upgrade, my phone order has shown not completed for 3 days , when it showed in stock and Verizon customer service said they show 4 on hand at this store, the first rep i spoke to for Verizon before i demanded a Manager said oh your order show incomplete and that is why the store did not fill the order, well my bank account shows that Verizon did bill me for the new phone , and i told the rep that and he replied well you need to repurchase the phone all over again and at this point I said why i have already paid and it came out of my account why would i buy it again. so, the Customer Service rep suggested i go to the store since they can't even get anyone to answer at the store and I was on the phone over an hour with customer service. and told you need to go to the store and find out why it's not completed. none of this makes sense to me, my order still shows not ready and the first rep in customer service telling me i needed to re-purchase the phone and that the store code on my receipt does not exist, it seems Verizon is really going downhill, i wasted over an hour at work on the phone only to be told sorry you need to go to the store for some reason they won't answer , just bad overall customer service. and i will not ever be ordering anything from this store again. i will just have it shipped to my house as i should of done in the first place. unreal. makes me want to just say refund my money and I will go elsewhere to another provider who actually is professional and caring about their customers. read more

Ordered a phone online received confirmation that phone and phone case was delivered well big issue phone was not in the box only phone case called Verizon talked with tabitha whom told me they would open investigation with ups and that we needed to call ups as well so I told her they need to send a replacement phone and she told me we can't do that because they would loose money wow just wow is the money coming out of her paycheck not hardly ask for supervisor and she says well they will tell you the same thing not the correct thing to say so finally get Jessica no help what so ever talks in circles same shit file claim with ups and you do the same frustration is building asked for her boss she tells me 24-48 hours before they can call because they are so busy lol please they must be busy stealing peoples money and phones So I called ups and the man tells me we can't file a claim because Verizon has a restriction on customers filing claims and that Verizon should send a replacement phone out immediately. Wow wow and more wow Tabitha and Jessica you both need to get out of customer service because a 6 year loyal customer should not receive this kind of service maybe you should both try a job cleaning toilets and not customer service I have worked in customer service for 20 plus years and you know what I was always told the customer is always right you should always listen first then try to help and not but in and definately don't talk over the customer read more

We switched over from another company. The rep that helped us was solid. There was an issue with one of our numbers porting over. Jeff, one of the managers, spent a lot of time getting the number fixed. He even followed up with us while we weren't in the store, and got a solution. Great store. read more

BELOW ZERO. Went to this location at direction of Verizon Financial Services to switch pre-paid MasterCard refund for a check. So called "manager", Don, refused to listen or assist me. Asked that he reach out to his supervisor and was told none of the phones work and then he threatened to call the police with his phone if I didn't leave the property. I am a real threat too, a female customer who has been a Verizon customer for the past 2 and half years, never a late payment. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. He was disrespectful, insulting and obnoxious. He doesn't know the meaning of customer service. I will be contacting his superiors and corporate office. read more

Never again will have another phone plan with Verizon Wireless. I've had my plan since April. I've broken the $39.99 screen protector Justin pushed on me (not a free replacement as stated), and I've been OVER-BILLED TWICE. Every single day, I get 3-4 spam robo calls DESPITE blocking the previous days numbers and every day I get calls from other Verizon numbers claiming to have missed a call from me. No. Changing my 3 month old number is not the solution. When you call customer service for any reason (don't try to call the store you bought it at, it rerouts you to corporate) prepare to wait and be on hold 40+ minutes (every single time). Also, don't just show back up at the store, you'll wait 53 minutes just to be handed a piece of paper (the wrong one the first time) with a bogus number scribbled across it so you can call for yourself, they ain't helping you. read more

I wouldn't use this store ever! Twice now, I have had significant issues. The staff is rude and doesn't care that they mess up peoples accounts. They refuse to be courteous and helpful. After a cash transaction for 2 iPhoneX, they messed up both phones and left 2 elderly people with no way to contact friends/family for help. I have reached out to Verizon directly. Trust me when I say, make the trip to the Miamisburg-Centerville Rd store. They are 100x better. read more

I went here after I bought my new iPhone 6, I got an email saying I could take my phone into the store rather than mail it in. I walked into the store and was greeted by a young girl who was very eager to help me until she found out I wasn't buying a phone. I said I'm here to trade in my iPhone4s per the mailer I had to send it back. She said I'm sorry you didn't buy the phone here, I said I understand however it says bring to any Verizon corporate store, she says yes it does say that but you didn't buy the phone here therefore I can't help you. She spoke with a manager, I can over hear them talking and I hear her say I'm not making commission so I'll just tell him to mail it. She comes back out and says sorry company policy says we can't do it in store. I would avoid this store at all costs, I now see why Verizon is losing customers, I have never been treated like this at any retail store, and to top things off it appears they lost my phone that I mailed in and now might not get my 200.00 credit!!! I would have switched to t-mobile or Att if I wasn't promised the 200 credit. Avoid this store and any Verizon for that matter. read more
