I have received over fifty e-mails from reps at this location this year. My company doesn't offer cell phones for our employees but regardless of how many times I've asked to be removed from their list, the e-mails continue. When someone says stop e-mailing me, it's a business' obligation to do that. This location refuses to honor that obligation. read more

I went in to upgrade my phone, with no conversation the customer service rep decided to change my plan. This was not discussed or confirmed with me, and I declined several services/changes that were offered during the interaction because I was only interested in a phone upgrade not a change to my plan. We have dealt with this Verizon store a LOT in the past. We have always received absolutely wonderful service. Today, things seemed a bit disorganized, and we had to wait longer than normal while it seemed there were a lot of people standing around idle. One guy kept guiding us to the kiosk to pay our bill, which was not what we were there for. Once we finally got someone to help us, he was amazing! I believe his name was Chase. We were there to increase our anytime voice minutes. We expected to increase our bill, and he actually found a way to get us unlimited minutes and decrease our bill by $10/month. We may have grumbled momentarily, but we left happy customers, as usual. :) read more

I went and spoke with a rep (guy with extremely long nails) and he turned us over to Reggie (the other guy stood there picking at his nails). I apparently was given the run around, and could not cancel a line in store. Instead of trying to come up with a solution, he told me stories of previous customer complaints he couldn't handle. I shook his hand and told him I would just call the cancellation number again. I was put through to "L", who looks in my account and apologizes for being lied to by a salesperson at the "s loop" store. She starts making arrangements for me to mail the phone and stops, because the phone & line has already been scheduled for "return and desk cancellation" at their corporate Verizon store in Denton of S Loop 288 between 4:30pm-5pm today. Wow. So, circles were ran. I will not return to this store. I am disappointed in how it was handled. JB should not get the commission from the lie he sold us. He, Reggie, and guy with the nails need better training over all. Samantha (blonde lady from original review) was the only one at this store who actually tried looking up solutions yesterday; even after we left. She assisted a 70 year old man with his phone today, and was impressed by her mannerisms and help. I've been here twice. First time my screen protector was put on awfully, so I went back and asked to get a refund. Manager was very rude and inconsiderate, did not want to give me a refund. I have a family member at a different location (which I would have went to if I was in the area) and this store has such horrible service. My recent visit was just as bad, went in for a quote on a family plan and was rushed out. The plan was not even made correctly, and the employee showed NO effort or anything. I loathe coming here. Not only do they bring a bucket with extra stuff to buy when you discuss LOWERING your bill, but the sales staff is way to pushy. Although I left empty-handed, I will still give this location a solid 4 stars. I've been frequenting Verizon stores around Frisco/Plano/McKinney in the past few weeks trying to get my upgrade done, but no phones in stock... ever. I'm used to dealing with the semi-jerky, wanna-be know-it-all people who work at cell phone stores. It's just something I've come to accept. That is until I visited the Denton Verizon store. Whoa! A non-lazy guy who actually looks up stuff in his system and checks in the back before shooting off answers!? What?! Someone who actually offers to check other stores in the area?! No way! It is rare I post public reviews; however this has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a company. I went into this store in September to upgrade my phone after recently switching to Verizon from AT&T. I was sold a bunch of promotions from the sales associate - TJ - that still are not applied to my account. I went in the day after getting the devices to ask about why things were not correct against my account, and told I have to now deal will billing. That he couldn't fix the errors he caused. I have spend HOURS between the store and talking to billing via phone and it is still not resolved. Billing says that what I was sold is not what is on my account or bill and they cannot fix it or honor the promotions he sold me. "That they will try to escalate it further". So that will be even more time waiting and on the phone trying to resolve it. While Verizon continues to bill me additional charges that were not supposed to be billed. I regret changing to Verizon after being with AT&T for 15+yrs. I never had these issues or spent this much time with AT&T. read more

Customer Service issue. My 80 year old mother went in for a very basic phone as she isn't tech savvy and often intimidated by technology. She left with that phone and an Apple ipad mini as well. What connection did the salesman make that a customer asking for the very basic phone would be a candidate for the mini? She asked me, her son, to go to the store with her as she was afraid that they wouldn't listen to her (she was right}. Went to return it a few days later and asked for the restocking fee to be waived. Forget about it, her bad for being talked into buying something she wasn't looking for. They sold it, set it up, and never cared that it wasn't appropriate for her, doesn't matter as long as they close the sale. Got it. Returned everything and cancelling her accounts with them. They could care less, definitely not the experience at the Apple store. They don't get it that this type of customer service loses customers. Contacted their support team about their elder policy and they said they didn't discriminate base on age. With that attitude, I would be cautious if you are old or young, you'll come out with more than you wanted. Buyer beware.. read more

Do not trust this store because they use deceptive business practices. I went to the store to up grade my iPhone. I was told it would cost "X" amount to upgrade plus tax. When I got home and read the electronic charge bill, there was $11/month phone protection insurance. Insurance was NEVER a topic of discussion so how could I approved such a charge. It took me over one hour to get the charge removed by calling what is listed on the bill as the store phone number. This number does not take one to the store, but some way off land of people who take much too long to rectify a mistake and blame the customer for the mistake. The phone number and email address listed on the store web site do not function. This is a Verizon owned store. read more

Every time I come to this store to buy a new phone they make it more difficult than it has to be. This time the guy who helped me, Peter, didn't know how to activate my new phone, couldn't retrieve my iCloud backup and charged me Twice for the phone. I recommend you find a different Verizon store to go to. read more
