I would say my previous experience was an anomaly. We have been back many times since and they have all been fantastic there.

Do NOT go into this location if you are not going in to buy. I have been in and out of this location over the years and depending on the staff the service I received would be rated from fair to NO WAY. Recently I walked in and approached two sales men standing by the counter looking at something on their phones. I was greeted with a "can we help you" and when I told them I need some help with my bill I was told okay someone will help you and both men went back to their phones. there were 3 other customers in the store. ONE man was helping one of the customers. I asked if I should sign in or something and was told no. I wandered around long enough to check out every phone, phone case, tablet and accessories. I also had enough time to look at and knock over a display of speakers and headphones. And although I am a fat old lady I did get everything cleaned up without any assistance from the limber young men as they watched me. I finally left without getting any assistance with my bill. I am sure if I had said I want a new phone, or that I wanted to buy a tablet they would have been more than happy to set their phones down and help. read more

Absolutely horrible experience at this store. Went in with my sister to upgrade our iPhones and what should have been an easy process turned into an extremely frustrating one. After not wanting to participate in their new "promotion" the manager (I think he's the manager) proceeded to shout at us trying to convince us to reconsider after we had said no three times. His demeanor, tone of voice, and overall attitude was absolutely unprofessional and made us feel like he was trying to make us feel like complete idiots. When they finally gave up on the "promotion" after explaining 5+ times why we didn't want to do it, they finally got us our phones. The guy helping us charged my sisters credit card the full amount (over $1,000 instead of $500) and then refused to admit that it was even his fault. Blamed the bank entirely and would not own up to his own mistake. While we were there, a lady and her son came in to get a new phone as well and the next thing we know she is having issues with the same "manager" guy who then refuses to let her get a phone or even call a higher up manager. This confirmed the fact that it wasn't just us that felt his complete unprofessionalism. It was hands down the worst experience I have ever had in any phone store or any store for that matter and for that reason me nor my sister will ever be returning there. They're unhelpful, make you feel stupid, pressure you, and create a horrible environment for the customers who are spending a ton of money. I'll be contacting corporate offices about this as I feel something clearly needs to change. read more

This is not only about the "Verizon Covington Store" This also is a large reflection of the entire customer service on line as well. First off, I've been with Verizon since 1986 when it was first known as Cellular One, Then US Cellular, and Air Touch Cellular. So I'm NOT just an "un happy" client that DID NOT get her way. I have the Samsung note II. LOVE THIS phone, unfortunately dropped it on Sunday MAY 3, 2015. I went flying down to the Covington Store, only to get the run around. First I'm told that since I AM ONLY 52 DAYS (as of today) of an up grade, it would cost me full price unless I agree to go to the "edge" program... AND, my payment would go up ANOTHER $10.00 a month. I said, " ya,...no thank you." I was in that store for over an hour. I went home and called customer service, I was ON THE PHONE for 59:52 mins. "She" gave me the upgrade, I just need to go back to the store and pick the phone out etc etc... Well...I go down to the store the next day MONDAY MAY 4TH. I'm told that what customer service wrote down in her notes were... Oh, sure, she can have an upgrade to the samsung note 4???? I was visibly upset, as I NEVER once told the girl on the phone from customer service which phone I was going to purchase... another hour coming un glued IN THE STORE. I go home once again. and call customer service back, another 44:32 mins on the phone with another person from customer service, She said, "no problem m'am, which phone would you like... I tell her, she say's, "no problem, do you want GOLD, PLATINUM, OR BLACK? and HOW MANY GB do you want 32-64-or 128??? I tell her, and she say's "great", you'll have it no later than THURSDAY MAY 7, BY 7PM ARRIVING BY FED EX...Here's your order # 805.........8. I then get on line, and noticed that they have FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING??? why in the Sam hill are the taking 2 - 3 day's shipping mine out? So, ... I get on the phone Tuesday MAY 5, 2015. I speak to a Michael, on the phone for 19:44 mins. He say's, "first off that phone you requested is on back order for months, it's NOT even IN stock, and... ( it gets' better ) there IS NO SUCH ORDER NUMBER NOR IS ANYTHING BEING SHIPPED TO YOU.. F**** now I'm over the top up set. Call Customer service again, Get some SUPERVISOR ALAINA FROM COLORADO SPRINGS, who ASSURED me, this would stop at her, and that she would get to the bottom of this, and call me back ( which would have been today WED MAY 6, 2015) AT 3PM PST. Guess what.. STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON... SO UP SET, SO DISAPPOINTED, Oh, while ALL this is going on. I purchased a blue tooth from the "store" last month. It was suppose to come with a charger...didn't. the manager from the Covington store basically told me I'm lying... Then tells me he's taking photos of some charger and sending them to me.. ( as if I don't have a clue to what they look like) HIS NAME IS RYAN FROM THE COVINGTON STORE IN WASHINGTON. He never kept his word either..... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....... read more

Ask for Bart when you go in. I had to do a hard reset on my Razr and so had to re-add my email account. When I couldn't do it myself, I called Verizon tech support and - WOW- what a JOKE. They actually kept me on the phone for 3 HOURS - I swear I'm not exagerating - and they FAILED. After all that time I still did NOT have working email on my phone. They tried to tell me it was a hardware problem, then it was a software problem. They even said I might have to get a new phone - right. They tried to get me to use a different email app or even just go without email at all. Really? So I went into this Covington Verizon store and Bart had my email up and running within 10 minutes! These guys really know what they are doing - unlike the dumbasses at tech support. read more

My husband bought a new Droid Razor Max (out of necessity) while he was visiting Ohio two weeks ago. The gal at the Ohio store also talked him into a Mifi. I already have a prepaid Mifi, so we did not the second one. So we took the second one--still in the original box--to this store to return it. They took it back without really questioning it, but they charged us half the purchase price for a restocking fee. Not cool. And Verizons computer system is so slow, we were there almost an hour and a half for a simple return. My husband asked several questions about his phone and its programming. They said they could help, and that some of the apps he had on the phone were just eating power and they would be happy to help him fix it. When we were all done w the return, we were basically ushered out the door, and my husband did not get the help he was promised with his phone. We will be driving to Issaquah from now on. read more

We have recently worked directly with Kyle, Carlton, Mike, Chandler, Brody & Mykel & we give them a 10 "+" for sure!!! If you want exceptional service go see one of them. read more

Went to this Covington Verizon store to see about the broken stylus for my new note-5 Samsung phone. Two of the store representatives standing by the door met me and when I showed them the broken stylus that had been stuck in my phone and had to be removed by a pliers. They immediately stated that the stylus is not covered by them, and go call Samsung. I asked if the warranty, or my phone insurance would cover it, and they said no, call Samsung. They were very short with me and we're totally unwilling to help me. I am very discussed with their customer service, and have had this type of service from this store before. Very rude, untruthful, and unwilling people work here. The management must be terrible to invoke such bad performance from the employees!!! read more

The sales associates are helpful when you need to pick out a new phone or when you have questions setting up devices. However, the manager Ishmael is very rude and unprofessional. My mother's iPhone was having an internal problem and the screen would not turn on when she received calls so we went in to exchange it. The phone has insurance on it and when we spoke to the manager he gave us a phone number and told us to handle it ourselves. We insisted on calling customer service while we were still at the store in case we had any more questions. Without getting any real results we asked Ishmael to find a solution seeing as how we had purchased the phone in his store and had set up our accounts there as well. He told us to go to a different store of we weren't happy and began yelling at my brother. I have never witnessed such rude customer service! As a manager he needs to work on his attitude. There is never an excuse to get into a confrontation with a customer! He should not have this position! Reading all the other reviews it's obvious that this location has a problem with management. Spent over $200.00 on a new razr maxx phone 2 weeks ago at the Covington Verizon Store for our son and over $100.00 at the Costco Verizon kiosk for a droid bionic phone for my wife. Both phones went on sale after I bought them. $120.00 difference to be exact - thats alot of money and both places treated me like crap when I asked for a refund. The verizon store told me they don't price match when I found the maxx on sale at a different store for $100.00 LESS. I think they should have honored the sale price. I told them I was going to use the $100.00 on a new phone for me. They told me to bring the phone back for a refund and go buy the phone at the other location. I thought really...They are willing to refund me and lose the sale completely instead of matching the price. The costco kiosk made a big deal about having to do the refund. We asked about getting another bionic for me and were told they didn't have anymore at that price and I should look other places. No help at all - like checking at other costco location or anything. Oh before I bought the phones for my wife and son I was king of the world TO BOTH PLACES. All I know is when I get my phone bill the Verizon name is on it along with my name so they should care how I'm taken care of since both of these places have the verizon name on them. Hmmm... might be time to switch to a new provider. I work for one of the riches men the world, Mr. Warren Buffett, I wonder if he would be treated this way!! read more
