I was in need of a new cell phone, and decided to go with Cricket Wireless partly because they had some great deals online, and also because they were recently purchased by At&T. Instead of ordering online, I decided to go to this local Cricket Wireless store (which I learned when I got there was recently opened) so that I could port over from old pre-paid plan and have my new phone in hand right away. I also think it is a good idea to hold a cell phone in your hand before you buy it so that you know you like it. I didn't have the greatest experience with buying phones online in the past. First of all, Cricket really does have some great deals. I got what I think is a phenomenal deal on a 4G phone that I had researched extensively before purchasing. And their monthly rates are definitely affordable. The other thing that I liked was the store itself, hence I'm writing this review. The customer service rep who helped me, named Nicole, was very friendly, helpful and professional with me. There was no upsell and no pushy-ness at all. She also was very nice about helping me understand the features of my new phone. I'm somewhat technologically challenged, and she didn't make me feel dumb in the least! They give good deals on phones and plans but the people are somewhat sketchy on what they tell you. You ask them and tell them what you need done and they at times refuse or act like they have no idea what your talking about. read more

DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE! General attitude and concern for people reflect what kind of business this is. OMG - Max and his manager at this place are terrible!! I was waiting my turn for the Starbucks drive trough when the sales guy - Max was taking out trash. The garbage door swung open and hit my car, leaving a huge scratch/gash and a dent. I got out to inspect and he was immediately hostile. WTH? You smash my car and then get mad at me? I asked a few questions and his response was "what the fuck do you want me to do about it?" and then he walked away back to the store. I parked and followed up inside the store. At no point did I yell or use profanity at him. I just wanted a resolution of sorts - which should have started with an apology. Instead he continued to yell, and use profanity at/and around me and my toddler son. WHO DOES THIS? His manager Elizabeth was less than concerned about the employee treating someone this way, using profanity and making threats; her response was to tell me too bad and it's not her problem. I beg to differ; the sales guy is on clock and doing chores related to work - it is your responsibility and you should be concerned about how he is talking to/treating people. UGH. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE - if this is how they treat a non-cricket customer whose car they just smashed, I can't imagine how little regard they have for customers. I have contacted 1-800-CRICKET to report, with little interest from CS. I have also contacted the DM on two separate occasions with no response. Super awesome. I REPEAT, DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE! Brandon definitely saved my life, hours before my across country trip. Out of no where, my Galaxy S9 completely crashed hours before my long travels back home! Cricket was the only electronic store closest that could probably help solve my issue! For a Sunday, the place was packed! Brandon was helping people pay bills, setting up phones, and fixing them! After not getting my phone to start, he helped make the choice to switch from Metro, upgraded to a Galaxy S10, kept my same number, unlimited plan & a car mount for my drive back home! The phone service is great and the customer service was good. There plans are cheap and there having a special deal right now on phones also you get a 100$ gift card to cricket storer. The bad thing is they have a small selection of phones I recommend buying a phone somewhere. Make sure it's a unlocked phone. read more

I don't know what it is with crickets phones. They have good plans. always get service. but this is my 3rd phone that just crashed after only being with them for a year. The first phone I got replaced because i had a warranty. but the second time it happened to that phone I'm like. Um ok talk about a cheap phone. So i went and tried a different because I like there plan. but This phone after only having it for less than 2 months completely went out on me. The same thing the last phone did. Like if I turn on my phone instantly its like this is not working this is not working. The only thing the phone will let me do is press ok because things just keep popping up. I barely use it. Today around 6:30pm, I had placed a hold the Samsung S9 and wanted to upgrade my phone. When I went in, the lady told me that I would need a leasing I.D. I told her that I would return with it. I wasn't even gone for an hour, only for 30 minutes. I went to the library, filled out the form, and then started to head back. The store said they closed around 8pm, I had arrived at 7pm. I went to open the door, and it was locked! They closed an hour early! I won't be returning to this store and I will be canceling my service. Thanks a lot.... read more

Very unprofessional staff. The manager was very short, seemed like he had better things to do than answer my questions, used a lot of slang and was pushy in trying to get me to agree to plans and accessories I didn't need.
