We had come in to purchase a new galaxy 7 flip and debate which plan I should transfer to or start a new plan all together. (Spoiler alert I chose not to purchase the new phone nor picked out a plan) the guy who came up to us didn't even take us to a table, but just to the side, seemed very uninterested and only had vague answers to payment questions. Hours of looking online for answer I tried the store in Covington. Got the answer that fixed my problem but still had to go back to Tukwila. Bottom line.... Don't expect to make payments on your own schedule when disconnecting from Verizon. They have this evil tactic called "Backup Payment Plan" - whenever you share a credit card with them, they retain the "right" to bill it, in perpetuity, and get updates from your bank or credit union to bill any card that replaces it, whenever they want. I hate Verizon billing practices and advise every one to avoid doing business with them. read more

A very first time going to this store to purchase a couple of new Smartphone devices. When we entered, there was just one other customer inside, so one of the representatives came over and began helping us. We were looking for a new iPhone 13 Pro and a Samsung Galaxy A12 phone. They did not have the A12, but had an A02s. Seemed alright since it was for a present. The iPhone 13 Pro was available, so I wanted the 256 GB one in Graphite. Used my $60.00 Device Dollars, too. The Asian guy who helped us was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different products. Had an easy time buying the phones and getting what we wanted at this store location. Proper English was not available in her vocabulary! "I mean your probably not eligible because of your current contract". "I um, don't know but um probably not". Honey #1 didn't ask you that, # 2 answer the question asked and #3 go back to school and learn proper English! This was a request for information not a comparison of my plan. I hate it when companies lie to you and then don't care. I've been a customer of Verizon for several decades. They're more expensive than other cellular companies by a large margin. And the only thing they used to have is better service area. That's really no longer the case. I had called their 800 number to have three devices removed from my account because they hadn't been used in a long time. During that call I asked if there were any promotions for device upgrades. I had been told that I could receive a $600 credit on a new device trading in my phone. I already had an appointment at this store, so I waited until I went there. I was assured that I'd be able to get that deal in the store. When I get to the store I get told that the trade-in deal is only for people on a far more expensive plan. I also get told that they can't modify my plan because of the pending change from the device removal earlier in the day. So the only thing I walk out with is a piece of paper instructing me to call the "Loyalty Team". The paper listed their open hours wrong and I ended up calling them a minute after they were closed for the day. Needless to say that the Loyalty Team didn't do anything but offer me a slight discount on the much more expensive plan. So I'm going to another company, got $600 off my new phone without a trade-in (from the new company), and will be paying a third of the cost I was monthly going forward. If you don't take care of your customers, don't expect them to stick around. I should have made a move way earlier. Don't let these elitist jerks charge you too much for bad service. read more

I need to make an alpt because phone customer service is useless and I can't make an appt cause the number listed on Google for the store is actually just the number to phone customer service. After 3 months of getting charged for an account I don't even have with Verizon, being told I need to go to a store in person, and now I can't reach the store to make an appt so I don't go in and have to wait and lose my damn mind for how much of my time has already been wasted because of THEIR mistake and I can't even do that. The call was dropped and still no one would help me; since I wasn't purchasing anything, just making changes to my account, I was ignored. Since switching to Verizon from ATT I have had to deal with several Verizon stores in several states and this is the best one I have ever been to. I have had a virtual nightmare scenario when I first got my phone four months ago and I am now on my third phone and possibly a fourth! I had spoke to over 7 different techs on the phone and dealt with staff in multiple offices in Washington and Oregon. Fortunately for me I was able to find Cory and he helped get things done for me! I want to take the time to thank Cory Beck for always being professional and going the extra mile for me. Being in the phone store is never a pleasant experience but Cory not only knows his stuff, he also is able to trouble shoot things and knows ways to get things done the proper way. Today he was helping back someone up so he saw I was waiting a long time and decided to see if he could multitask and help me. We figured out that I needed to go to the Apple Store and have them do some extra stuff. So that's where I am now. At least I knew I needed to get out of there and head on over to Apple. This store is good but sometimes the music is a bit too loud for me. It was next to impossible to even hear what was being said sometimes. It looks like that has changed now. I was greeted by a very polite young man who was smiling... That totally made me feel like not losing my cool and he put me at ease. He came over several times to check on me and let me know my place in the cue. I have had some horrible experiences with phone providers in places overseas that would make most of you shudder from the unchained crazy and habitual lies that would make your head spin. I never get that nonsense here. That is why I drive here over other Verizon Wireless locations. Thank you Cory for always helping fix things! Located in the middle of the plaza, they are right next to the Five guys and DSW. I always had good service here. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by a staff member. If they're busy, which they normally are, they will get your phone number and log you into the waiting list. A team member will approach you when they become available. I've come to this location a few times to upgrade my devices and change my plan around. Each time was simple and very knowledgeable. I didn't have unlimited data for the longest, because I never had to upgrade or a reason to change it. My plan was going to be cheaper if I did, and now I have unlimited data. I've upgraded my tablet here, with the option of trading my old one in as well. My most recent stop was to look into either another smart watch or a tablet. I went for the tablet. The gentleman assisted me by answering all my questions, and getting it set up for me. I even had an offer to save some money on my purchase, which was wonderful! Also, my smartwatch was dead when I walked into the store, and I was able to charge it up while I was shopping. How convenient! There are some issues where yes, you'd have to go through their customer service. Anything that concerns purchasing a new device, adding a line, paying a bill, those folks are there to help. read more

I bought a phone from The Verizon store in Tukwila ,Washington. The phone wasn't functioning with talk over wifi, so I tried to call the verizon customer service number. After 3 hours of trying to get ahold of someone I gave up. I instead went to the location with my Father in law who is also on the account. One of the people there tried to get my phone working but he admitted it was broken. He admitted it was broken when I got it! he tried to refund the full amount as I did not want the same brand of dysfunctional phone. only the tax amount was refunded back to my card, not the 50 dollar price of the phone. He told me that the 50 dollars would be refunded back to the bill. I agreed to this, and explained that if it was not, I would return so they could fix it. they money was not refunded, so again we went back to the store. This time with my Father in law, and my mother in law. I talked to the associate again, he explained that it was a mistake in the system, and that the 50 dollars should have returned to my card because the phone was bad when I got it a few days earlier. he said this to all 3 of us. He said that he would talk to the manager and that the manager would get the refund done back to the account. on 01/15/2020, I called and asked to speak to the manager concerning this situation, and asked why my money had not been returned. He told me that he cannot return that money because its a restocking fee. and that the restocking fee was on the receipt. I explained that his employee had promised the return without restocking fee because it was a defective product. He just kept repeating that its not the policy. I explained that charging a fee for the return of a defective product is not ok. he was rude and told me that he cant talk any more about the account because I'm not the primary on the account. He then hung up with me. I called back again and said that he needed to call my mother in law and then talk with her about this because its not going away and I expect for his company to do what it promised. he promised to call right away to my mother in law and I gave him her number. he never called, and they are closed now. Verizon has scammed me out of my money. I have already switched to another carrier because of Verizon's horrible customer service on this and stealing my 50 dollars. I will be doing all avenues concerning this situation including the BBB, Filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals of the state of Washington. and possible litigation in small claims court. Their actions have been horrid and I believe they have broken sales laws for this state by refusing to give the money back on a defective item. read more

I was working with JC and David. Both business specialists. I tried out the One Talk system which DOES NOT work and is not reliable. After getting the product it failed. I lost all phone service and got a lot of bad customer complaints in the process. Then thinking they fixed it, I left for my vacation. My WHOLE vacation I was dealing with disgruntled customers and Verizon's shotty phone service and 2 business sales reps that wouldn't return calls or texts within reasonable amounts of time. At the moment, the issue is still not resolved 5 days later. Leaving my small business with little to no phones. I run a service company which relies on phones. Ill start this by saying I am so thankful I am an AT&T customer. I really considered switching to Verizon because of recent issues with the Direct TV merger. I have both Direct TV and AT&T wireless. I decided to stick with AT&T but wasn't happy with the selection of cases they had for the Galaxy S7. My boyfriend is with Verizon so I decided to go there and get a case and screen protector since I liked his. I got my products from the Verizon corporate store in Federal Way on 10/31/2016. There was a small dot under the edge of the protector...I didnt notice it till I was far away from the store. I figured it was a piece of dust and I could get it out later the way they showed me how to if it happened. On 11/1/2016 that little dot spread into a pretty large crack. Less than 24 hours after I purchased this protector, I went to the Verizon corporate store in Southcenter (not the mall) he told me he would swap it out. Then he noticed that the other store gave me a small bundle discount and told me there was nothing he could do and I needed to go to Zagg in the mall. Which I did. I get told there that I have to pay installation of $12.00, that is more than the discount I received on the product. I then when to the Verizon corporate store in the mall. The man there, his title was "Solutions Manager", was a complete jerk. He said well we cant do anything for you either. Just pay the installation fee for your replacement at Zagg. I said to him that I didnt feel that was fair based on my situation, he then stated "What does it matter? You got a discount anyways" SERIOUSLY??!! By this time I was SOOO upset and left. I go back to Zagg and explain the situation to the lady there again. She was very nice and said she would make something happen for me which she did. She did a 10 day installation warranty as though they did the install of the protector. She installed my new one perfectly and made sure I was taken care of. She also let me know that she has had this same issue with Verizon being very unreasonable in situations like this. read more

I bought my phone here 2 years ago and remember it being a good (if not unremarkable) experience. Time to upgrade, so back I went! We worked with Cory- he is the bees knees. If you go here, ask for the Cory and he will hook you up. He worked it out so that we could get 2 phone upgrades for about what I expected to pay for my new phone, and he helped us adjust a detail on our plan, which actually ended up taking $15/month off of our payment . The bundling/deal that we got required that we take these little WiFi-Hotspot gadgets, which I had no interest in, but whatever. Buying a phone doesn't have to suck. Last May I went to replace my broken phone. I was trying to pay in cash for the cheapest smart phone in the store. The sales person says he can get me more data and some "free" stuff for the same price as the phone. He says that there is no contract and if I cancel before two years, I'll just pay the balance on the phone. He set me up with a second number to make this happen. I forgot about that second line because I never used it. I switched carriers and paid off the phone but was still having an automatic deductions. After investigating and calling to have that second line cancelled, they told me that I had to pay a $160 early termination fee because the line was under contract. They told me that the line had been set up to prevent me from receiving an early termination fee on the primary line which was wasn't even cancelling. I just went in to buy a phone in cash. So. Don't get ripped off by this store and I recommend getting away from Verizon as well. T-Mobile has been cheaper and my coverage has been better. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for over twenty years. I went to this store to buy a new phone. A sign at the door said wait for a customer service representative, which I did. He opened the door and I proceeded to enter the store, or so I thought. I was abruptly stopped from entering the store and was told "Now hold on a second, I have to check you in; now what's the problem?" Maybe it's me, but when a customer shows up at your door, refusing them entry and demanding to know what 'the problem is" before you will allow them to enter IS MORE THAN RUDE! I did choose to exercise my right as a customer and will take my business elsewhere. I enjoy the wireless service and coverage. This store needs to rethink how they treat their customers. read more

I moved to Washington from California 5 years ago from California and they are telling me I have to pay CA taxes on my Washington state phone number. Yes a 206 area code must pay an tax in another state. So verizon has been charging me over $8.00 a month In california taxes for a Washington state phone number and even though I am a resident of Washington state and have a Washington state area code and phone number. This sounds illegal to me and I plan on a follow through with legal actions. I am going to be filing a complaint with the FCC read more

After having my iPhone battery get so hot it scorched the back I went in to try and get the problem fixed. Not going to lie, I was a little upset with the fact that regardless of the situation I would have to pay for it. I went in and Vincent was super helpful and got me all hooked up and set up with a new phone, they even took my seriously defective one and applied the trade in to my new one. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I went into this location on Saturday June 24th due to the fact that my Samsung Galaxy S7 screen had turned black but my phone was still functioning flawlessly. I explained to the rep what happened and what I observed on the phone. I have had the phone for a year this August, it is in PRIME condition, I got a glass cover for the screen which protected it completely, I have had my phone in an otterbox case since i got it and let me tell you this phone looks brand new! She took off the screen protector and said the same thing 'phone is flawless; let me just have my manager take a look' Moments later she returned stating the manager noticed a crack in the screen. I looked at my boyfriend confused-examined the phone very clearly and saw nothing of the sort. I told her no, I'm sorry but you're wrong, there is nothing wrong with my screen. She insisted that there was damage to it which was going to cost me $500 to replace. I took my phone from her, thanked her for her 'diagNONSENSE' and told her I will be getting a second opinion on this. My guy and I took off to RENTON at the LANDING Jose helped me, I told him what happened at the Tukwila location and he apologized. He let me know to file a formal complaint-which I will be doing next-and said my phone was in pristine condition. I have been with verizon for the last 10 years NEVER have I been so dismissed and disregarded by a location. The sad thing is this is the closest one to my house and now I will be driving the 20min out of my way to ensure I never go there again. read more

The sales rep (tall goofy one with the jerry curl in his hair and shaved sides like some generic version of kid n play) gave me a dirty look like I would actually try to steal his garbage give away phone. The guy comes off all smiles and laughs but be careful or you'll get duped like I did. I bought a new phone and he told me I get a $200 tablet for free. Sweet, right? Wrong. What he meant was I get a $200 credit towards anything I want but Cory here didn't specify that. So when I get a text from Verizon saying I'm eligible for that account credit, I go in to see what's up and the scumbag actually has the gall to charge me a $35 restocking fee for a tablet I never even really wanted. I get that you're trying to push the product, man, but maybe don't con people into buying it next time. I still love Verizon but I'm damn well never dealing with Cory again. read more

This is the second experience I have had at this store. Both have been fantastic experiences from start to finish. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. I was told how long the wait would be right away. I can't remember the first guys name but Daniel helped me today and he was awesome. Sometimes it's boring waiting for plans to be changed and all that and he made sure to talk to me the whole time. He was funny and friendly and seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He was very knowledgable on what needed to be done to get the results I wanted. He took the time to make sure I was all good to go account wise. He answered every question I had. I honestly have a Verizon store closer to me but I have had such great people help me at this one I really won't go anywhere else. read more

I just took a defective phone there, they tested it and told me to call the 800 number for a replacement. When. I called the 800 number they said there was no record of my issue... I called 3 different stores later in the week to find a USB cable to transfer and no one ever answered after holding for almost 1.5 hours. I have also been ignored when I walk in the door for service and upon confirming Verizon received my old phone, they proceeded to call me for 2 weeks after, telling me they had not received it and were going to charge me. These guys are AWESOME! Very friendly staff that are knowledgeable and take the time to answers any questions you may have about your phone or plan. It is obvious that these guys don't work on commission. If you are looking to buy a new device or looking to switch to Verizon this is the store you want to go to. Cory helped me on two different occasions to get the phone my fiancé and I wanted he ported in our numbers from T-Mobile and set up our new account with Verizon.
