No active 4G phones to play with. You can tell this is not a Verizon corporate store, as the staff are not as knowledgeable.

About 2 years ago I was sold a defective $900 phone with a Bluetooth problem where it wouldn't stay connected in my car. They used up their "14 day return policy" with various attempts at fixing it. I spent at least 10 hours on the phone with Verizon techs. Went back to the store probably 15 times. Finally I DEMANDED a new phone and said I wasn't leaving without it - and got one - which worked fine (Galaxy S9+) This year I added 2 lines, got 2 new phones, and at their direction and quotes, switched my plan with a promise of lower fees. My bill jumped from $310 to $498! Another ~10 hours on the phone with Verizon, to find out what TCC had promised me was complete baloney. Another ~10 visits to the store to be met with blank stares and promises to "contact the billing department" - which they apparently never did. Promised me calls back each time, which they also never did, on at least 4 or 5 of those occasions. When I returned to see what happened, "I contacted them and they didn't get back to me". Baloney, utter bollocks . I'm reasonably sure as soon as I walked out the door each time, they simply moved on to the next customer. I ended up "fixing" the billing issues myself, but not at the rate they had promised me if I renewed with them (about $40 more per month than they had promised/quoted me. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I can't deal with this place ever again. Tried to support a local business, they failed utterly on me twice. Nice counter personalities can't substitute for good service and delivering what they promised. This has been a horrible experience now - twice. Fool me twice my fault I guess. Why I went back this year I don't know, and from now on I will deal with the actual Verizon company store - since I had to fix the issues they caused me with Verizon myself anyway. They did virtually nothing to help after the sale was complete except lip service each time I returned to ask for help. No longer can recommend anything about them - they're "nice" but?????

I got a "free" phone in February for my son who is currently living in France. I explained that he needed to add an eSIM card for that country and was told that the phone would automatically unlock after 60 days. I was told this on 3 different occasions. When it did not unlock, I returned to the store and was told that I needed to talk to Verizon since they could not unlock it. I called Verizon and they said that their policy stipulated that I would need to pay full retail for the device in order to unlock it. I returned again to this store a few more times and was told that they we were not aware of the policy. In addition they twice told me that the Verizon policy changed after I bought the phone. When I asked to be shown that date that it changed, they googled the Verizon policies and they were obviously wrong. Maybe they were just ignorant or they lied to me. Either way, they, including the manager, said there was nothing they could do for me. Verizon's corporate store is in Albany which is the place I should have gone. Avoid this store and make the short drive.
