Prior to this, I had done some research and purchased a couple of books to try to get a rough approximation of what the coins were worth, but wanted to get a professional opinion. Ron definitely knew his stuff; he's been into coins since he was a kid, and his knowledge was very apparent. He went through my coin inventory, gave me prices he'd pay if we were interested in selling, talked shop for a bit, and didn't charge me a dime. If we do decide to sell anything, he'll be the first place I go. And if you're interested in buying, he has a nice inventory of coins for purchase.
