Beware: this is a third party seller of Verizon plans whose employees and managers are not aware of Verizon policies. I got a "free" phone in February for my son who is currently living in France. I explained that he needed to add an eSIM card for that country and was told that the phone would automatically unlock after 60 days. I was told this on 3 different occasions. When it did not unlock, I returned to the store and was told that I needed to talk to Verizon since they could not unlock it. I called Verizon and they said that their policy stipulated that I would need to pay full retail for the device in order to unlock it. I returned again to this store a few more times and was told that they we were not aware of the policy. In addition they twice told me that the Verizon policy changed after I bought the phone. When I asked to be shown that date that it changed, they googled the Verizon policies and they were obviously wrong. Maybe they were just ignorant or they lied to me. Either way, they, including the manager, said there was nothing they could do for me. Verizon's corporate store is in Albany which is the place I should have gone. Avoid this store and make the short drive. read more

I would give this store zero starts if not for Chase, the star employee. Otherwise, this store is awful. Do not trust anything they say. I signed a contract and have been charged more than $50 more each month for the last seven months than what I agreed to. I have been to the store each month, every month, promised a resolution, then nothing. I have filed two complaints with Better Buisness Bureau. Save yourself. Do not come here. read more

I have been going to THIS store for about 12 years. I have always had very knowledgeable people and the most amazing customer service! Austin is the most patient person I have ever had to work with. I know when I walk in that door they are pleasant. This office is usually pretty busy but I think they do an excellent job working thru the people. I also believe that (Austin is who I have worked with the most) try and explain everything and always suggest but NEVER force anything on me. I have 4 phone and 2 Ipad/laptops on my account. Even if I go in not understanding how to work something on my phone they are ALL very helpful!!! I will not go into another store! I am a very happy customer! read more

PHENOMENAL customer service!!! We went in to get a technical issue fixed that had been an inconvenience for over 2 years. Wesley knew exactly what to do and how to help us. He was extremely knowledgeable and advocated for us when phone support failed to be able to solve the problem. On top of fixing our technical problem he also saved us $12 a month on our phone plan. read more

My experience at this store has been appalling. My family and myself were disrespected by the representatives here (cutting us off in conversation, talking over us, not willing to explain what was going on and instead talking in a condescending tone) when we questioned discrepancies with our bill that were brought to our attention. I had attempted to contact the store multiple times after switching back to Verizon regarding a ghost number that had been set to my new device and then reflected on my bill (an unnecessary step) when I had my old number ported over from my previous carrier, a trade-in credit that did not reflect what the store manager had told my father he could work with at the time of the transaction, as well as what appeared to be "extra charges" on my bill. When I asked for assistance with these discrepancies or an explanation, I was referred to Customer Care (611). After speaking with Customer Care multiple times regarding the discrepancies found, I was told that although the "extra charges" were questionable they wouldn't be able to ensure that the store would issue the refund. Customer Care explained to me that there was no reason for the representatives at this store to be referring me to contact Customer Care. They stated that this store would be the only one that could address the questions that I had and they also expressed concern about how the store was handling the situation. The last time I had contacted this store, I had received verbal confirmation from a representative that there were errors on my bill and that a manager would be in touch. I have still yet to receive a call from the manager regarding my transaction in December and it has been months. After explaining the entire situation to Customer Care, I had asked how I would go about filing a formal complaint since the store was not willing to engage with me. Customer Care encouraged me to obtain the General Manager's contact information in which my family had attempted but was blatantly told, "No" by the store manager. I had to call Customer Care, once again, to inquire about the contact information which I was told was reluctantly provided. Unfortunately, this experience at this store and with these representatives has left a lasting impression. I am very disappointed in how my family and myself were treated here. I did feel that it was pertinent that people know how the representatives at this store treat their customers and would definitely recommend going to the Verizon store in Albany instead of this poor alternative. read more

Your stereotypical scumbag salesman work here. Will conveniently forget to include your device dollars and will add the protection you specifically said you didn't want, all so they can increase their commission on someone else's dime. They think people are too stupid to notice this scummy amateur sales tactic. read more

Yikes! The employees here are unprofessional and not up to date with Verizon policies. I went in today with a malfunctioning iPhone. I was told on the phone by Verizon that I could get it replaced due to the model being recalled. Upon arriving to this location, I was told by a very rude employee that I had to pay them $150 out of pocket for an upgrade. If this wasn't enough, the employee I interacted with was short with me. He spoke over me, interrupted me, and denied any knowledge of Verizon's replacement policies. I ended up figuring it out via phone with Verizon and they are shipping my replacement now. While I was on the phone, the employees ignored me when I asked questions, and stood around in a group on their phones most of the time. Would not recommend! The workers here are incredibly rude, and have little knowledge of Verizon's actual policies. read more

This the worst Internet Provider and the shadiest. I signed up for the 30 day free trial. Later that afternoon I found a company $50 less a month. Now I just want to cancel and return the unopened modem. When I call customer service I have to sign up online or have my password or no talking to anyone. I've tried to sign up and it says this isn't the information they have on file or it doesn't recognize me at all. The man in the store where we signed gave me no account number. When I called the store they couldn't give me, text me or email the number. They had no manager. The guy who signed up typed wrong numbers and are now texting advertisement to my daughter's number when it was only an emergency contact. No matter what I do my info is not recognized so no. I just want to cancel my 30 day trial and return the modem. This company sucks in the worse way. They made the mistake entering information but I have to drive to a corporate office to cancel. read more

If i could give zero stars, i would. Absolutely horrible experience. The sales person (Austin, yes I'm calling you out) put screen protectors on ALL our devices that we did not ask for and then charged us for them with out us knowing ($240 for screen protectors??) (We also had our baby with us, so we were distracted, and he took advantage of this). They said they could price match our phone cases after we initially declined to purchase those too, so we picked some out, and they did not price match them. I went back to talk to them and was kind until I realized they just denied any fault, did not apologize, and they even lied to the Victra help line team saying they had tried contacting me after I submitted a claim but they never did. Multiple help claims have been submitted since as well, and I still have yet to hear from "Leadership". read more

The worst customer service. I got charged an extra $170 on my first two bills after an upgrade because they did not properly explain how it worked, and when I called for clarification they hung up on me. Go anywhere else for help. read more

The next day I was referred to Verizon as my current company wont allow me to start up a new line with my phone number. I talked with Austin & he was friendly, professional, & helpful & I would consider this company after interacting with a pleasant helpful person. Going forward I will be weary of unhelpful salesmen with poor customer service like the girl & boy working Thursday night (January 20th) at Timberhill shopping center read more

Like being lied to, misled and overcharged? Then this is the store for you. Choose to work with Austin. I am a careful consumer, and the process of upgrading our 4 family phones was something I carefully researched. My mistake was working with Austin in this store. Austin lied to us, gave us false information, and changed items in our Verizon account that doubled our phone bill without our permission. Quick tip, if you do go into the store DO NOT let the mworks screen protectors be applied to your phones without your consent. They are $60 each in store, $240 for a family of 4, and can not be returned. (The same screen protectors are $10 at the mworks website, not $60). There are no price tags on any items in the store like phone cases, and, yes, this should have been our first sign that something was amiss. Austin told that there was a great deal on accessories, and we had $55 to spend per phone because we were trading in our phones at this store. (Nope- you have to SPEND $194 to get the $55 credit, but we only found that out 2 hours later.) Additionally one of our phones was not traded in correctly so initially we got no trade in value, we worked to fix this, and then a $180 fee showed up on our next bill that has led to more than 2 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service agents to try to resolve the issue. Does all this sound like fun? If so, sign up for an appointment with Austin at this Verizon store today. read more

For customer service this store can't be beat Andy spent 40 minutes helping me to customize my Droid Incredible. He was patient, very knowledgeable and pleasant. I will never go anywhere else for cellular service. read more

The young, professional, knowledgeable staff have consistently worked hard to make sure I'm happy with my phone and service. It can get pretty busy in the store so a short wait isn't unusual. I tend to go during off-hours and have not yet had to wait. read more

Verizon - Store front - Mobile Phones Near Me - Corvallis, Oregon

They really don't give out the information that is really needed as far as how Verizon works thru their franchise. Sold me a phone with a bad battery and refused to listen. After not quite 2 years of that it died, still not paid off and no recourse. There was much I could've done if I had had the information, my bad for being clueless of course but they could have helped and not blown me off. Also, would not honor a promotion that started the day after I bought the phone. Luckily a better skilled go wireless store knew how to make it work. Bottom line: go to a Verizon Corporate store read more

Very rude and unprofessional. Went to purchase a phone without a contract and they told me it's against policy to sell phone without contract. When I said where is this policy , the manager stated that it's a secret policy. I do not recommend this business! Shame!!! read more

Not a Verizon corporate store. They do not inform upfront regarding their no refund policy.

Clearly a pattern of poor customer service at this location. I just switched to Verizon and I brought in my old phone for trade in. The store didn't process the trade correctly and has since lost my old phone costing me $200 in trade in value. I have called multiple times and every time I get the same story, they will look and call me back. Surprise, I have never received a call back. I have spoken to the store manager and staff yet never get a call back. When I went to the store I dealt with AUSTIN and he was completely unprofessional. Claiming the store manager wouldn't be available for 4 days and there was no other person to contact for help. When he supposedly called the manager he didn't leave a voicemail and then flipped out refusing to help me and told me to leave the store. I called Verizon and when she called the store he refused to give his name and hung up on the Verizon rep and then wouldn't answer when she attempted to call back again. Something needs to be addressed at this location. Highly advise against going here at all costs. read more

I got stung bad by their "policy" a couple years ago - I bught a cell phone I didn't like, returning it was a nightmare, in spite of a policy that gave you 15 days or something like that. They refused to refund the insurance and I had to jump thru a bunch of hoops to get that $100+ back. I ended up with a credit of $50 which I tried to use about a year later for an accessory - and they told me it had expired. Soured on this, I wouldn't buy a cell phone there again. And one more thing - it irritates me to no end to have the salesperson stopping several times during "helping" you to answer text messages from his girlfriend or whoever, and I finally told him if he did it again I was going to walk out "Leave your cell phone alone until you are done with me or I'm leaving!" read more

Lauriana was very helpful and straightforward with us about changing our phone plan. I really appreciate that! She was very sensitive about taking up too much of our time so she kept us informed about how long the process would take. That's so helpful. Better to run a couple errands then just wait and wait and wait in the store. I also noticed that the store was very well staffed and nobody waited long to be helped. The staff worked well together. Great customer service! Thank you so much!! read more

These guys are so helpful. If you've got to use Verizon, this is the place to go. I got a hard sell from one of the other stores in town, but here they gave me the information I needed and my options. Not just the option that resulted in the highest cost. read more

This place might be fine for many average situations, but just be aware that they don't have a clue about current Verizon policies. I was in the position of having my mother pass away and I went to this store to see how I could end her service. After wasting 4 visits there and being told unnecessary steps to provide a death certificate and to pay off a plan penalty or 2 months of service it turns out I didn't need to do ANY of that. As a result I threw away $113 ($35 for a copy of the death certificate and $78 for a month of continuing service) I didn't need to and wasted 10 days of waiting for nothing. The best, and last, advice I received from the store manager was to "go to the corporate store in Albany." When I did all I needed to provide was my driver's license and the phone. It took 2 minutes and cost nothing. Done. The 3 guys that tried to help were friendly enough, they just don't know about Verizon policies. Be warned. read more

Horrible customer service--at least when there's cute girl "customers" to chat up. Very disrespectful and lazy.

I switched over from AT&T because I've heard good things about Verizon, The sales man (don't remember his name) was patient and very smart with technology. I switched over on the time where I would get a $200.00 credit and I NEVER GOT IT! I kept coming in for one and they would say "Our district manager is a very busy person and we'll contact you soon as he gets your $200.00" It's been a year...never heard a damn thing and annoyed by it. Most likely will be switching back... read more

This used to be one of my favorite stores. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very service focused. Unfortunately, those folks are gone and have been replaced with people who know the products and plans but are not interested in establishing a relationship for future business. I bought my phone here, my car charger, my protective phone case, a wireless speaker and now I'll have to look for another place where people care. Today, there are a lot of places to buy product. This will not be one of them in the future. read more

The service at this location is terrible. The person who came to help us was disinterested and wildly unenthusiastic. Verizon and all other verizon dealers are currently offering discounts on the iphone 6 because of the pre-release of the iphone 6s. This salesperson told us they wouldn't offer the lower price on old phones, even though verizon directly will, until the new iphone 6s was actually in their inventory. We brought this up and the guy literally turned around and walked away. We won't go back. Ever. read more
