9-6-2024 purchased auto battery. Had a 4 year warranty. 4-9-2025, auto did not start - not even a "click-click". Very dead battery. Tow company charged it up and said to drive it so we did for about 30 minutes and then stopped for 10 minutes. Auto would not start. Dead battery again. Got another jump and drove directly to Toyota in Corvallis. They tested it and said it had a bad cell. Toyota also tested all electrical, alternator, ignition, etc. and all was OK. Battery Plus tested and agreed the cell was bad. Gave us a replacement battery but would not extend the warranty. They said warranty starts from original purchase date and not from the replacement battery. What? Isn't this a new battery? Apparently not. That should have been a clue. But it's company policy. So sorry. 9-23-2025 replacement battery failed. What a surprise! Tow company tried every trick in the book and could not get battery to charge. Said it was a bad battery. Towed vehicle to Toyota and had it tested and they said it was a bad battery. Had Toyota put in one of their batteries and took dead battery back to Battery Plus. We wanted our money back but they said it only had a 30 day return policy. (company policy) Really? Said we could contact Duracell to see if they would refund any money. Battery Plus would not refund any money. They said they had to test the battery themselves and they said it tested OK and we could take it back. Really? And when will this one die.....both instances were very inconvenient but Battery Plus did not even apologize for our troubles and said the battery was probably "misused" and they thought it was very unusual that we would have two batteries that failed.. Wow - great customer service! Guess they didn't want us to come back. Talked to others and they said they probably refurbished their batteries and resold them. So why would we want another battery from them???? Why would we want to do any business with them? First time in over 40 years we had issues with a bad battery. While I have had good service here in the past, today was an exception. Our car battery died and while waiting for AAA, I ordered a replacement battery from this location. It came with a 10% discount for ordering online. When I arrived, I was told that the employee had "watched a video" on how to remove and replace the battery. Therefore there was a $20 charge to remove and replace. The battery is located in the trunk of the car. I had already removed the cover plate and the hold down braket and the terminal nuts were loosened. I told the employee that I would have removed it myself but had just had surgery the day prior and lifting it out would be difficult for me. I was given a story about how much easier it is to remove one from the engine compartment so the $20 charge stood. I reached in, yanked the battery out onto the much lower and easier surface of the trunk compartment and asked how hard that was? He took the core, brought out the new battery and dropped it into the well. I was then expected to hook it up myself. which I did. I am a senior citizen and was recovering from surgery and I think at a store that specializes in battery replacement should not need You Tube to teach them how to do the job. It was the easiest battery I have replaced and I have over the years replaced many. I am now in pain from lifting the battery. read more

My daughter and I went to the store to have them do the work in replacing my tablet battery (Google'd price: $18.95). We were immediately approached by a clerk, and my daughter explained why we were there. The clerk listened, then (as she was looking for the correct battery) began hard-selling pretty much everything visible from the counter. Annoyed, I began wandering the VERY small store - and was approached by the other two clerks, in turn. This did nothing for my annoyance. Meanwhile, after my daughter agreed to purchase an unusable cell phone car mount, the clerk was explaining that the battery was not in stock and would take 2 days to arrive. When we asked the price, she quoted us $99.99 - and seemed genuinely pleased that price included the battery!! Terrible, vaguely desperate, service, wait times, and ludicrous prices? Called to ask for a quote on repair the back screen of an iPhone 11. Front screen has a slight crack but is missing no chunks, the back screen is evermore so bad by the day. The employee on the phone told me I can not get the back repaired unless I also get the front fixed. And the employee laughed over the phone when I asked why I would have to do both screens and couldn't do just the one or give me a real awnser. read more

I was needing some specialty bulbs for stage lighting. My wife came along because she thought her cell phone screen was cracked, and after looking at it, the cellular store recommended she bring it here. When she told the clerk what she thought was the issue, he abruptly told her that her screen protector was cracked, not her screen. He declined to look at the phone when she asked him to, but told her to look for herself. When we took the phone out of the case and pulled away the screen protector, we could see the screen was fine. The clerk rolled his eyes and walked away, so I never got a chance to ask him about the bulbs I needed. read more

My experiences with this store has far exceeded my expectations for quality and customer service. Every time I go in the guy there is incredibly nice and goes above and beyond. First encounter with this store: I went to every auto store in Corvallis and called Albany to find a battery for a 125cc motorcycle, none had it unless I ordered it, so on a whim I stopped by this place and they HAD IT, plus about $10 bucks cheaper. Second encounter: my keyless entry remote broke and since it was a '96 it was hard to find a replacement, not even the ford dealer had it! I was going to try a universal remote from Amazon, but again on a whim went here... well they didn't have one either, but the guy opened it up and freaking soldered it together for me, NO CHARGE. Tried to give him money and he kindly declined. The remote worked, btw. Encounter three: I needed a new light bulb for the house and was at Fred Meyers and checked the price... decided to stop by Batteries plus bulbs... Long story short the guy hooked me up with rebates and I was able to get 6 high end bulbs for the cost of the 1 at Freddy's. Encounter 4: was making a little science projet for some kids I work with, dude at the counter soldered together a bulb and wires and made a sweet battery setup, all at no extra charge. Encounter 5: guy at the counter helps me find a good replacement light setup for the truck canopy... The point I'm getting at - this place is great at customer service and prices. I highly recommend it. I have lived in Corvallis since 2008 when I started at OSU and I enjoy finding quality businesses in town. Hope this review helps. read more

I took my phone in to be repaired as it had dead spots in the screen and the LCD displays were bleeding due to damage. They took it in and botched the screen replacement and didn't return the $40 Saphire glass screen protector. Fast forward three weeks I begin to experience power supply issues where the screen and phone won't turn on or stay on or charge. I go online to fill out the questionnaire about service survey I never got around too. Put phone in shirt pocket with a pen a simple pen bend over and the screen cracks. call the next morning in a panic. Employee was dismissive and rude. Was told" I can't understand how you could go that long with a messed up phone. It seems odd." They said the only way they would help me is if I paid for the repairs again and bought a screen protector from them they would install the screen protector for free. They damaged the pins on the motherboard during the install so now the phone is toast. Just between the repair costs and non return of equipment I'm out over a $140. That doesn't count the phone pay off costs I hade to come up with so I could upgrade my phone with the carrier. over all you suck!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had my screen replaced as part of my warranty because the new one I had, had white dots all over the screen. I had it fixed and then it went to crap and now it clicks stuff uncontrollably. It's been unusable for minutes at a time sometimes. I was told it was from my phone having a slight bend, and that there's no fix but what's funny is if it's bent why wasn't the other screen clicking stuff when I got it repaired? It had a bend then. Kinda shady tho customer service is nice but their screen are complete trash. Go to spin ware if you need a screen replacement its a waste of money at batteries+ and the screens feel plasticy and cheap. But they wanna charge over $100 for them. Lol read more
