I understand they are in the business of making money, but I had a gut feeling to check one more place out. I told them I would be back if I couldn't find a better offer. I didn't go back. The second place offered me $250, just for my ring, whereas they offered me $250 for the ring, a laptop and a Nintendo switch lite. It's not a huge deal, but it's nice to keep the other items. Again, they were really nice, just not the best deal out there.

He clearly has a strong understanding of the history, mechanics, different types, and overall details that go into muskets, and it was genuinely interesting listening to him explain everything. What stood out to me most was that he didn't just give quick answers or act like he knew everything. He took the time to actually explain things and answer my questions, and you could tell that this was something he was genuinely passionate and well-informed about. Whether it was talking about the differences between certain muskets, their historical background, or how they were designed and used, Allen was able to provide a lot of information and make the conversation really enjoyable. It's always nice coming across someone who is both knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge without making you feel stupid for asking questions. Allen was friendly, patient, and clearly knew his stuff. If you're interested in historical firearms, especially muskets, I'd definitely recommend talking to him. It was one of those conversations where I walked away having learned a lot more than I expected.
