Honestly, worst retail experience I've ever had in my 43 years here on planet Earth. Just wanted to buy a new iPhone. The salesman insisted on setting it up. He was unable to do so, but did manage to change my Apple ID ( without telling me) and sign me up for additional cloud storage. 5 hours later I was still in the store and finally figured it out myself. Called in today asking if the store had a iPhone 7 32 gig in stock. Verizon specialist informed me it is in stock, come on in and will be able to assist. Came into the store at 7:30pm..specialist did not seem interested at all in helping me find this specific iPhone or any phone at all. Specialist then proceeded to call another employee whom told me he could help and handed me the phone. Person on the phone said the young man in the store would be happy to help. Young man in store said does not have an iphone 7. Overall poor communication and execution by this Verizon team. read more

My wife and I went into the store to get SIM cards for our new phones and Collin could not have been more helpful, pleasant, and easy to work with. We ended up getting new cases and he hung in there with us through the pretty complicated transfer process, all while graciously handling other customers. read more

My wife and I needed new phones after five years. I was dreading the process. Michael, at our local Verizon store, here in Bexley, changed my world. I'm not sure how but he was able to work us through the entire process without missing a beat. Several other customers needed attention at different times and they all left happy, and I barely noticed. I did notice they all knew him by first name. This front guard of any large company is the most important part of the program. Michael is making Verizon work on a person to person basis, day in and day out. We recently upgraded two phones at this store. Amazing customer service experience. Chad supported us both times, and he was patient, knowledgeable, and supportive, and but the full staff seem just as personable and competent. There was no high pressure to up-buy things, just courteous information sharing of the products available. I used to only go to Verizon corporate stores expecting top customer service. Walked in with my Father to find out some information for his account as suggested by customer service. The store manager who appeared to be the only person working was on a phone call regarding phone features. My Father stood at the desk for five minutes and the guy carried on his phone conversation without even acknowledging my Father's presence -- no "I'll be with you momentarily" or "I'll be a few minutes, feel free to look around" or anything which I found to be extremely rude and dismissive. We could have been in there to purchase something and this character would have missed out on a sale for a phone call that was barely business-related. We decided to up and leave after standing there without being acknowledged and he was still on the phone as we left! He didn't even say "thanks for stopping by" or anything. I'm not one for complaints but as someone who works in the customer service industry I found this behavior to be unacceptable. Do not expect exceptional service from this location as other reviewers have stated unless you're lucky to have someone other than the guy who was there today. read more

So, our family have been verizon customers for years. Recently we have had several disappointments regarding our service. When we went into the Verizon store on Main St in Bexley to discuss purchasing new phones because our contract was up, we were met with some challenges. Because this is a third party store, the policies are different and often times they don't have products on hand, which is what we encountered. Although we had amazing service from the retail salesman who was trying hard to guide us through some alternative options, when we asked to speak to the store manager, we were not pleased. He was not pleasant, he seemed to be very blasé when we expressed our frustrations and he basically dismissed us. If it wouldn't have been for our actual salesman, we would have left immediately and chosen another service provider. Be advised: Many of these stores are third party owned. If you are looking to replace a product, it's best to use a corporate store. I love my little town of Bexley, but this store made me want to switch service providers all together. read more
