Verizon said they used a 3rd party service to handle battery replacments and referred me to ubreak. According to Verizon, the earliest appointment they could schedule at ubreak was for a week from now. SHortly after getting home, I had a text message and a VM from ubreak indicating they had the order from Verizon and asking me to call them. When I talked to them, they said I DIDN'T NEED an appointment and could walk in today. When I took my phone in, they indicated that repiars would take 1-2 hours and I said I'd be back in 2 hours. About 90 minutes later, I had an email confirming that my phone was ready. The staff was extremely polite, efficent and helpful. The battery replacment was done within the promised time and I'm a "happy camper". I wasn't aware that ubreak was there but would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I did find another store that would service iPhone8's but their price was substantially higher than the price at Batteries Plus MONDAY - Scheduled an appointment for replacement of a battery in an iPhone. Got an email confirming my appointment. I arrived at the appointed time and was told that they didn't have a technician on Monday and couldn't do the battery replacement. In their defense (at least partially), they did try calling an hour before my appointment but their call was blocked by my call-blocking software. Warning - don't rely on their email confirmations. TUESDAY - I made an appointment and returned the next day. The technician (assistant manager) was prepared and had the replacement battery at the counter - ready to install. He said the installation would take 30-45 minutes. I returned 45 minutes later and the installation was complete. Very satisfied with their service Friendly staff, good service, fair price.
