I have been with Verizon for over 20 years. Have 7 lines on my account. And today, after my experience at Taylor Park Dr. Reynoldsburg, I plan on cancelling all services. I came in because a replacement phone received a day before was not working. The solutions I was given was to Pay off the phone and upgrade (9 months old and under warranty); go to Apple store to see if they can help. I asked for a manager; he said there was nothing he could do. I asked for his superior, he was unable to give me contact information. Stated Chris was the district Mgr. and I could call corporate. I asked for corporates number, told to call 611. The phone in question has been without service for 5 days and have lost a lot of business/financials due to this. The store was not busy, so they could have assisted more. I asked another gentleman if he could help me. He replied "I already heard what's going on, I can't help". He did not even consider, I may be asking something different; which I was. EVERYONE (except the female) was dismissive and rude. Because I was not spending money; as they are commission based...I was not treated as a customer. I am trying to get in contact with the district manager through corporate as advised, this location needs some additional training on customer retention. I think one star is still too high of a rate to that store! We had twice a very bad experience at that particular location! Some of the hanging around persons are very arrogant and practically useless! My wife and I had a relative minor issue with our e mail ,which was next to impossible to get resolved. The person we were dealing with claimed that Version is not allowed to work on Microsoft Hotmail. Needless to say, we went to the Main Street Mc Nathan location and here we got our problem resolved in less than 10 minutes. I am more than willing to testify my claim in person and face to face to higher Management if needed. read more

Walked in there early at open, 10:15 waited for an 1 with multiple people skipping ahead of me. Told the store manager the issue, he said he could help but after the hour a different employee came out and same nothing his manager did and couldn't help me what's so ever! I have no problem with the store which has been helpful for the many many years that we have had Verizon. Despite the excellent service, the bills, were much higher than the competition so we decided to switch to another brick and mortar store where the cost for the same service was a third less. My problem with Verizon is that there is no pro rating of the bill. Your service with them ceases when you start up with your new service. For us that meant that while I only used Verizon for one week of the billing period, I paid for three weeks that I no longer had access. That is a hefty chunk of change. And I got another bill for $1.13 for the next month even though I was told by Verizon customer service, I was paid in full. So heads up if you go with Verizon and later opt out. You pay for a full month even if you stopped service 6 days into the new month. And maybe this is worth checking into with all cell phone providers. read more

We went in to get two new phones. Both clerks - Scott and John(?) were unpleasant. John put us on the wait list. I received a text that said for service "... return to the store in 10 minutes." I returned in 9. Waited for clerk to finish with customer ahead of me. Then the clerk moved to another customer who came in after me. He, Scott, tried to tell me that because I left the store, I lost my place in line. I told him this is not what the text said. He then proceeded to call me "Honey" on multiple occasions in a condescending manner. I gave him my name, which he already had when I checked in, and asked him to call me by my name. Every time I asked him a question about the purchase I was there to complete his answers were very rude telling me he was trying to finish the quote and the answers to my questions would come, again in a very demeaning manner. I wanted to leave and go somewhere else but also just wanted to be done and get away from this person. A few weeks ago we dealt with Kevin who was very pleasant, helpful, and the reason we went back to finalize our purchase. Kevin was not in the store during our second visit. We do have to return to the store to turn in our old phones and hope we don't have to deal with Scott or John (?). This will be the last time I go in to this store. Very unprofessional experience. When I asked questions, the clerk was rude and disrespectful, making it difficult to get any helpful information. I had to be firm just to try to understand what he could assist me with, but ultimately, that got me nowhere. Highly disappointed with the service. There should be a zero star option. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Employees are very unpleasant and not helpful in adding correct plans/info to the account. Arrived at the store and the wait was 1.5 hours long. We put our name in and received a text later when we could return. Our service team member was patient and friendly. He was able to break our phone payment down with an added line,what all was included, and how much we would pay for each line. We ended up adding a line and bought three new phones, in which we ordered. He was very informative throughout the long process and kept us updated. He told us about the accessory discount which we purchased. He was focused on us as the customer rather than just selling us phones! read more

Came in to try and get a trade in and it was fairly busy, not very organized, a few people walked in and until someone asked if there was a sign in sheet an associate said its by appointment only. Multiple people kept coming in after us and no one was told until someone asked. read more

Had an appointment. Walked in and the guy put No effort into helping us. I told him we needed to add a line a get an new phone. He said we don't have that phone in stock here and you have to do that online. I said I don't know why we come to this location, no one is ever willing to help us here. I told the manager they have terrible service and walked out. We went to the Verizon in Pickerington, 5 minutes down the street. They pulled our account up and walked us though everything. Long story short, don't do to Reynoldsburg, the Pickerington location is much better. Employees are actually willing to assist you insteat of tell you to just do it online. read more

Order phone on line and was told I could pick it up at the Reynoldsburg store. Went to the store, they said they couldn't give me the phone (aren't they in the business of selling phones?) Called customer service and was told the store could give me the phone. Went back to the store and was told they couldn't give me the phone. Talked to the manager who also told me they couldn't give me the phone. Incompetence must be the corporate culture at that store. On line customer service finally sent me the phone. Mother went in to finally upgrade her old flip phone to a smart phone. On my recommendation she went with the iPhone 6. Salesperson talked her into a case, screen protector, car charger, and even a Bose blue tooth speaker that retails for $129.99. He insisted all these extras were going to be "free". He repeated this several times so there can be no confusion that he indeed said the items, including the Bose speaker were free. Mom calls from the store to ask if I want the Bose since she has no use for it. I didn't need one either. Mom asks salesperson again if the speaker and other items are going to be free. Salesperson is now overheard by me to say that the extra merchandise is free. He repeats again. Still have no use for the speaker but free is free, right? Pick a color and get the case, screen protector, and additional charger that she can actually use. Figure we'll save the speaker to give somebody as a gift. Then we get the bill. Lo and behold all the supposedly free items were not not free after all. Total charges for the free items were over $200.00. Searched for the receipt and sure enough billed the entire amount. Luckily still within the 14 return policy and the most expensive extra item , the speaker, wasn't even opened yet. Would have loved to have returned everything just on principle; but there's a restocking fee for the phone and the screen protector was already installed. Slow sales month for the salesman or just flat out high pressure sales tactics with a bit of dishonesty thrown in for good measure. Take your pick. read more

Since the opening of this Verizon store, I've been a fan. Knowledgeable staff and plenty of phones on display, to ease your decision-making process. I was just in here last week, and very pleased with my trip. I lost my 2-month-old phone. thus I had to buy a new one. The gentleman who greeted me when entering thru the door, stuck with me (and boy was I irritated, edgy, and bummed). I walked in, told him the situation, and he proceeded, without trying to upsell me anything. When starting a new contract, or changing/adding features to your plan, it is a time consuming process - there's no hiding the fact. However, I've always been serviced in a timely manor, and it's been a pleasant experience, at this establishment. And this last visit was good, indeed. read more

After unsuccessful online attempts to fix an account, several calls to customer service and more than 2 hours on hold I made an appointment at the Reynoldsburg store. My appointment was on time and the store is set up to provide appropriate distance to accommodate customers and employees. Bryce waited on me and was amazing! Verizon has officially lost a customer because of their customer service. My husband visited three different Verizon stores to look at inventory. Our contracts are about to end so we wanted to look at our options. After using an iPhone for a few years, my husband has done a lot of research and was interested in a Windows phone. All three stores did not even want to talk about a Windows phone and kept bringing him back toward the Droid even after he stated several times he was not interested in a Droid. One customer service person even laughed when he mentioned the Windows phone. My husband then visited an AT&T store and had a totally different experience. That made our decision very easy. After several years with Verizon we are now changing to AT&T. read more

Horrible Horrible service! I had to call Verizon directly in order to get patched through to the store because they wouldn't answer their phone. I finally got through to an arrogant manager who seem to take pride in talking to me like I was a four year old. We were sold a $5.00 phone back in January (with no hidden fees or charges) in turn we have been paying whatever amount they chose to throw on my bill since January. The manager should not be in the position he holds at the store. I was told by my employee that all of the staff there handle their customers in the same way, horribly! Insanely dull customer service. We were greeted with lazy sighs and horrible attitude. After waiting our turn in line, the rep approached us with the same awful energy the person who welcomed us had. I told him I wanted a new phone, without even making eye contact, just looking at his work ipad, just said "which one". Honestly, Im not that well versed with phones, so I thought I'd ask about the differences. I came specifically for a Bose Soundlink II speaker. There were a good number of customers there since it was before Christmas. I was told i would have a short wait. I made use of my time and listened to samples on the Jambox display and and wandered around with my son. A sales person name Collin popped up to assist me, I told him what I wanted and he was surprised that it was that simple and clear. While he went to get my speaker he played the store's floor model, which was behind the counter for me. My only issue is that as soon as associates saw I had a discount on accessories there was a full court press by 3 people trying to get me to buy ANOTHER speaker. They demo'd a logitech for me and were reminding me what great gifts these were etc. I get it, employees have to sell accessories but it was a bit much. I'm happy with my speaker and I would have given 5 stars, but people selling extra hard is not for me. read more

We visited the Saturday after Thanksgiving; I expected a long line and crazy customers. What we got was a pleasant and delightful experience, all made possible by Grant. We literally waited 5 minutes before Grant treated us as our assigned clerk. He was knowledgeable of the products--my husband was unsure about switching from a Samsung to the iPhone and he patiently answered all his questions. In addition, he successfully convinced us to add an iPad mini to our order (which we got for less than $100 with a promotion and phone trade in)! Once all our decisions were made Grant easily helped us through the process of switching my husband's phone from one carrier to Verizon, as well as helping install screen protectors on our devices. While we waited the store manager also stopped over to check on us. All and all this trip was made by the awesome customer service we received. I receive horrible service. I had to wait an hour to be told I needed to come back the next day for them to finish transferring everything to new phone. So I went back and waited 1/2 hour to be told the machine has not been turned on yet so it will take a while for that. So I still have no idea when I get them to get my new phone set up, but yet the charged me. To top it off I get a message from there service specialists asking how my experience was. So I give him my feedback and get no response from them. Stay away. Try anybody else you can't do any worse. read more

THE WORST Verizon location. I was told two people where ahead of me on tbe waitlist and it took well over an hour for a representative to assist me. This location will not honor Verizon contracts, advertisements, promotions, and/or pricing. I went to another Verizon location (not a reseller) and set up to pick up a new phone with trade in because that location was out of the phone color I wanted. This store refused to honor that agreement, refused to honor the current promotion of trading in a device for an early upgrade, refused to return my girlfriend's phone under Verizon's 14 day guaranteed return policy (printed on the physical receipt) and lied about their prices which I confirmed online when I left. I have been a Verizon customer for years and almost cancelled my contract on the spot due to the representatives at this location. Do yourself a favor and drive a bit further to go anywhere else. read more
