I wish I checked Yelp first! I ordered a store pickup and it's been nothing but a disaster. As everyone said, this is not a real Verizon store. I know they're going to respond and say "yeah but we have a partnership, please email blabla to get everything straightened out", but it's useless. Just avoid this store. The one fun thing though... if you like the show Severance, this actually feels like one of the rooms on that show! I'm not positive if the employees are allowed to leave or have hopes, dreams, or lives outside of the building, but I don't think that they do! Service has always been the absolute best at this Clark NJ, Verizon location!! Manager Ed has an exceptional staff- Rohit, Christian, Liz, and Calvin. I didn't purchase my new IPhone at this location but i have stopped in many times to ask questions about usage of this Apple product. Rohit is very patient and willing to answer all questions passed by him, and in a clear and concise way. Same for the rest of the staff. Avoid this store. Was not given full disclosure regarding purchase of new IPhone, with additional "free watch & iPad". Free is never free, especially either Verizon. Avoid this store at all cost! I recently purchased a new phone through this store that I thought was a Verizon store, but turns out it's an "authorized retailer" despite having "Verizon" plastered everyone across the store and no indication that it's NOT a Verizon-owned store. The incompetent sales associate Juan not only botched my data transfer and lost all of my videos, including video of my child's first steps and other priceless videos, but store management is easily the worst I have ever encountered in my entire life. The assistant manager Terrance offered me a screen protector for my troubles. A screen protector was supposed to be the solution to their own store associate screwing up the data transfer and losing all of my priceless videos. After the issue was escalated to the store manager, Edward, I truly learned this store cares nothing about the services they are provide or their customers. The incompetence and negligence exists from the top down. Not only did the store manager not return phone calls when I followed up to seek out other options to get missing data from my old phone, but he shipped my old phone back to Verizon to be refurbished after promising me that they would hold onto it in the store safe until the matter was resolved. Videos - gone forever. I had to call the store almost every day for a week to track down the manager, who wouldn't return phone calls, for him to tell me, a week later, that he shipped the phone out and I was out of luck. The videos were gone and Verizon Victra Clark would not take any responsibility nor would the store look to provide further assistance. Needless to say, I quickly went to a Verizon owned store (in Westfield), purchased a new phone through the Verizon store (receiving excellent customer service at the Westfield Verizon store), then went back to Victra and returned the phone that they had sold me. Terrance, the assistant manager, processed the return. The icing on the cake was, a month later, I got my Verizon bill and Victra had failed to process the return correctly in their own system, so I was being charged for the phone that was no longer in my possession. It took a very attentive Verizon Wireless employee (through REAL Verizon customer support) 2 days to work with Victra Clark to correct the issue on my account. Avoid Verizon "Victra" Clark. All the employees care about is selling you a phone - the sales associates and management don't care one bit about ensuring your data is transferred correctly and or take accountability for their mistakes. read more

I purchased a new iPhone, got all my data transferred over and everything went well. The sales associate handed me a bag with the boxes for the phone, screen protector and phone case I purchased. He also slipped in a power bank I did not ask for at a cost of $30. I went back three days later to return it (in the unopened packaging) for a refund. Handed it over to a different associate and he refunded the money back on my card. I had to ask for a receipt. I stupidly didn't look at it until I got home and saw he only gave me $17 back and listed the reason for the return as Buyers Remorse. It's a shady practice and turned me off to what had been a good experience. Buyer beware. I will not be back. read more

Avoid this store at all costs! I purchased two iPhones and got an email later on thanking me for the purchase of insurance on both phones. I did not sign up for the insurance nor did the salesman ever say anything about it. When I first got to the store I asked for two specific phones, the 8 and a 7 plus. I was told that they were out of the 7 plus. He tried to sell me the 8 plus. I subsequently left the store without buying anything. About 10 minutes later I got a call from the salesman saying that he went in the back and just happened to find a 7 plus. I returned to the store and made my purchase. Later on that evening I found out about the insurance. I called the store and the person that answered told me that the insurance was free for 14 days and that I should call Verizon or go back to the store the next day to get it removed. I called Verizon and was told that it was not free for 14 days and I had it removed. This is not an official Verizon store only a licensed dealer. Don't go! read more

I came to this store to upgrade my phone on a Saturday evening and there were only 3 representatives working. This is absolutely unacceptable on a weekend. I waited almost an hour only to be told that they are privately owned and won't honor Verizon and Apple store prices, they expected me to pay $100 more than what Verizon and Apple are advertising on a new phone! I asked the rep if he could call his manager to see if there was anything he could do since I had waited so long, he said there was no point calling because there was nothing anyone could do, BUT he would be happy to sell me the phone at their listed price. No one in their right mind would pay and additional $100! Avoid this store at all costs. It is not a corporate owned store, it is a reseller, which is where things get dicey. The sales rep was deceptive and signed me up for insurance which I didn't ask for, charged me a non/refundable "set up and go" fee and was pretty much just doing what he wanted on my account. I was fortunate and got help quickly, however the reps are very slow and people were leaving after waiting 30+ minutes. Poor service, deceptive charges and practices and overall shady location. I will be calling Verizon Corp and advising them of this location and the bad name that it gives its brand. read more

I had the best experience with this Verizon dealer and associate Vinny!!! I had issues with my iPhone and Vinny identified the issue immediately and showed my proof that the phones battery was no longer working. Vinny spent quite a bit of time with me and my daughter discussing my needs and usage. He was patient, friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable! He searched for the best deals for us and my plan. I left with a new iPhone 11, a charge, a new iPad 10.2 (mine was several years old and I used it every day, the button no longer worked and it was a bit small), screen protector, a case. My daughter bought a new charger pad, screen protector and case. We were so thrilled with the service that my other daughter went I. Two days later and received the best service as well!!! Went in to get our new phones. The sales women was not very clear and in the end, I would have to say deceptive. We only had to pay for the taxes on the phone, which was $70. Then she wanted to bill us $150. We got to pick a charger and case. We never asked for that. They we not straight forward with the Galaxy 7 buy one get one free offer. Got the first bill. They added insurance and international calling to my account. This was never requested not were we informed that it would be added. It was not on the account in the first place. I would avoid this store if possible. There are plenty of other places out there. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Every time I have went there (two times before) the service is non-existent, slow or pushing a bigger sale. I vowed to never go there again. However, needing a new phone and they being the only local shop having it in stock, I ordered online for same-day in store pickup via Verizon's site. However, this store refused to help me the day of (apparently showing up 15 minutes before close means they do not have to do any work). The next day, I call their number and find out they cancelled my order "in error" but could not give me any more info. Not sure if that was stupidity, human error, vindictive behavior for last night or a poor attempt to get a higher sell by trying to get me to come to the store and sit down with a rep (their proposed solution). When I said that was not what I wanted and I just wanted my money back, they cut me off, transferred me to a generic customer service line where have been on hold forever (still am...). I purchased a Google phone at the Lakeshore Blvd store in San Francisco 8/4/19. Courteous staff but I was given incorrect info. The phone was $400 online (before I went in the store) yet it was $442 in the store "because the business had to charge the fee to cover costs". Ok. Because they were unable to print an invoice in the store (no ink, I was told), I could not see the detail of the charges when I signed for it and was told that it was other fees and I could call Brandon back later with questions. When I saw the invoice next day via email, I tried to get hold of him multiple times. No one answered. When someone did answer, they said he'd be in after 1:00 pm. Unable to reach him or anyone until today. The (courteous) Store Manager said the $49.98 in extra fees (apart from the $42 price difference) were required. He apologized for the wrong information given in the store. If I had known up front that the total bill would be almost $200 higher, I may well have made a different choice. Also, when my Verizon bill came, there was another $45 charge even though Brandon told me in the store my bill would be the same. Verizon reduced it by $20 when I called them. Hidden fees and misinformation add up to a significant unplanned expense. read more

Store Manager Ed Wagner really need to take a refresher course in customer service and satisfaction. Within the past two months I purchased two Apple iphone 6S. No problem when you are making purchases! The problem came when I wanted to return a wall charger that cost $34.99. It was never used or opened, and I had the receipt. It was permanently corded and wire could not be removed. I did not realize this until I got home, nor did the rep mention it, when I made the initial purchase.... The female sales associate that initially approached me must have been new, because she did not seem familiar with a return. Another associate told her to find what I wanted on the wall, so as to avoid a return. THEY DID NOT HAVE IT, so then another associate tried to sell me an adapter. I did not want that. Then female associate informed me that they would have to deduct the $15 bundle discount from the return. I explained to her, that going forward I would not be purchasing accessories from them, since they are generally much more expensive than say Target who sells just about everything they do, from Otterbox to screen savers. She then went to get store manager Wagner, who actually asked me "well did anyone force you to buy them'? Seriously, this is the kind of customer service you give? I was not yelling or being rude, simply stating I would not buy accessories from Verizon again. I have been a Verizon customer since the early 1990's, spent thousand of dollars over the years, always paid up to date and they couldn't extend the courtesy of a $15.00 credit??? Customer service can best be measured when there is an issue, and this Verizon Wireless location is a fail. read more
