The rep who initially helped us (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) was knowledgeable and tried to help but eventually we needed a manager. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing! I had a terrible experience at a third-party Verizon store in Somerset, NJ on Elizabeth Avenue. To never return at that location is an understatement. Unfortunately, they were dishonest about a particular iPhone I had purchased. When I went into Bridgewater commons Verizon (corporate) store, my experience shifted in a more positive direction. Manager TJ assisted me with my horrific experience from the other third-party store. TJ made few phone calls, and fixed my problems. He is a God sent individual. Treated me like a person. I have been a customer of Verizon for over 20 years. Over the years, Verizon's prices has gone up with little to no return in value. If you have a problem, you are forced to interact with a robot and sometimes based on your answers provided to the robot, it may refuse to allow you to speak with a live person. Verizon has reduced the hours of operations, the reception on my phone is not as good as it once was, has tones of penalties and has removed the human in business. I do not recommend Verizon as it is the pinnacle of corporate greed and heartless approach to making a dollar. read more

Was told by Verizon customer service that only a corporate store could help me with my need to get a contract printed,, The pleasant, but ultimately unhelpful store employee, told me to call customer service back and could not help me. Ultimately it's their job to sell not do customer service, but they did nothing to try to help. Also will be interested in seeing if the store or Verizon responds that they they're disappointed that they missed the mark and hope I give them another chance versus actually resolving the issue. Looking through prior reviews it seems like they're more focused on getting another chance than actually fixing issues. read more

The sales person (Julio) at the Verizon store in Bridgewater was horrible. He was not nice at all and did not really want to help us. We went in because my son was having trouble with his phone and needed to get a new phone as he uses it for work. We went to the store in the evening and my son had work the next morning at 6am. We asked about a trade in for the phone and Julio basically told us that he did not have time to help us with that. He was also rude. He kept repeating himself as if we could not understand what he was saying. This experience made me never want to visit this store again! read more

This Verizon store was a pleasure to deal with. Every Verizon Store is different. I have had nothing but problems with my iPhone 6S and my contract was up. After numerous hours on the phone with Apple and a replacement by them 6 months ago I decided to check out a newer model because I was still having the same phone issues.( 1 million iPhone 6/6x/7/7s were recalled do to battery and other problems.) I knew it was time for me to upgrade my iPhone. I was pressed for time and my Verizon rep Antoine was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He explained the differences between the newer models and their prices along with what each phone can do. After speaking with Antoine I decided on just the X.Antoine knew all about the different phones and really helped me in my decision making. I never felt any pressure or that he was swaying me to a specific model. I really couldn't see much difference between the X and the newer XS except a hefty price tag. I didn't think the XS was worth it. The store itself is located in the Bridgewater Mall 400 Commons Way. If you go in the entrance where California Pizza kitchen is take the escalator up to second floor and it down on your left. It's best to go during the week and around 2p. Evenings and weekends will be much busier. My experience here was a good one. I was in and out in 40 minutes. Antoine explained everything to me and even put the glass cover on my new phone. He gave me his business card and told me not to hesitate if I got home and had any questions. I will definitely be returning to this Verizon Store. read more

this store is awful. I went in to inquire about my new phone and the young woman that helped me was SO rude. she shut me down while I was talking to her and refused to assist me with my issue. I was mortified. she was loud and acted like I was bothering her, and it was in front of my children too which made it that much worse. The experience in this store cemented my negative opinion of Verizon. I wouldn't buy a paper clip from them. The staff was unfriendly and incompetent. I could feel my blood pressure rising as my issue was being resolved. I hope I will never have to enter one of their stores again. Everyone was very helpful, greeted me with smiles. I was directly helped by Khafar, and he really worked with me and remained patient during my bouts of indecisiveness. I must've came at a really good time, because it was mostly empty. Verizon relocated to the other side of the mall and is now closer to Macy's. I think along with their new location, they also revamped their customer service -not that it was ever horrible; however there's clearly an overall improvement in how the store is run. I was initially annoyed that a Fios rep slid in to the conversation when I was there only for my cell phone. But then I couldn't get mad, because she was also really nice. It's as if charm is their lethal weapon over there at Verizon. I'm actually considering Fios now. I just have a few more questions. Khafar and Chelsea (Fios rep) were awesome. Anyway, stopped in today (first part of the review was regarding my visit 4 days ago), and everyone was on their A game AGAIN; therefore, the quality of my last visit wasn't a fluke. Gabby helped us, and she was very personable. Signing over a part of your life for another 2 years is stressful enough. They definitely made the process less painful. read more

Worst Verizon store around. Went in for a simple change to merge two accounts into one and they told me they don't that at the store. I have to do it myself by calling some 800 number. NO THANKS. People get real. I work for my paycheck you should try it. Get a clue and try and keep ur jobs or you'll go the way of the self checkout line and have ur job eliminated entirely. Went straight over to the other Verizon store in Bridgewater on 202 and they were HAPPY to help me. Accounts are successfully merged and I don't have to go back to the mall store. Her: $129.00 Me: We saw it elsewhere for $29. Her: (walks away) Really! This actually happens in an empty Verizon store just doors away from a packed Apple. Was at the mall the other day Saturday night recently purchased an iPhone6 . I knew the exact case I wanted which verizon has . Store closes at 9 pm as approaching the store the guy was just closing the doors despite 10 customers still remaining in the store . I told him I only want to buy a case (9:01) at this point and he told me no ! Mean while he's letting a security guard of the mall in and he's asking him questions about his phone . Well, the WAIT IS SICK. There are 2 gentleman who have been kind to me. We have been with Verizon for decades and, have my whole family has a line ect... Doesn't matter though if your a NEW customer. Went in with my boyfriend to return a simple case that was blatantly affecting the sound quality of his phone. He was met by non other than the manager Jay Bermudez. He was rude, unwilling to help and had zero empathy. Terrible customer service. As someone who works in the technology field this is not how customers who pay out of there ass for phone coverage should be treated. He made me make my mind up and switch carriers. YOUR TERRIBLE AND DESERVE TO BE FIRED. I hope someone in charge sees this and reviews how customers are treated. Your obviously commission based and care more about your own pocket. Let me start by saying that I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for well over 10 years and feel that the actual cell phone coverage/performance is pretty good. The issue I have with Verizon are their stores, and I've never had a good experience at this one, in particular. This is the store located in the Bridgewater Mall. I loathe having to go to Verizon for anything. You can't even look around because the the sales associates swarm all over you. It's borderline tacky and unprofessional. I understand it's retail, but some of the associates are ridiculous. My wife and I recently had to go here to get her a new phone. Unfortunately, her iPhone was stolen so we had to replace it. Verizon has no paperwork on their plans which is kind of comical. It's even more comical that their sales reps can't articulate what each plan entails. Their motto here is - upsell, upsell, upsell. When that doesn't work, they try to upsell. Rather than understand the customer's needs, they simply want to upsell. It was completely frustrating and it made the entire experience absolutely terrible. At times, I felt like we weren't even being listened to. We did get my wife a new phone so the trip wasn't a complete waste. In the future, I'll just stick to dealing with Verizon from other retailers - i.e. Best Buy or Apple. read more

I just have to seriously take the time to show my appreciation to a very pleasant gentleman named RICHI. I had just went to another Verizon (manville) and I asked the man for help which I know they could do and I was told specifically they would fix what I needed and let's just say he refused to do what I asked. But let me stop and continue on how awesome richi was. As soon as I walked in the store he emeditly signed me in and asked what I needed done and I told him and when I said can you do that for me???...his response was "Absolutely, no problem"! He hooked my phone up so fast and we had a nice conversation about treating people with respect and customer service. I told him over and over again how much I appreciated him for his knowledge and kindness and excellent service. And it was done so fast and his shift was actually over time because he took me as a customer and made sure I left happy. His co workers need to get some tips from him. Because I always leave good reviews if I see a hard worker going above and beyond. Because I'm in customer service as well. So thanks again for making me leave your store super happy! I went in today to review my plan to see if I could save some money given the new plans offered by Verizon. Mike greeted me immediately and looked at my account. Given my current plan and what Verizon offered, he suggested I keep my plan. He gave me honest, clear answers to why, which is much appreciated. Too often cell phone companies give you the back-door answer. Mike even found a credit on my account that was never implemented, promptly put it on my account, and even back-dated it to the start of my previous bill! Most reviews here have been negative; I have nothing but positive things to say about this Verizon location! read more

Avoid this store. Bought a new phone and they added $13 Protection plan without my authorization. Only found out when I got home and logged into my account. They put a screen shield on without cleaning the screen first so now theirs smudges under the film. Will have to remove it and possibly replace it. We wanted to disconnect one line and they told us they don't do that in the store and that we'll have to do that over the phone. Huh???? They put 2 cases in front of us and said pick one, which I promptly said no to. I'll pick my on case thank you. They push the add ons hard. These guys are the equivalent of a highway car dealer. Very rude sales reps. We had come in about 1 month ago wanting to give an old phone for credit and purchase a new one. At the time, they gave us a decent price for the old phone and wanted to go ahead with buying a new phone, telling us we could come in any time to drop off the old phone. Fast forward 1 month and they tell us the old phone is now worthless. They refused to honor our prior agreement and the employee, Sam, was extremely rude. Went to Apple who right away gave us a good deal on the old phone. Find any other Verizon to go to if possible. read more

I had several problems with my phone and numerous odd ball questions when questions that the verizon support over the phone could not help me with. I went in the store in the mall and was helped after 5 mins by Mark and was also assisted by Carlos. They were able to help me with 95% of my phone issues. They did conclude that 1 of the issues my be due to the actual phone so that will get resolved when I get a new one down the road. I was impressed but their understanding, patience and Knowledge. I Highly recommend stopping by the store and dealing with these guys. The whole issue resolution did take about an hour, but it was because my phone had to be updated and tweaked. read more

Beware: Bridgewater Verizon Store's Devices are not valid for promotions - I bought a Galaxy S7 Edge here and submitted online for the free Fitbit. After about 6 months of wasting my time back & forth between Samsung and the store, Samsung would not provide the Fitbit due to an invalid (refurbished, demo, etc.?) IMEI while the store claimed the offer should be only based on when the device was purchased, not the IMEI. Total frustration with both. read more

Ok I just left Apple with my new I-pad. Now I'm in the Verizon store in the mall. I always go to the one on rt 202 by Wegmans. But went here out of conscience. I started to punch in my name when this little guy pops up and asks for my name and punches it into his tablet. I was at the counter hooking up my service with in minutes. Wow, this store is the worst i ever encounter. We went to upgrade a phone and they pushed a hotspot and a Hum according to them for tree included with the upgrade. We tried to returned them multiple times and the store said it was free. However my bill showed otherwise. The price to desconected something that we did not need or used would be over $300. Be VERY VERY careful they will trick you to get staff that you dont need or want. I would NEVER do business in this store. read more

I'm happy to report that I had an excellent experience at the Bridgewater Mall, Verizon store today. After we had the phone fixed at the Apple Store, my son and I walked over to the Verizon store, where I met with the General Manager, Eric, who couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I relayed my tale of woe to him (see previous post) and he was able to help me feel like a valued customer again. He also said that Verizon was trying to mitigate the problems that their customers were experiencing with Assurion Insurance. Lesson learned: Don't buy insurance on your Iphone from a second party company and don't go to the Clinton Verizon. Drive to Bridgewater. It's worth the trip! read more
