    My response back to Astound:…read more I made over 7 attempts to have by quote fixed to no avail. Astound kept increasing the price from $177 to $208. So happy I am not a customer. I saw their true colors on how they didn't care and they didn't want to fix the issue. Also, ASTOUND kept saying they don't have this information on the quote. I sent their own email to them 3 times with no resolution. I believe all the bad reviews on this and other websites. ASTOUND is merging with another company if you haven't heard. ASTOUND has 3 emails from me so they have the documentation. I asked to speak to a manager and they said 24 to 48 hours wait. I have notified the Better Business Bureau as well as the Secretary of State Office in Massachusetts with complaints about their deceptive sales practices and fraud. I was quoted one price and called to get it corrected and they didn't honor the price. I was quoted a price of $177 and when I called customer service they said price was $208. in addition, they didn't believe me as the customer even though I have a receipt of the amount. Customer Service said we see $0 dollars in our system since you haven't received your bill. How can Astound expect people to accept a service without a quote. I was quoted 4 free cable boxes and remotes and that wasn't honored. Overall, the worst experience ever and happy I am not going to be a customer. Clearly, they don't care about the customer and don't know how to provide sales quotes. Don't believe their sales since they will charge you a separate price. Be aware, you are not locked in for 5 years on the price. That is only internet, so be prepared for large increases. DONT TRUST ASTOUND SALES OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY LIE ABOUT PRICING AND SERVICES.

    I felt compelled to write a review about this man... he came highly recommended by my Mom's…read moreassisted living facility in Peabody, MA. I contacted him and we spoke about services. He explained two packages to me. Because my Mom has dementia and doesn't watch much TV anymore I picked the less expensive option. We were clear on that as we spoke for an hour. When we made the date for installation, he showed up and spoke to my brother and my husband who were present during the time he installed the Cable services. Again, they both confirmed which package we were scheduled to receive. A few weeks later, I receive a notice in the mail from Comcast stating that he opted to charge me for the more expensive package. When I texted him about this he didn't apologize but acted like he was doing me a favor by making sure that we got the less expensive option. I contacted Comcast because I received another bill stating that I still owed the higher amount 1 1/2 weeks later. Leo had never updated my request in the system. In fact he was charging us way over what even Comcast would have charged us if I had just called them directly. I texted messaged him and he never responded. I explained to the facility what happened so that they would know that this guy wasn't honest with us. The facility couldn't believe what we had to say... but this is a Memory Care unit so perhaps no one caught him and his scamming ways before! We have to protect our seniors and look out for their best interests. That is why I am posting about this guy on yelp!

They sucker u in with lies etc. I finally had enough got a roku and better internet and terminated service. When I called to cancel I thought they'd try get me something like better deals or prices but nope not even sorry to lose u as a loyal customer etc. They're prices are ridiculous. And I can't understand why especially with all streaming apps and roku etc. U think they try to lower or keep their longtime loyal customers. One more thing my bill literally for top 250 nothing more was 200$ a month and if u were late they shut service off. Sad and really seems like dish is going be a thing of past sooner then later in future

But when the latch on my laptop busted, I finally stopped in. I opted to drop in here instead of making an appointment or waiting on line at the Apple Store. (I'd already stumped the Genius Bar with a problem with my iPod Touch, so I wasn't eager to wait in line for a dead end again.) There was no wait. I explained my problem, paid the $30 bench fee, and was told I'd get a call from a tech in one or two business days. Got a call the next day, explaining that they'd fixed the problem quickly and that my computer was ready for pickup! No additional fee, no long wait time. Sure, my issue was a simple one. But at other places, it might have sat on a shelf for a while before anyone had time to look at it. I'm completely satisfied with quick turnaround and courteous service. They have a free wi-fi network that also covers Sonsie, BAC, Trident and a few others. If you didn't bring your compie along, they've got half a dozen Macs to play around on. The small, light blue space is somehow airy and comfortable. They have a few beverages, but are no cafe by any means. I speculate that being an authorized Apple repair center actually pays the bills and the other stuff is just to have the distraction of people and have some sort of human contact. They also sell basic Mac accessories. Can't say much about their repairs, but the staff that I've interacted with are pleasant college kids who play non-offensive music, so work can be done. By the time you reach this end of Newbury it's a nice respite from the heat and weariness and an easy alternative to my couch-cum-office.
