I received a phone call from an associate (Thomas) at the Airport Rd in Warwick, RI location, telling me I could upgrade the 3 phones on my account for free. I went to the store and the associate working at the time gave me 3 other options, none of them matching what I was told on the phone. When I asked when Thomas was working, the associate completely shut down and got an attitude with me. I came back when Thomas was working and he was able to provide me with what he offered on the phone. I received my newest bill online and when I checked the details, I discovered a new line was added to my account. I never asked or approved a new line. The store manager is now telling me it's a digital number that was added and not another line. This is ridiculous. I will never step foot in this store again. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. To paraphrase another reviewer: ridiculously terrible service. I have been to the Warwick store and the one in Cranston at 40 Sockanosset Road. Never again. At both locations, the sales staff seems to be made up exclusively of blasé twenty-something robots. My first experience was at the Cranston store this April, where I waited over an hour to buy an iPhone. The clerk didn't acknowledge me for the better part of that hour, apologize for the slow service, etc. Finally, she processed my $500 iPhone purchase...5s phone, expensive case, 2yr agreement, without batting an eye. And after I gave her my credit card number, she had the absolute gall to make me wait for her to activate the phone until after she had taken care of someone who popped in to pay their bill. He waited all of five minutes before getting service. (Gotta get that money!!!) Cut to the Warwick store. More rude and indifferent service. I knew it was stupid, but I really needed a car charger, and went in on impulse. I just went in, said, "I need a car charger for my iPhone 5s" and the clerk brought it to the counter and rang it up. When I saw the price ($40) I almost choked. I considered stopping the transaction in mid process, but figured I could return it if I found a cheaper one online.... I left the store, checked Amazon, the official Verizon page, Best Buy and Walmart. ALL had much cheaper chargers...ranging from several bucks to $30. None were $40. For less than $20 bucks, i could get a charger at Amazon or Walmart that was also Apple-licensed. So, I decided to return the $40 charger. I never even opened the packaging. Was closer to the Cranston store, so went there again. They charged me a 10% restocking fee. When I complained about having spent lots of $$ there, being a return customer, AND returning an unopened product, they just shrugged. Policy is policy. They stated the policy was on the receipt, blah blah blah. You know, I can even understand the "re-stocking fee" on merchandise with no packaging, or cell phones, pads, etc. But a charger still in the packaging? Never even used? Please. The Verizon "Wireless" Zone stores are a franchise, and not to be confused with Verizon's own stores. For instance, the Providence Place Mall store is a Verizon-owned store. And at the Verizon-owned stores, you can return unused accessories for up to 14 days with no "re-stocking" fees. The same is also true at Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon. Believe me, I checked them all, just to write this review. So save your money and your self-esteem and go anywhere but a "Wireless Zone". . read more

How lucky I was to find Tom and the team at Wireless Zone who were able to get my phone back up and running. The whole crew is extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I came in here today to get a new phone. There was only one person working, and an early evening rush was just getting started. Rachel was patient, kind, and didn't break a sweat the entire time. She stayed calm and balanced customers beautifully while staying upbeat. I work in customer service so I understand just how hard it is to be the only person working during a rush. Great service. Matt was very helpful when I went in looking for a new phone. Would definitely recommend this location.

I went there because my phone died. Richard was very helpful in getting one sent to my home and temporarily switching my service to my old phone. When I got the new phone the girl there was very nice but they charged me ten dollars to hook up the replacement phone. Then she put the dead phone in to the return box. All was well. A couple days later I noticed there was no pen (Samsung note 5). I went back to the store. She told me I was supposed to keep the pen. This was not in the instructions and she did not tell me that before I returned it. They tried calling verizon but no solution. She told me a manager would call me. A week later no one had called. I called and got Linda who said she was the asset. Manager. She told me it wasn't their responsibility. When I raised a fuss she repeated it. Then called me back and said they could refund the 10 dollar charge. Customer service is vital to a store. A simple fix would have been to get me a new pen. They didn't care. So I can't recommend them to anyone. Because they didn't want to spend 25 dollars making me happy they have lost my business and anyone I know. read more

Last night my iPhone 6 wouldn't charge. Just an hour or so before closing I went to this store. The staff were helpful, engaging, absolute genius at knowing what to do. I got an upgrade, new phone, all my data restored and out before closing. Such a pleasure to do business there. Their Pandora stream was just perfect. Can't say enough good thing about the two folks. We waited over 25 minutes to purchase a phone. No one greeted us when we entered. Finally we get to speak to someone and the phone we wanted is out of stock. They had no sign or anything indicating this so we waited for no reason at all. Then we asked the associate to call the other Verizon stores and be wouldn't. After repeated run-arounds with Customer Service (611) representatives on the national network, I turned to Wireless Zone in Warwick and was promptly greeted by Matt D. who took the time to listen to my concerns and offered detailed methods to resolve my issue of low/no signal service while also answering my questions regarding the various Verizon calling packages which recently had taken effect. Matt assisted me with a smooth and no-pressure transition into our new calling plan which fit both our usage levels and family budget.
