Not my favorite target location - very over whelming - busy, loud, I felt like I was going to pass out in there ! Maybe it was the lights or lack of air flow? I don't like that it's attached to the mall/ you have people coming in just walking around hanging out - while you are trying to actually shop. Very bad like spoiled milk odor near the produce and paper goods aisle so that was gross - skipped that section entirely- prices were good- same as any target, checkout was long, only two registers open and a few self check out spots .. ehhh ill prob stick to online ordering or go to another location after this visit. read more

Truly one of the most disorganized and chaotic Target I have ever been to. I was visiting from out of state and I have never seen a Target in this state of mess. Makes me believe standards are definitely not the same in all stores. Shelves looked bare or as if they had not been touched in days. The clothing department basically had piles of clothes on the tables to sift through like a garage sale. read more

Target is one of the places for me that brings so many mixed emotions. Its cleaner and has less riff-raff than Walmart, and the employees are more friendly and helpful. On the other hand, it's more expensive and has less selection. When I do go, I prefer this one over the one on Rt2 that's actually closer to me, because its easier to get in and out with the way parking is set up. Also, the store tends to flow a little better. An added benefit is that more shopping can be done in the adjoining mall. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Warwick, Rhode Island

This Target is located in the Warwick Mall. The parking lot was large and we were able to find parking up close. It's a large store and it has groceries. Tip: if you get a red card, you get 5% off every order. They also have a Starbucks onsite. On this shopping trip, we were looking for a gift for a child's birthday party. There were plenty of toys to choose from. They were well stocked; I asked an employee for an item and they were friendly and helpful. Checking out was also seamless. They don't allow their carts in the mall, this was funny because we didn't know and it locked up at the exit on us. Overall, it's a standard Target located conveniently in the Warwick Mall. It's a great place for a shopping spree. read more

I love a gigantic Target! And I am not an avid Target goer. But, this location is pretty impressive in size. Fully stocked and best of all, it was not crowded. Plenty of parking and very well organized and clean. I was overjoyed to stumble upon Tabitha Brown's garlic parmesan popcorn (I'd been searching for years and it is WORTH the hype, so delicious). Finally found the Uno No Mercy card game, too. Also, you can enter/exit within Warwick Mall, as it is connected. I would come here again in a heartbeat! read more

Large, clean and spacious Super Target in Warwick. We stopped in here to get a few items and some of them were actually cheaper than same items at Walmart or Amazon. The best thing to do is to get on the app or the website and check the prices of the items you are looking for...that way you can find out if they have specials going on or if their regular prices are competitive. We used one of the many self checkout registers and my gift card and discount came right away in the system...so easy.... read more

We shop in this location from time to time. It's not the closest to us, but we often find ourselves in the area. The store can be accessed from outside the mall or inside. Plenty of parking. The mall entrance has four self-checkout line only. No manned checkouts at this end of the store. The exterior entrance has several available manned checkouts, but only one or two have ever been manned during this and other visits, along with several self-checkouts. The line for the self-check out was looonnnngggg today and they only had two cashiers working. This visit we had a lot of shopping to do. Home appliances, gifts, clothes, toys, H&B. They have some very cute holiday outfits for kids at the moment. Flannel shirts. PJ's. The kids section was quite a mess today. I'm sure a customer came through and just tossed things about. What do they care? And it's hard to keep up with it, but it really was chaos in there today. Aside from that, they had a good selection. We did a quick run through, entering from the parking lot side of the store and bought a few gift items, using the self-checkout near the mall entrance. After spending some time shopping in the mall, we thought about picking up those larger items we wanted. We saw the long lines before picking up the items (needed a cart) and decided 'nope'. Nothing is needed right now. It'll wait. The store sells food, clothing for the family, H&B, they offer pharmacy services and have a Starbucks near the parking lot entrance. The store has a lot going for it, but they really need to work on getting more cashiers on the registers. We shouldn't have to wait in a long line to check ourselves out. read more

Overall a nice Target store but I have a bone to pick with them. I'm in the area for a few days visiting family and sightseeing so I decided to place a curbside pickup order for some essentials. I saw they were open till 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night so we showed up around 9:15 p.m. did my usual thing, checked in on the app, etc. Pulled into the curbside pickup area and saw there was some sort of flyer there. Kind of ignored it and then I saw someone getting into her car who was parked in the curbside pickup and I noticed that the flyer said they aren't doing curbside pickup right now. Then I took a closer look and it said you had to go inside to the order pick up area, so that's what we had to do. Ended up being a good thing because the small tub of brownie bites I ordered was very small and won't be enough for a family gathering, so I purchased something else to go with it, but I was a little salty that they weren't doing curbside. It looked like the flyers had been there for a while too so I'm not sure if this is an every day thing or just a nightly thing. All that being said, it was still a very nice Target and pretty clean for 9:30 p.m. so it still gets four stars from me. read more

I was in Rhode Island two weeks ago and it was a cold spell. I only brought tshirts and now it's 45 degrees. What's a Southern dude to do? I headed to Target in hopes of finding something warm. In the men's department, I not only found a decent selection of warm wear on the clearance rack, found a discounted hoodie for $20! And in a pretty cool color. Easy to pay for it at the self-check out where the price rang up properly and I was on my way. Well done, Target! [Review 15283 overall, 785 of 2021, number 46 in Rhode Island.] read more

Yikes. Waited 40 minutes in the drive up for my product. No one communicating with me at all so I went in to find out what was going on. Couldn't answer me. So I went to find the product myself there was none left. When I went back the two girls I asked for help were chatting and quickly scattered. I asked for a manager at that point. The girl was so rude to me for no reason and no one would just tell me they lost the product. I had my newborn and a three year old with me. Finally when the manger came over I was met with a sorry you can order it online. Very disappointed wasn't treated nicely and I thought 40 minutes for a drive up of one product was very patient read more

Pleasantly surprised with this Target. Not sure if it's the layout or what but it just seems bigger than the others we have been in. Signage could be a little easier, I had a slight advantage being tall I could see over the aisles, but still had a difficult time seeing where things were. Clean and organized, quiet with friendly helpful staff. read more

ONE register open - and however many (a multitude) self-checkouts. WHAT is going ON? Some places I refuse to check myself out because it is the principal. I am spending $ in your store, and you are disrespecting your customers with one "real" cashier. I felt so bad for that cashier guy. The carriages (4) in front of me had a LOT of items. I don't have that kind of time to spend standing in line. Dropped the card on an empty cashier belt and walked out. Will go to Walmart tomorrow. Also, the store is a MESS where women's undergarments and shoes are. I could not believe what I was seeing today in those areas. And what's up with the carriages? Every single one has a flat tire. My sister lives in Lincoln. Tells me the one near her - the carriages are like limousines. NOT in Warwick! So annoying to listen to that from various areas in the store - people pushing those flat tire shopping carts around. Are all the bad carriages given to the Warwick store? Every time I go in I say, I won't come again, but now and then, like today - all I wanted was a birthday card and it's near my job, I was on my lunchbreak. I won't go in again unless I am desperate. Walmart IS right down the street, Target is closer to my job. And the Target of which I speak is the one in the Warwick Mall (there are 2 in Warwick). OK! Said my piece. read more

I am writing this review because Julio who works here at the front of store is absolutely AMAZING! He is friendly, kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the Target Store! everytime i come here there's no carts, trash is overflowing outside, and they have one maybe two check out lanes open.

Placed an order for drive-up pick up (which is available on the app), arrived to pick up my order (able to check in on the app) and there are paper signs zip tied to the drive up sign markers saying drive up is closed. The manager tried to tell me that they cannot shut off just the drive up option on the app, they have to have both drive up and walk in available or none. Target is a multi billion dollar multi national company - you're telling me they have an IT department that can't figure this out. Bull. Had the app been updated I would have picked up groceries from a different location as the whole point was I didn't want to drag my small child out of the car. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location has the rudest, laziest, inconsiderate employees - especially at the drive up area. I waited for 30 minutes while other cars came and went with their orders. The last two times I've gone to this location, they have forgotten to give me items or given me the wrong items. It's Target, not NASA. I will gladly travel an additional 10 minutes to the other location on Bald Hill Rd. They are cheerful, FAST, and my orders are always correct. Worst customer service and extreneky rude associate and manager. I shopped online for some cat food and did order pick up in store. when I got home almost 25 miles away, cat food was short by few cans while I was charged for the full order. I'm in RI on business and staying through the weekend for a wedding. Automatic 3 stars...The store was pretty standard for the popular big box store and I found 2 of my items pretty quickly. However on going to the multicultural hair section I automatically thought I was in the wrong section. To say the shelves were bare is an understatement and what was there in what they called the "multicultural" section was dismal. No edge control, brushes, combs, hair bonets, the list is endless. I have always loved Target and what they offer across the board but this was truly disappointing. This Target is attached to Warwick Mall. As such, it's definitely easy in/easy out, much more so than the one a little further south on Route 2. Sometimes the traffic getting to that one, near Best Buy, Petsmart, etc., can be a pain in the butt. What I like about this Target, besides the ease of access, is that it's always been clean (being pretty new), the layout is easy, and I've never had more than one person in line in front of me when I've gone to check out; often, I can walk right up and check out without waiting at all. This is huge for me as I hate waiting in lines. This location has a pharmacy in it, which is nice I guess, but I've never had to use it. It also has a Starbucks in it, which is nice when I go on Sunday mornings so I can get a caffeine fix if I want. read more

Shopping day with Mom! Oh man I love Target but I hate the fact that they had all these wicked cool bright colored jeans in sizes like "5" and when I whisked myself away giddily to the dressing room to try on a pair of said size in mustard yellow (it was kernel mustard in the living room with a wrench woot!) it looked like I was trying on some leggings....that didn't fit.... Some cool duds overall, not gonna lie - but nothing really fit right. And a big part of that is my fault, I get it. I get it. But a bigger part of it is things being WEIRDLY CHEAPLY MADE - - - OK? That was neither an 'em' dash nor an 'en' dash. I have no words... So, here's a dark observation for ya'll: when you walk out of the dressing room, guess which section greets you? WORKOUT GEAR. And I TOTALLY fell for it. I was all: Gee, all that shit you tried on was pretty effin tight and didn't your arm feel a little too jiggly whilst wiggling and jigglin in and out the allegedly cheaply made clothing? Maybe you should... No. Do not. WILL NOT. I made a silent promise to myself: Liza, when you start exercising CONSISTENTLY - THEN - only then, can you buy yourself some nice new SEXY workout gear... But you gotta stick to something for more than a few weeks! No more of this ADD shit. And when you do, you're hauling your newly tight firm Brazil butt-lifted ass down to LULU LEMON... NOT TAR-JAY. Mom texted me, "I'm in the furniture aisle waiting for help." No response. 5 min later: "Where are you?" (later on, that day... when we are finally ready to get out of this red dart funfetti'd morass of crass and I've convinced Mom that no, a table is not what we actually need to make our house more likely to sell during these tough/weird financial times) Informed our check out girl that Oreo just celebrated it's 100th birthday - hence, the confetti themed pack at the register. Perhaps it's silly to write a review about Target, for are not all Targets created equally? No for precisely two reasons: 1) this one is beyond clean and 2) it's home to my daily Starbucks. That latter of which I could run the lip about for hours. It's never busy, it's clean, and they're patient enough to allow me to load my gold card with the exact cost of my drink. Had to go the other day to pick up a gift that was out of stock at my local Target and had what was probably the WORST customer service experience of my life. All of the staff in electronics were rude and unprofessional, on their cell phones rather than helping customers with their masks down below their noses. When I asked one employee for help he literally rolled his eyes and acted like it was a huge inconvenience. This is not my go to target , but if I'm going to Warwick Mall I usually park at the target end so I can get a close spot. Guiding yourself through this store is always like a maze it's always very chaotic , and it's just always all over the place. I never see an associate around to help , and there's always lines out the door , never enough employees. They finally added registers at both entrances but it's self service and if you have tons of things it's a hassle. They run out of stock quick , and I just get a bit annoyed when I need help and nobody is ever around I have to go look for help. The have a Starbucks in this location I haven't tried it out yet but they have it with seating area. Also since the bathrooms are for everyone and anyone in the mall as well tons of people are in and out of here constantly the bathrooms getting dirty and quick, the upkeep of the bathrooms could be better. This store is so badly managed. I go in there in the am when they open. They have an employee meeting every morning. This meeting makes paying customers walk around a cluster of twenty workers or so. It also adds three or four minutes to your trip: due to them blocking the main isle of the store. Then the store opens at eight am. At eight twenty you are trying to cash out, and the manager has not booted the registers up ( even self check out). They have not had a gallon of spring water in a month. I buy Poland Springs. I have asked six different employees. Every one has giving me a different answer. It's been a month and no spring water. They have had their bootleg "purified" water. I went to use the family rest room & one of the trash ass employees were chilling in there while I needed to change my kids diaper. Im beyond irritated that I can't even go into a store anymore & exchange something for a different size & super disgusted that they can't change their trashes or reload up there wipes, disinfectant & hand sanitizer. I was there yesterday with my six year old son. There was an employee leaving target as we searched for a parking spot. We parked in a row closer to the door, and she was diagonal across from us further down the row away from where you would walk into the store. She was having some sort of confrontation with a security guard. It was hard to tell if they were joking or not. As my son and I started to cross from the end of the row where the cars are to the front entrance of the store, she was busy yelling something to some other employees. We started to cross and she pulled up beside us on her phone, paused at the stop but didn't actually stop, didn't even look and took a left almost right into us. We moved out of her way, and instead of her apologizing she called me a bitch. I said "Are you freaking kidding me" and she continued to threaten to run us over while screaming profanity at us and still not paying attention to where she was going. As she drove away she called me all sorts of names, which was great especially when my son looked up at me and asked me "Why did that lady call you a stupid fucking bitch" We went inside and went directly to customer service. I told them I had an incident with one of their employees in the parking lot directly in front of the store while we were crossing and I wanted to make a complaint. The first manager was friendly, but said "Theres nothing I can do, she is off the clock" The second manager he called over listened but didn't say much. He called over someone else who assured us they would look at the security cameras to follow up with the incident. Although everyone was nice, I felt like they were all deer in headlights. No one knew what to do, or what to suggest, or even seemed to care. Only one of them asked if my son was ok. I understand this incident did not happen on the clock of this employee, however if I did this at my job with my employers logo on the front of my shirt on the clock or not there would be consequences. I am disgusted by this experience. I should have called the police, but was shaken up and thought the store could have handled it better. I was wrong. Aside from yesterday the time before this when we wen't to target my son needed to use the bathroom. We went into the stall, and there was a giant pile of feces on the floor. When we complained to customer service the woman was snarky and asked me if we were sure we didn't know how it go there. I thought Target cared about the appearance of their store. I was wrong to think they hired people for their customer service skills. No thank you Target at Warwick Mall. What a disappointment. read more
