Then this weekend, the screen started to appear "jerky" and the iPad was pretty much useless. We called a couple places open on Sunday that wanted over $200 for a new screen. I thought we should get a new iPad, rather than spend $200 to replace another screen on an outdated model. But we took it by the shop on Tuesday when they were open during the week. The tech had it working like new within 5 minutes, at no charge, and we didn't even have the receipt from the first repair. (I'm sure they could have looked it up if they thought we were dishonest). Anyway, really appreciate the immediate attention when I stopped by and quick fix.

Today when I visited this Staples I was heartbroken to find the store in disarray. Even though their prices were reasonable, the shopping experience was not. While some merchandise was neatly organized, others were not. Aisles were blocked with half-unpacked crates, making shopping impossible. There were no sales associates on the floor to assist customers. The employee in the Copy and Print Center was working while holding a dog on a leash and was unable to answer basic questions regarding service. The floor in some areas was dirty and unkempt. The store appeared to be going a transition with Party City, but the current state of the retail space is unacceptable. I asked to talk with the manager, and he was called but never showed up. Because I have trusted Staples for nearly four decades, I feel it is important to bring this up in my review. Not only to forewarn customers about what they can expect here, but hoping that management in Staples' Corporate Office, in Framingham, Massachusetts, reads this review and takes immediate action to address, with the local management, the maintenance and staff professionalism at this location, and rectify this situation. I've been a loyal customer for years, and I hope all this can be resolved so I can keep shopping here and truly recommend this store to other future customers.

I called to inquire about replacing a 12W 18AH battery that was inside a Power Dome Ex portable power box. I called about 3-4 stores in Montgomery County and another battery place in Salem. Josh helped me over the phone to make sure they had the battery in stock. I was thinking I was going to need to leave it and wait. Turns out, he and AJ took it right in (I did have the case open so they could see and easily hook up the new battery). They told me to come back in an hour. Well 45 minutes later it was done. They also asked for the intended use, beside a jump start. Once they knew I wanted to use it to keep food warm at VT tailgates, the recommended a 12W/20ah which will supply the needed power a bit longer. Keep in mind this store is a local franchise. As with any franchise, what you get is only as good as the owner/team. Needless to say, I am very pleased.
