During his interaction, he found out I was eligible for an upgrade without my knowing, and we were able to rectify both his issue and walk away with an amazing deal. I cannot get my calls to TCC returned, after multiple calls. Walked in the Franklin St. store to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy Phone. A saleswoman came out of the back area and barked "whose next". After 2 mins. of rude, short answers to our questions, my wife said, let's go. We walked out, went up the street to Dunns Corners, and had a great experience with the saleswoman. We got scammed by the "free tablet" promotion as well... we didn't even want the damn thing, but the woman at the store said we'd save $20/month on our bill and get an extra 2 GB of memory. It sounded too good to be true, and we asked lots of questions. It would cost nothing each month, no activation fee, it was just a promotion for long-standing customers to promote brand loyalty. Nope. When our bill came, we had a $40 activation fee, $10/month charge, and are locked into 2 year contract. And it sounds like we're not the only ones. read more

Avoid, unless you wish to waste some money and you are into abuse. My wife stopped by with a Samsung P7510 tablet to be check out. I informed my wife, it will not happen as the battery will not hold a charge and without juice diagnostics will not run. But my 30 years of testing sophisticated electronics for the government had no sway. Now, I had decided to spend $40 to replace the battery, I was just unsure if I wanted to spend 15 - 20 minutes to do it. Given that, it's a P7510 and that batteries are very available, the issue would be to pick the right battery manufacturer. We walked in, the person took the my wife's table and attempted to do who knows what. Actually she never stated what she was going to do. Maybe check for stress fractures on the connector fingers? She then proceeded to say in scientific terms "it's toast", but "I'll give you $10 for if and you can buy this new one for $10". To which I informed my wife I'll replace the battery. In response the sales girl, as her sale gets flushed, then stated "it's soldered in". Granted I did not want to spend the 20 minutes to replace the battery, but I became resolved to do so after being lied to my face by this ignorant individual. So she flat out lied to our face then after my response that the battery was not soldered-in, she abruptly turned and walked away without a sound. Maybe it was because I am old, or maybe because I am a degreed Electronic Design Engineer? No, probably because were old so she thought we were by default, stupid, oops. read more

Recently went to the store and asked for a specific new iPhone. The sales rep went into the back room came back and said nope we don't have that phone. For only 8 bucks more I could preorder you a new iPhone 12. I told him I really didn't want the 12, but we'd think about it, have dinner and come back. As we're getting ready to leave I hear another sales rep pull out a phone and apologize to another customer that "they didn't have the phone she asked for all they had".... was the exact model, memory and color phone I asked for?? I point to the lady and our guy whispers "ya, you don't want that phone it's an open box". Funny later at another non-Verizon phone seller's store our rep said ya, he was straight up lying to you. A Verizon store can't sell you an "open box" phone, it has to be shipped back. The problem you had was a salesman who hasn't made his preorder goal. This place is sleazy... won't be back. read more

The service here is awful. I walked in and waited in line for 15 minutes without anyone greeting me or saying "we will be right with you." When it was finally my turn the clerk was rude and when they were not able to resolve my issue she threw her hands up and rolled her eyes at me. The people here are either incompetent or unscrupulous. They tried to tell me that a jetpack uses half the data for the same activity as compared to simply using the mobile hotspot feature. They also tried to conceal the monthly fee for the jetpack in pages of paperwork, claiming that it only cost 99¢, without disclosing that it would also boost the monthly bill by $20 for a mandatory two years, whereas the mobile hotspot feature is free to anyone on a current More Everything plan. They also failed to present and discuss the differences between the Edge program and paying the discounted 2-year pricing of the phone. When confronted on the phone, a female manager was obstinate and rude, and not in the least cooperative. This retailer is an independent retailer; stick with Verizon corporate stores. People at Verizon customer service have much greater latitude to rectify grievances for transactions at corporate stores, whereas their authority with transactions that occurred at independent retailers such as this is limited. read more

The absolute worst ... I bought a $600 iphone 8 which died - literally just stopped working - 5 days after the purchase. I brought it back to the store and was told that they would only replace it with a refurbished phone and that they'd keep the $600. I sat on the line - in the store - with customer service for Verizon Corporate who said it wasn't correct and tried to get the manager to help me. She flat out refused to refund or replace the phone. Sales professional Kyle C. was extremely helpful when my husband and I went in to purchase new phones. He saved us money and a lot of valuable time by suggesting a better but less expensive phone than the one I had in mind. My husband had never owned a smart phone prior to this and Kyle was knowledgeable and patient in dealing with first timers and helped him through a 101 course. He set up our phones transferred all of our data and made sure we understood the abc's of our new purchase. We never felt rushed or pressured and left the store with the confidence necessary to use our phones. This is our new favorite Verizon store. read more

I received a free tablet from TCC, Verizon Authorized Retailer with a current promotion. I asked if there was any monthly charges associated with the tablet. The sales associate said there are no monthly charges with the tablet. I actually asked her THREE times about it. I just wanted to make sure. She assured me of of absolutely no charges. Well,I received my bill (15 days later) and sure enough there were charges for the tablet ($56). Also, a monthly charge of $10 dollars. I tried to bring the tablet back and was unsuccessful. They told me since it was passed 14 days they couldn't help. I spoke with there manager and she was of no help. Funny thing about it was, when I was in the store talking to the manager, there was a woman right behind me in line with the same exact problem. read more

I just found out that this store in westerly added an extra line on to my account ($51.00 per month--I've been paying since august). I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS LINE. She (Katie) fast talked me into signing papers to get me a "cheaper plan and upgraded phone". I had 30 days left on my contract now I am stuck with 4 phone lines with only 3 that I agreed upon and will be going into the store tomorrow to speak to the manager to try and resolve this. If this is not resolved we can all confirm these are in fact criminals who mislead people into signing up for new (unused lines) for their own commission. If this is not resolved with my money returned in full plus this line removed and waiving the termination fee they will be reported to the BBB. Hopefully manager Courtney Moore will resolve this issue tomorrow morning 5/12/2017. I am fully prepared to file charges on katie (who sold me the phone and fraudulently conned me into signing up for a new line) if she has done this to more people than just myself. If Courtney Moore fixes my issue I will change my review. read more
