Horrible customer service. Absolutely no help and lied about having a bathroom. We spent over $1,000 and they would not set up our phone because they close at 7pm. I guess it's a hard stop. Do not recommend, go to another store. This one is not worth it. read more

Luckily I am savvy guy otherwise I would have been robbed by Mr Alaska himself AKA "guy with braids!" He sure does fit every stereotype I've ever heard about his demographic! Also as another reviewer said very condescending. He lied to me about everything and when we were all done he told me outright that's what he did! Said I needed wifi to set up my phone: False Said I would get a better deal if I started another line: False! He said I needed to erase my visible esim to get a quote on the second line: False Manipulated me into signing up for Verizon home protect making it seem like I already had it on my account: False As soon as a salesman of any sort uses the phrase, you seem like a smart man/woman you should immediately stop negotiating with them Also tricky little language like "you have Verizon home protect" does not mean you actually have it, It just means it is available. I will give him credit for being able to plant that in my head, although I canceled it before he was able to make money off of it I'm sure. also took me three different times to actually cancel the subscription. I ended up being able to do it through the My Verizon app.. this store is a nightmare. It should be restructured immediately! You need to get rid of the guy with braids. He is a scourge on your brand! Verizon's response to this review almost mirrors the response given by the last person who complained about this individual quite some time ago. Mr. Braids makes Verizon far too much money by lying for them to let him go. That's the only explanation for him still being at that store. I think we should demand he be removed. read more

We went in to change our service from T-Mobile back to Verizon. One of us needed a new phone and we noticed they were advertising "get an iPhone 16 pro on us" which I believe means a free phone. So no brainer we went for it. Well not so free...in order to get the phone you have to pay $80/line for 3 yrs locked in. They don't give you the lowest per line price...so NOT actually free. I was ripped off of a "free iPhone 14" that was promised to me on 9/5 and was ordered and supposed to be delivered on 10/11 I call 611 on 10/12 to get an update and they said it had been cancelled. I was charged on 9/5 for the sales tax. Never received the phone 611 guy named Oscar was really helpful but I went into the store and the First Gentleman who greeted me named Will was very sweet but the other man who's name I'm not aware of but he has braids was a condescending asshole. Shushed me so he could take and walk off with MY phone and talk to 611 to get "their" side. What? No. I told him the way everything was dealt with I wanted to go to a different store and I was told he would give me everything I needed to let me switch somewhere else. I just wanted them to give me my money back that THEY charged me for something I never received and he acted as tho I was the problem. Complete dick. I'll be speaking to corporate. read more

My husband went to Verizon yesterday afternoon for a new phone. He told the sales person he wanted something similar. She never showed him options , just came out with one and wanted him to walk out the store with the phone in the box, no help on navigating thru it. She could not even load his pics onto it. Just sent him home and said if you have trouble make another appt. and come in! Really, that is customer service at Verizon? He absolutely hates the phone and wants to exchange it for an iPhone , but have no idea how they will handle that. Very very disappointing . Would never recommend them. read more

Use extreme caution. It's not that they don't tell the truth it's that they don't tell you what you need to know. There are times when you cannot know what you don't know so you are not going to ask the needed questions. This is duplicitous. I want to update this to say that if you do go to the Auburn Verizon Store you should ask to work with Elle or Anthony. They are great. They were unable to resolve the issue but they were kind and willing to work on it. Excellent customer service for these two. read more

I regret to reveal that Verizon's customer service has tanked. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 20 years, but unfortunately it is now very difficult to get any assistance from anyone willing or able to help. Verizon stores have become completely useless by design. They want to drive you to their website to figure things out on your own so that they don't have to pay employees to help you. That's why there are only 3 employees here when you walk in on a weekend, and you have to wait an hour or more to even be told to come back when you can make an appointment in a few days. Since when is getting help with your cell phone plan by appointment only?? Frustrated, you will then try to call customer service on the phone. After navigating menu options for 15 minutes, you might eventually speak to a real person whose only goal is to point you to their website to try to figure it out by yourself. But it's 2021... obviously you've already tried that. If you do go to the website or app, you'll click around until you get frustrated enough by the lack of functionality and terrible user interface to attempt the former awful alternatives. It's a horrible cycle you attempt once every year or so until you give up and eventually find yourself writing this Yelp review on a seven year old iPhone thinking, "Why am I still giving this company my business?" read more

Came in for a new phone....I love getting new things! After choosing my new phone, the pixel xl, a lady named Jill helped my gf and me. Jill...has zero personality! We had questions to ask. Obviously! This is a huge descion. Like buying a car. Your stuck with it for two years. Will it be what I want? Soooo many questions! Ahhhh! Ok, back to this review. Jill...was bothered by everything. Every.. little.. question! It made me rush. Between questions she had no small talk. This leads me to believe that her cat doesn't meow that much for her at home when she she walks through the door to her empty apartment. Once I decided on my phone they didn't have it in stock. NO!!!Why am I here? Why is Jill still eyeballing me? Why didn't she tell me this to begin with? After an hour I'm walking out having to order a phone and an angry Jill. I need a drink. Goodbye Jill! I'm sorry to your next customer and those who have to wait. Overall...the Auburn store is always busy and always seems to be out of product. They need more knowledgeable staff and better OtterBox cases. No one wants just black? Just black sums up this boring place! read more
