I went into Auburn US cellular store and was told that I could get Internet along with phone. So I…read moresat down with a representative and he told me there was absolutely no cost. If you decide to bring it back within 15 days of signing no contract Involved.I asked specifically are you sure there is nothing extra cost wise? He told me straight to my face that there was no extra if brought back within the 15 days. I told him I only needed it for a few months and didn't want to get tied down with anything. It turns out when I went to sign he did tell me after I prodded out him That there is a $360 charge for their Internet module which boils down to 36 months at $10 a month prorated for as long as you keep it up to three years. At that point, I was going to walk out because this was what I didn't want, but he talked me into trying it out and if I didn't like it, it would cost me nothing just bring it back within 15 days. I said fair enough. Well, after 14 I brought it back and it turned out that they have a $39 restock fee. never told me about that and lied right to my face that he did. I told him "boy you people must really need the money if you screw a man for 39 bucks. Well, this is the second time they have taken advantage of me and I should've known but I just wanna warn people that these people are very deceptive and outright liars . caveat emptor " buyer beware" stay away from these people. Unfortunately, I come from a time. When a man's handshake is his honor,I can honestly say this no longer exist in today's society where they will screw you over for two bucks. She was super friendly, answered all of my many questions. She is a huge asset to this company. She got my new phone set up in less than 30 minutes. She was able to set up auto pay. I went in a bundle of nerves as I've dealt with the Mexico location for 20+ years. My anxiety was at its peak. I left with such relief. She listened to me. She didn't push me into something I didn't want. She gave me options. Please know that I'll continue to be an Auburn customer from now on and will recommend that location as well.

Three techs gave cone out to connect the service but each one has said they need to have the 3rd party contractor -- and the far off phone service appears unable to schedule a 3rd party contractor. Disgust at a company whose customer service is farmed out and whose job managers don't bother reading notes to schedule required service. DISGUST at the continued lack of WIFI. Comcast relies on automated boiler plate online assistance and pays no attention to customers.

I never signed anything that authorized this "fee" or anything at all actually. Might be time to get litigious. Avoid this business at all cost.
