Shame on Comcast. High marks to tech Tim who is trying to solve a problem which exists because of Comcast's use of remote, foreign customer service centers and disinterested local job managers..For weeks and after at least 5 or 6 calls the company has still not sent out the 3rd party contractor to pull the cable thru a conduit that runs under the road. Three techs gave cone out to connect the service but each one has said they need to have the 3rd party contractor -- and the far off phone service appears unable to schedule a 3rd party contractor. Disgust at a company whose customer service is farmed out and whose job managers don't bother reading notes to schedule required service. DISGUST at the continued lack of WIFI. Worst customer service , they overcharged me 160.00 and said they would stop my service after I came in with all my payments and receipts . The manager did not help and finally said"I am done and if you do not leave I will call the cops .. Nice way to treat the seniors or any other customers Any suggestions for me to retrieve this miss justice, I was nearly in tears as it was so stressful. Terrible, just plain awful. Poor communication, in fact none. No way to contact without dysfunctional computerized voice system that eventually hands you over to text assistant who have just enough faulty information to be infuriating and confusing. What a nightmare. I just gave up trying to sort out when or if they were going to fix their cable that was lying across my front yard. No one seemed to know. I am a Comcast customer and if I had another choice I would change providers. I just spent 2 hours on a chat with a Comcast person telling me how Comcast was offering a promotional package that sounded pretty good. $119.99 for a 24 month contract. It was for their preferred triple play package.I said that I was interested and approximately 2 hours later, they send me a contract via email. I read the contract and it stated that the price of $119.99 is only good for 12 months of the 24 month contract then there will be a price increase. WTF? Typical bait and switch. The sales person never mentioned anything about the price being good for only 12 months. Good thing I read the fine print. This is the type of BS why Comcast is hated in the industry.
