Chicken Tortilla Soup
Demi D.

I loved verde! I usually get their fajitas and a margarita and it needs no notes. This time I got their chicken tortilla soup. It's definitely more creamy/thick than broth-y. I prefer broth-y chicken tortilla soup so if that's your thing, get something else. Our service is always top tier.

The food was really good, and fairly priced given the overall experience. The restaurant interior was very nice, with pretty decorations. We also had a really chill server. Great place overall.

After previously indulging at Verde a few times at their Ironworks location, we trekked over to Fishers to make sure their tequila is just as delicioso! ... and it is!! There are so many wonderful things to say about the higher end dining experience offered at Verde. Their fun and exotic menu items (Octopus and Grasshoppers!), exquisitely crafted cocktails, and a beautiful ambience do tend to call for a higher price point so keep that in mind. Margarita flights, too?! You know I'm all about supporting that! House margs are 50% off on Tues, too! This location is so beautiful as well! The decor, leather seats, and interesting light fixtures create just a beautiful atmosphere. All the dishes are beautifully plated and abundant in color. The margaritas were absolutely perfect! Not too much overly sweet mix smacking you in the face. We witnessed a few tables celebrating birthdays, and the elaborate pyro show that was presented at each table was so over the top and fabulous! I need to do a birthday here! Friendly and accommodating staff. Complementary parking. Authentic flavors of Mexico. Verde is a total hit!

First time experience and food/drinks were decent with a beautiful presentation. Service was horrible! Asked for a few things several times. A couple of us didn't get our food at all and the waiter "forgot" what was ordered. Didn't get checked on during the time spent. Atmosphere was ok. There were no special events going on and only 6 tables at most while we were there so didn't really understand why service was so bad!

Most recent visit 7.13.24. It was a Friday night, about 7/7:30. To note: Was going to rsvp a seat on open table, which said 2 hr wait; we called and they said, no waiting! And it was not at all crowded when we got there and we were seated immediately. Our waiter Johnathan was a delight and was great about assisting my friend with gluten and dairy-free needs. Between us (and me not needing to be gluten free), we had chips, salsa, guacamole, cheese dip, shrimp and octopus cerviches, charred avocado, tuna tiradito, the margartia flight and a skinny margartia (or two). Everything was just presented beautifully and was so full of flavor. Check out all my pics! Huge #yum #ReviewsByRL

This was the best mexican I've had in a long time. The salsa I could drink, the guacamole was excellent and refreshing. my boyfriend had the Beria tacos and I had the lunch taco platter which was shrimp and chicken and they were extremely flavorful and tasty. The wait was a bit long, but that's how you know they're making your food fresh and authentic.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to go. Their food is always amazing and the service is pretty quick. I recently went there with two other people. We were sat almost immediately and before you know it had chips and salsa at our table. We ordered the the jalapeño margarita and the classic frozen. 10 out of 10 recommend the jalapeño margarita if you are into spicy. It had an amazing kick to it. For dinner, we went with the classic chicken quesadilla. It was bigger than normal which was awesome because I was able to get lunch out of it the next day. The flavors in their food are always delicious. I have never had a bad experience there. Our server was one of the kindest servers I have ever had. He was on top of it and was at our table to clean any dirty plates as soon as we were done. The restaurant was very clean and will be going back in the future.

Stopped at this location for the first time for lunch l. I have visited another location before in Zionsville and this location was much smaller. We were greeted and sat right away. The waiter was very nice and sweet. We ordered from the lunch menu which is much cheaper than the dinner menu. We tried ordering the butternut squash tacos and we were told they no longer had those. The waiter informed us that they recently switched the dinner menu but haven't changed the lunch menu so they do not still serve everything on there. I ordered queso dip and then got the ground beef burrito Mexicano. It was very dry but tasty and it came with queso on the side and it was good when I dipped it. The queso was very good. I love the beautiful decor and despite this location not having the same mood lighting ambiance as the location in zionsville, it is still beautiful and nice place to go for a date, to celebrate, or a nice dinner out.

From the food to the service, everything was amazing. We honestly were not expecting much, however once looking over the menu, we knew it was going to be good. I decided to go with the ribeye tacos and it's served with bone marrow and additional toppings. I loved the cheese inside, however I would ask for it without next time. The meat was tender and delicious. The aquachiles were great also, not too spicy but did have a kick. Next time we will try the ceviche. My husband got a wet burrito that he enjoyed. I got their patron margarita to start and it was made exactly how I like em. Not too sour and with OJ to add a bit of sweetness. I also ordered an espresso martini but I definitely preferred the margarita instead. Their desserts looked delicious but we were too fully. Will definitely try it next time.

Quick service and quiet ambiance at lunchtime. We used our Yelp coupon to get our queso for free and it was delicious. Large quantity is served. The menu recently changed we were told, however, the lunch menu hasn't been updated yet. There are no longer squash tacos and instead there are veggie tacos which I ordered and were delicious with a unique mild taste. The elite that I ordered was disappointing as it was only a small amount of corn. Not the elote that I'm accustomed to....

This restaurant was really nice, the food was really good, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We had Pescado Dorado (fried red snapper, very good)10/10, Lamb Chops 7.8/10, and Quesabrirra Tacos 8/10. The service was professional and efficient. The atmosphere was very welcoming, warm and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for a special occasion or a normal taco Tuesday! I highly recommend trying this restaurant out.

Excellent service. Amazing margaritas! Chips and salsa as you are seated and great quality. Menu is excellent - wide array of authentic Mexican dishes. Great sauces, high quality all around and a nice atmosphere ~ my favorite Mexican restaurant by far in the Indianapolis area.

Good food, good service, great chips and salsa. Menu has evolved over the years to become more authentic but also more expensive.

We opted for the 2 can dine for 20$ deal. They don't normally have street tacos so wanted to give them a try. It comes with 6 tacos Side of beans Side of rice We both chose to do 1 of each meat option. The steak was chopped up which was nice and had lots of flavor The pork was absolutely delicious and juicy The shredded beef was ok but lacked flavor and was greasy Rice was terrible and lacked flavor Bean were amazing as usual The tacos needed more onion and cilantro Keep in mind they are small and could use a bit more meat on them In addition we ordered the green chili queso and chips. The queso had a nice bit of heat to it and was creamy and had guacamole in it We also shared the taco of the month which is the Tokyo Drift. It was hands down the best taco they have. I'm adding a pic of what comes in the taco. I do wish it had more siracha mayo Overall great fast and delicious food.

As we moved to the bar to wait for our food, the bartender informed us that he had put away the rim device to salt our glasses. We had already paid, so what were we to do. We said, "ok." Then we questioned what time they closed. We doubled checked, 9:30. It was only 8:30. I don't prefer a margarita without salt but felt stuck. Also, it wasn't as if we were the last ones to come in. I counted at least 6 parties that came in after us. The chorizo queso was excellent. The tacos were decent. However, while it may seem like a small thing, the lack of salt on the rim of my $12 margarita really sunk this place for me. I've never bartended, but I don't feel like it's a lot of work to salt a rim. Even if the stuff was put away (an hour early).

The thing that I like about Samanos is that they have a beans, rice and cheese burrito (BRC…read moreburrito) on the menu. It's listed under the kids' section of the menu and it's called a Chiquito Burrito! Chiquito means "small" in Spanish, and it is indeed a small burrito meant for children. But the BRC burrito is adequate and it's a BRC burrito, and like I said it's on the menu, so you don't have to explain to some lost soul that you want a burrito with beans, rice and cheese in it. You just have to say "chiquito." We also got a Mexican burrito and an Adrian's burrito, the latter of which is covered in bacon. It's a bit of an overkill, if you ask me, because you can't really taste the bacon because there is so much else going in with the burrito. In general, though, the burritos at Samanos are good, and I'd even go so far as saying they're above average when it comes to Midwestern Mexican food!

I appreciated the salsa bar so you can pick and choose which ones you want. My tacos were pretty decent, I think the pastor was my favorite though. I live around the corner so when I eat here again it will be pastor all the way. I was a little disappointed with the horchata it was a little too sweet and not cinnamony enough for my personal taste. But otherwise a solid place to grab a quick bite.
