Instead of focusing on the usual lineup of burritos, enchiladas, and tacos, they offer a menu with unique, elevated dishes that are worth exploring. We ordered the mixed meat fajitas, which were excellent, but the standout for us was the carne en su jugo. It's a rich, flavorful soup/stew that's unlike anything you'll find at most Mexican restaurants. The bacon crumble added the perfect savory touch and really made the dish memorable. The margaritas were equally impressive--well-balanced, high quality, and clearly made with care. Great ambiance! Great service! I've been here several times but first time reviewing. There is a drink not listed on the menu, I forgot the name but the translation means "red lips"; get it!! What an amazing experience! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The manager took us to our seats. He came and checked on us and other tables during our dinner. He even carried dishes away! I love to see a hands on manager who truly cares about his customers! Rio was our waiter. He was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks! We had a duo birthday celebration, so we didn't get a private room but a back room- which was so much fun- apologies to the tables surrounding us- however, every single table was loud and fun! Alfonso was as personable and knowledgeable as he was efficient. Both he & the manager checked in to ensure our satisfaction. Queso is perfect! Entrees of Arroz con Pollo and Carnitas are nicely accompanied by very good rice, excellent beans, okay guacamole and good salsa fresca. Overall, portions are large. My Carnitas also had a cheese stuffed Guara pepper - very tasty with a touch of heat. Oh...lest I forget: we are aficionados of flan and this one was among the best ever. I wish I could give this place zero stars. On a Saturday afternoon, I called in an order and the phone rang for nearly 10 minutes before anyone finally answered. I ordered the ceviche ($21) and guacamole ($15), expecting better quality given the prices. When I arrived to pick up my order, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only about 30 customers. Despite that, service was lacking. The manager appeared more interested in chatting and flirting with a young hostess than paying attention to customers. While my bill was being rung up, another employee came out of the kitchen with a ponytail and no hairnet, which was concerning from a food-safety standpoint. Unfortunately, the food was even more disappointing than the service. The ceviche and guacamole were both bland and completely lacking flavor. The chips that came with them were stale, making the experience even worse. To top it off, there was a strange odor throughout the restaurant that made the atmosphere unpleasant. For over $36 in appetizers, I expected fresh, flavorful food and professional service. Instead, I received tasteless food, stale chips, poor customer service, and concerns about cleanliness. This is the new Mexican restaurant at Hamilton Town Center. It's located in one of the strip lots on the other side of the street from the mall. It has its own parking lot with plenty of spaces. As soon as I stepped into this restaurant, I loved the atmosphere. The decor is amazing. There was so many things to look at in the space and they have a water feature by the entrance. It's very large and has different seating areas sections. I met at a girlfriend there for lunch and they have a nice lunch menu. The chips and salsa were amazing. They are yellow corn, super thin and crispy and seemed more stone ground than the kind you get at El Rodeo and similar establishments, if that makes sense. They were addictive. My taco salad in the fried tortilla shell was great. It had mixed lettuce, not iceberg. My girlfriend got the arroz con pollo. The potion size in my opinion looked very small for the price, but she said it was tasty nonetheless. We didn't get drinks because it was pretty early. It's not the most cost friendly places but definitely worth the dry for lunch' I want to take friends here to try their drinks. Hopefully we can sit in one of the other areas or the bar. read more

It is so pretty and honestly they thought of everything to create the ambiance of a lifetime. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday and were able to be seated right away, by the time we left around 6:30/7, it was packed with people waiting, so I would totally recommend coming before the big rush. The food was really good, although I think the portion sizes are smaller than your traditional Mexican restaurant. I think this is okay if you are doing more social thing, but if you really want to eat eat and be super full, either order appetizers, or this may not be the place for you. The drinks are also amazing. I had the skinny margarita and it is made with Patron! What a bonus! It is a little on the pricey side, so beware of that as well, but worth the experience. As a starter with chips and salsa , and along with chorizo dip; which was so good. My choice of the enchiladas platter was a great one, along with rice, beans with cheese. Fortunately, the bar seating is first-come first-served, and we were able to sit right away instead of waiting 25 minutes for a table. A nice start! I've been on the quest to find the most-Instagrammable restaurant in Fishers, and I think Casa Santa is it! This place has photo ops GALORE, from the waterfall and flower display in the entrance to the giant glowing tree in the dining area, Casa Santa definitely deserves a feature on your socials. Now, Casa Santa isn't just a pretty place! The food is absolutely amazing, and there are authentic Mexican dishes offered here that you can't find anywhere else in the surrounding area (grilled grasshoppers, anyone?). A crowd favorite at my table was the quesabirria tacos, 3 out of the 7 of us ordered them. The corn tortillas were so crispy and weren't soggy from the sauce, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. I especially loved the dipping sauce on the side, it was a little spicy but really enhanced the flavor of the tacos overall. One thing I love about Casa Santa is the variety of vegetarian options, it was perfect for my group because we did have 2 vegetarians. We all LOVED the chips and salsa--we must've devoured at least 4 bowls, I'm surprised we had room for dinner! We had a group of 7, so I made a reservation on OpenTable a week in advance. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation because every time I've been here, it's been packed with an average of a 45-60 minute wait. Then we all ordered the Molcajete. This entree was AMAZING! Not only was the bottom lit on fire which was a great extra touch, but the chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, and the cheese were outstanding! We came here during Devour Indy and got to choose a 3 course meal, including a margarita for only $35! And they still provided chips and salsa that was really fresh. I got the Texas margarita which uses top shelf tequila and it was the best margarita I've ever had! For appetizer I got the chicken empanada that was so flaky and flavorful. The entree I chose the salmon which was cooked perfectly, but I wish the rice was more of a Mexican style instead of being lightly flavored, and the salad was also more of a Mediterranean vibe. We ended with the churros which was perfect! The service was also great, our waiter was super friendly. The only quirk was that as soon as we were seated, they came up to us with this cart and asked if we wanted guacamole. We hadn't even gotten our water yet so it was a little confusing because we definitely didn't order guac. We thought maybe it was free so we asked the lady and she didn't speak English, so we ended up spending 10 mins trying figure out if it was free and it was not. The service we received was terrible, and the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the manager was wonderful in helping us fix the issue. I have been here before , but my fiance had not. With our wedding coming up, we do not get many nights out so we were super excited. With this being an upscale restaurant, I presumed we would enjoy our evening. Our queso came out , and it tasted like fire. Genuinely tasted like it was scraped off a burnt grill. We wanted to say something to our server , because both of our entrees had queso on top. Before we could , our entrees came out. Also tasted like fire because of the queso , we said something to our server finally after waiting 20 minutes for her to check in on us. She made both of us feel unintelligent by saying that it just tastes like that because it was made on the grill. She did not offer to get a manager , and did not offer to remake our food. We intended on just paying and going somewhere else , but then the manager came over and said he had tried the queso and we were in fact correct and he would remake our food. Our waitress came over later , wondering where our food went and we said that it was being remade and she seemed confused and angry on why that would be. Food came out way better , and she came back asking if we were ready to pay. Which saying this , she had also offered earlier in the meal to take off my fiancés meal and the queso. She came back with my card and said to have a good night and never came back. She had left the bill with no itemized receipt and a meal that was way more than she had promised after removing the items that came out inedible. Like I said , with us not getting any date nights out anymore. We were extremely upset and felt like we were a burden to be in our waitress' section. Long story short, we will not be back. It's a shame because I had loved this place previously, but I will not be made to feel stupid when something is inedible. We sat at our table Saturday night and waited for drinks and service for 10 minutes (with several servers and wait staff standing around clocking us looking for help, ignoring us). There's a bar that you can hang out at while waiting to be seated. We had a reservation. Once seated the service was awesome. I ordered a house margarita and it was huge and not weak at all. The food was also great. Our appetizer was guacamole made table-side and it was so fresh!!! My husband and I ordered fajitas mine had all three, shrimp, chicken and steak.
