However, I'm really frustrated with the return policy when it comes to trying new products. If you buy something because you want to "try" it out and end up not liking it--or realize you bought the wrong one--you can't return it if you've opened the package. But how are you supposed to know whether you like a product or if it's the right one without actually trying it? I understand not being able to return certain used items, but it would be nice if there were a better solution for things that have only been opened to test them. There are already so many loose items throughout the stores and on clearance, so I feel like returned products could simply be marked down and resold when appropriate. It's just really frustrating, especially when art supplies can be expensive and sometimes you don't know if a particular product will work for you until you actually use it. That being said, I have nothing bad to say about the employees! Every employee I've interacted with has been so nice, helpful, and friendly. Overall, I love shopping at Michael's--I just wish the return policy were a little more customer-friendly when it comes to products you need to try before knowing if they're right for you.
