Why should Garden City get all the high end stores when shoppers in Suffolk county are looking for the same bargains? Nordstrom Rack the title ending Smith Haven Plaza fits well on you. I walked into the store and it was a madhouse! People were shopping, asking questions and trying on designer clothes all at a discounted price. Did I just describe heaven? I loved seeing the Brooks Brothers Men section. This is a brand that I wear so I welcome the discount. I bought on season a beautiful shirt-jacket for the fall. The check out line was long, it seems the local shoppers love quality clothing at discounted prices. Great grand opening Nordstrom Rack Smith Haven Plaza, welcome to Lake Grove.

She took the time to look up my Nordstrom rewards and apply them to my purchase. All departments are fully stocked and waiting for bargain shoppers like me. I find Nordstrom Rack prices exceptional for high end merchandise. Their in house brands are comparable and also provide good value. Although the lines were long and I feel they could use an extra register or two, it was a rewarding experience. Just for kicks I'm doing the review and photos of my prized possession now. This Tommy Bahama Backpack has given me many years of use. It beautiful to look at and has three outside pockets. I used to take it to Target and Costco. Today I'm carrying some shoe donations to Fleet Feet. When I travel to Florida or Connecticut it's perfect for clothes and because it's cloth I can slide it under a seat. I also don't have the added weight of a heavy backpack in addition to the contents. I have had clothes and other accessories so I can safely say the Tommy Bahama merchandise holds up over time. My backpack is one of my treasures! Go to this store because it's a fantasy experience!!

As we were looking at the jeans, Issac was saying that a manager was complaining about how the store was messy as he was folding clothes. The back shelves were disheveled but as a customer I didn't need to hear that. When I asked about certain jeans, Issac and the other sales girl gave misinformation about length. I actually found the lengths I needed on the shelf after searching and he just said "Oh.." After finding about 8 jeans we were ready to pay and let Issac know that we were ready to purchase. Issac said "okay" and headed to the register. As Issac gets to the register, he says "You know what? I'm going to close out the registers and she, meaning the other girl who just started ringing another customer, can help you after she's done." Really? So instead of ringing us up and getting us out of the store as you close, you're going to close out the registers which comes before the customer?? Ridiculous! Issac needs to be retrained on customer service, the sizing and lengths of the merchandise and not complaining about management in the store. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! We ended up ordering the sizes that Issac said didn't exist on line. NOT GOING BACK TO THIS STORE AGAIN!!
