I LOVE cashmere sweaters. They're all I wear in cool or cold weather. Wool can be itchy. And it's clearance time! I had to return a couple of things from the Riverhead store, so thought that I'd try this store. The clearance section was REALLY picked over, so slim pickings. I did find a couple of sweaters. I didn't want to have to return anything else, so tried everything on this time. Found a fabulous barn jacket and a quilted navy jacket. I love the thrill of the hunt at discount stores. While I will probably never top the $99 Armani jacket that i found long, long ago at TJ Maxx on 14th Street, hope springs eternal. And cashmere for $60 or less is pretty good. Shoe selection is generally meh, so I never bother to look, most of the time. Too much PU and lower-quality mainstream brands. I have found Jack Rogers, but that was rare. read more

A cleaner than average TJ Maxx. They had a decent selection and things were findable. Fast checkout too. This one is ok.

today me and my friends were at the tj maxx looking at press on nails and we were taking them off the shelf to look at them obviously we're going to put them back when we were done when a lady came up to us yelling and screaming that she worked hard to put all the nails on the shelf and she continue to rip on of the nails from the top saying we ripped the packaging it and now it couldn't be sold after she clearly ripped it off the rack and threw it I picked it up and put it back and she threw it back down we reassured her that we would put them back when we were done she continued to get other workers to tell us to put them back the lady stated "we should not be acting like this and who does this to someone who works hard at their job" as we were putting the back on the shelves after we finished cleaning up the nails we were going to checkout with our items and the lady yelled that we "didn't clean it up correctly and that we need to leave and she would have us banned from the store" she seem disordinary and should not be able to work in public service I later called the store and cleared things up wnf they had a wonderful customer service support will it be returning if I could give zero starts trust me I would! read more

Used to be my favorite TJ max but the new people they hired are so rude and nasty I couldn't believe the Spanish girl with the slick back parted pony tails attitude. Her and her friend at the register were more worried about learning how to drive and their permit test. I'll be going to port Jeff from now on. read more

About two months ago I was in here with my sisters and nephew. My 2 year old nephew dropped his bear stuffed animal and we couldn't find it. I left my name, number and description on the stuffed animal with the manager. Fast forward to today and we find my nephews stuffed animal on the shelf with a price tag on it. The young girl usually in fitting room is very welcoming and so helpful. The store is generally very clean although sometimes clothing is laying about but there's a great selection of it, otherwise it's pretty well organized. read more

Umm , what's not to like ? Designer clothes for my kids and myself for half the price ? I'm in !!! The ONLY thing I would change is they need a larger kids clothing section and they need to start selling children's shoes .
