They ask you at check out if you want to donate to St Jude's, and when you do they ring a bell and all the employees cheer (loudly). They have a large food section, seasonal displays, bathroom and bedroom necessities and a large picture frame area too. Unfortunately, oftentimes I'll be interested in a bowl or plate and they are all chipped. For example, yesterday I found a really nice looking pottery bowl, the first one I picked up was chipped and there were 8 others on the shelf so I knew I'd be in luck, however every single one of the 8 bowls also had a chip or scratch. You just have to be careful what you end up buying and make sure you look at it carefully before making a purchase. A lot of the furniture looks good from afar but when you get closer it has dents and bumps, etc. Their clearance section is honestly a waste of time because 99% of the items are damaged. I'd rather pay 25% more for the item and have it not be broken. One thing that seriously irks me about this place is the new bag policy. Not the actual fact that you have to pay for a bag but the fact that they no longer have paper for you to wrap your delicate items! What the heck. Came in yesterday with my own bags and bought bowls and plates but they had nothing to wrap my things with to make sure they didn't scratch and break while they were in my car. That is annoying. Nothing worse than getting home and finding out the new bowls you just bought are damaged.

My optician was Howie, who told me that his resume includes over two decades of experience working for LensCrafters and Davis Vision, so I valued his opinion on each frame that I tried on. I purchased the one that he said looks best on me. The out of pocket costs were considerably less than what I would have paid at LensCrafters or Davis Vision, where I have been going for over 15 years. Both retail chains have gotten way too expensive even though I have premium vision insurance. My out-of-pocket costs for a luxury brand pair of glasses with progressive lenses are at least $300 now at LensCrafters or Davis Vision. At Costco Vision, I paid about $150. The only negative is that Costco Vision does not have an anti-fog option.

This mall is in the middle of face lift number 3.
