As I was in the store an older woman asked me politely if I needed help, which I declined. Then while on the phone trying to decide, I touched a bag as I walked past it and another associate (Jen I believe) yelled out, that bag is ..... and I had no I sea age was even talking to me. ( because all I did was touch it). Then the lunch box I wanted only the display was out so I took that one. While still looking, the same rude worker came over to me, took the bag out of my hand and gave me a different one. Only until I said "there was no other bag there so I took this one" then did she explain why she did that. She said I couldn't have the display despite there being no additional bag to take instead. When I checked out, she was the one to ring me up. I had my birthday coupon so I showed it to her, then she questioned me if it was my birthday, I said yes that's why I have the coupon. It was uncomfortable. She was also very rude to a customer trying to buy suitcases. When I left the outlet about 2 hours later, she was behind me exiting the parking lot, and she honked at me as soon as the parking lot light changed. This was the rudest experience I've had. Her name I believe was Jen. I but a new backpack/lunchbox every 1-2 years (all my duffel travel bags are VB as well) and it was such an off putting experience. Jen was such a rude, non-personable, and disrespectful employee.

I am a fan of New Balance sneakers. When I returned to Long Island to see my dad, I was up to…read moregetting a new pair of New Balance sneakers. In the Lake Ronkonkoma area; the places that I'd find New Balances in the past such as Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the New Balance store by Smith Haven Mall were m.i.a on a good selection of them that were reasonably priced. So on my second full day on Long Island, my dad and I headed out on the Long Island Expressway to its easternmost end at Tanger Outlets to check out the New Balance Store in the eastern quadrant of the outdoor mall.      When I visited on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, there were plenty of parking spaces leading to a short walk in my worn out New Balances to the business. When I walked in I passed the tables and racks of New Balance apparel on the way to the back where I explored the aisles of New Balance sneakers. I found the aisles to be nicely organized and clean. The left half of the aisles merchandised women sneakers where the right were men's. The aisles were further broken down by sneaker type and style. For example, I saw an aisle for training, another for walking, and so on. With this commendable selection were an impressive variety of sizes. Unlike some stores specializing in footwear, there were several sizes of each sneaker on the salesfloor.     The sales associates were helpful and patient. On account of how difficult it was for me to find a size that was comfortable to wear with my Superfeet insoles, it was necessary to go through boxes of sneakers to find the right one. In hindsight I should of taken a photo to show all of the boxes. The Associates gave zero issue as I tried on several pairs. One of the Associates went as far as to measure my feet, although the measurement was incorrect.    Thanks to the abundance of different sizes, I finally found a size 9E that fit comfortably. Complimenting the impressive selection of sneakers were the prices. In my mind, this store is the best deal for New Balance sneakers. After all this is a factory outlet store. On top of the low prices they offered some additional great deals that included 25% off some of the sneakers.    Based on my leading check-in here on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, I can myself returning here when I visit my dad on Long Island. My Dad had even said that he plans to go to the Tanger Outlets more often than Kohl's.

A blue and white dress for only $12 dollars and it was very cute. A gray cardigan with 3 big buttons, pockets and 3/4 sleeves. Very soft and super comfortable. It was only 7 bucks. I found it on clearance and there was only one because if there were more they would have came home with me. I also bought a gray/white stripped shirt ( $5) but when I wore it the next day my sister saw it and decided she really liked it, so I gave it to her. The last thing I purchased that day was a really soft gray long sleeve v-neck light sweater. Also found it on clearance for around 8 dollars. This gap always makes me happy.

When asking for other sizes, we waited while the sales associate was on the phone when she rudely told us that we needed to wait because it was "her customer from Connecticut." She called another attendant up and when we asked about another size again she told us we "could find it upstairs, folded on a table." When the other woman came upstairs, we asked her what fabric a shirt was made out of and she said, " I don't know; check the tag." Additionally, we were told we could not try anything on, but when we walked out, some other woman was actively trying on several different outfits. I'm not sure if it's because we looked like we weren't buying or if there was some other reason, but it was completely unprofessional and discourteous. Even though it was 70% off and lots of inventory, I would not recommend this store and am disgusted at the abysmal service.
