I shop here at least 3 times a year since it's over an hour drive from Queens. I love the deals but the staff are unfriendly. If you change your mind while you're in line waiting to check out, once you get to the register and tell them you change your mind but you're still buying other items... they still roll their eyes and get mad. You shouldn't be rude to customers. I know it can be stressful since i work retail too. But if people are buying in the store you should give them a positive experience and be treated how you would want to be treated as a customer. read more

The selection is good here, but there was a petite blonde lady helping us today who was SO RUDE to both me and my husband for separate inquiries. (So it wasn't personal which might be worse IDK.) Her delivery of simple information was unnecessarily combative. She is the kind of horrid customer service person parodied in sketch comedy. She made me not want to purchase anything. However, there is a very helpful and nice black gentleman who works there too and he has helped me on more than one occasion that is just lovely. If it wasn't for him, I would avoid this location because of the rude lady. No one needs that stress! read more

While on a recent trip to the North Fork and wine country, I realized after it was too late, that I had forgotten my shirts for dinner and needed to pick some up. Enter Tanger Outlets and Saks. First let me say that neither the mad Russian ( my lovely date) nor I are fans of shopping, so the easier its organized, the better off we are. The store is very clean and although the racks are overstuffed, you can shop pretty easily. They were offering some pretty amazing deals on the weekend we were there- I got 4 dress shirts and some lipstick for her plus some hair accessories for less than $200. Our receipt showed we saved something like $465 as each dress shirt was over $155. Im not sure that the retail price was an actual selling price, but the clothes really are fine fabric and fashionable. If we make our way out there again, I'd sure like to pick up some more amazing deals. read more

Its a relaxing day for me so I didn't wearing a nice dress as always. Today nobody's say thank you and goodbye but even I said thank you but there is no answer back. The store manager isn't much help either, her nasty attitude is clearly the reason the service there stinks! Save your money shopping at a store who doesn't appreciate your hard earned money! The clothing is awful. I have never seen such frumpy designless clothing at such ridiculous prices. It must be stocked with unsold clothing they've been stocking for years. It may have a designer label but ugly is ugly no matter what's on the label. read more

3 stars because of rude staff As we were entering the store around 6.45, a very polite security guard told us that they would be closing in 15 minutes. As I knew what I wanted, it would have only taken 5 minutes to pick it up. However, as I walked into the shoes section, the female sales associate quickly rushed me out saying, "Hey miss, we're closing". I quickly checked the clock, but it was still 10 mins till the official closing time. Anyway, I felt pressured to leave, and ended up not buying the stuff I needed. I went in to buy a dress for a wedding I'm attending. I found a dress I loved and I needed a different size. I asked the sales person if they had it in the store or in the back. She replied "oh maybe, it could be on the 'go back rack.'" (Yep that's what she called it) And told me to look through the racks of about 200 items. There were two women working through that rack and when I asked for help one girl said "it could be anywhere." So I said " do you guy think the three of us could look quickly so it's faster? I know exactly what I'm looking for." and the woman rolled her eyes and said "literally it could be anywhere." So I said " thank you so much for such wonderful customer service!" I thought that this store was known for its customer service but it felt like this was a forever 21 type of store. read more

I've purchased at least 5 pairs of luxury brand sunglasses from this store. The glasses each ranged from around $60 to $150. After every one of these purchases I received a complimentary sunglasses case. A couple times the cases of the brand I purchased were out of stock so they just gave me a case from a different brand. Recently I purchased a pair of Ray Bans which came out to $89. The woman behind the register told me they were out of Ray Ban cases. I told her that was fine and that a different brand would do. She then told me that they no longer do that and that if I wanted a case I'd have to purchase I Sacs branded one. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the change she just said, "sorry, that's just how it is" It might seem high maintenance to you but if I'm spending almost $90 on sunglasses, I expect to get something to put them in rather than risking them getting searched or broken of my drive home. This is the last pair of sunglasses I will be purchasing from here. read more

This is the worst company to deal with. They do not stand by their word. They deducted shipping charges for an incorrect item they sent me. It has been 2 months and still trying to get my money back for the shipping charges for an error on their part. Keep getting the run around and tons of excuses. So I just visited the store and was looking at their rolexs they have for sale and was shocked. I'm a Rolex collector and when I looked at then they are all what is in the watch world and in rolex world call fake. It may be a Rolex movement and case but the diamonds and the dial are all not authentic. Which means there is no value to them at all. I asked about the warranty and they said it comes with the Rolex warranty, so I asked how long it was and they said one year. Rolex has a 5 year warranty on there new watches. They don't have any warranty or even sell used watches so they can't have a warranty. I am shocked that they can get away with selling such fake watches I really am. DO NOT BUY THEM YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! read more

If you have the patience to sort through last season's rejects, you'll leave this place with some really excellent finds. Where else can you find pucci shoes for more than half off or Marc Jacobs shirts that originally retailed for over $150 for around $30? The sale prices are incredible, but the sales items aren't always worth purchasing. It can be really hit or miss, but it's worth it just to check out what they have as far as shoes and bags. read more

The store has great products, no doubt, but after my last visit, I'll just go to the stores in the city. The sale tags do not carry the correct information: the tag says buy one get one free, but apparently it is buy1 cashmere sweater get 2 free. When my friend asked two chatting employees to clarify the conflicting tag info, they gave her a long stare and a five minute pause, as if they have never encountered shoppers asking questions before. After the pause one of them opened her mouth and mumbled something that still did not answer my friend's question. The other store employee was standing there folding sweaters, staring at me not even blinking which was really strange and would not help either. After I got involved finally they started talking. A male employee approaches us to see if he could be of service, completely ignores my friend who is Asian and who stands closer to him and makes eye contact with him. He preferred to address me when I wasn't even aware he was around, I was standing with my back to him. Is he scared of asian people, I asked my friend if she was all right, she said it was ok, she was used to such treatment. This whole mistreating people because they are outside your race or because they are not wearing gowns or furs to go shopping at your store has to stop. Basically the store sucks even though I love the products. I blame the management for not being able to hire courteous and respectful employees. We will go there again, not to buy anything, just to see if we encounter more attitudes and such kind of treatment from them and if we do, I will take my time to write a few complaints. It's 21st century, this supremacist mentality has to stop here. I was embarrassed. These kind of people make me look bad. My friend was mistreated by 3 white people within 5 minutes. I had the distinct displeasure of dealing with the sales associates at this store branch in Riverhead at the Tanger Outlet Mall. The experience left such a negative impression on me due to the first check-out associate I dealt with forgetting to take off the coupon I had handed her at the beginning of the transaction. And then when I realized her error within 5 minutes, I went back in to this store and she was in the process of clocking out. She informed me I would have to wait the rather substantial line again, and finished clocking out. When asked if they had a separate customer service desk I was informed by another associate "No." and she also proceeded to tell me I would have to wait the line. I never was handed back my coupon during this entire dialogue. I left the store AGAIN. I collected myself and came back in with all of my purchases to wait the line (having to leave my now screaming two year old outside with my husband and mother in law in order to do so as he had rightly lost patience with the whole process.) When I got to the next cashier my husband had come in as well to join me. This rude woman (a THIRD associate, equally rude.) proceeded to repeat her explanations slowly and more loudly every time she would say something to my husband who is clearly not a native speaker yet understands English PERFECTLY well. I proceeded to tell her to stop doing this and she raised her voice at me. I then had gotten to the point of total disgust in this store due to the people that have been hired to represent this brand there, that we decided to get a refund for nearly our entire purchase. (with only the exception of one of our members' purchases who was not there to witness the display of rudeness.) This firm lost a large sale that day and most likely all of my future business as a result of these three women. Perhaps it would be in this company's best interest to retrain the staff in this branch in customer service and appreciation. Clearly it is lacking or has been COMPLETELY overlooked so far. read more
