Overall good threading experience here. I just went here for the first time (& my first time in a long time to get my eyebrows done because of covid) so I was a little nervous. They only have one person at a time inside, some people were waiting inside (socially distanced) but I chose to wait for my turn outside. The lady sanitized the chair between customers and sanitized her hands. My eyebrows came out great, she was fast but detailed which I appreciated. Came here a day before my vacation and needed eyebrow thread and leg wax. Called store and asked if they took walk ins, they do and I was so relieved! Went to place and was immediately taken to Amy's station, she did sooo good with my eyebrow threading. I havent gotten it done in 6 months so I was well over due but she took time and care with getting a perfect shape. I really recommend her as a threading stylist. The place was clean and the vibes were welcoming and friendly. After my eyebrow thread, another lady took me to get my legs waxed. I asked her suggestion of full leg or half leg because my hair is thin on my thighs and she recommend bottom half leg which I did. Great idea!!! My legs were so soft and so nice after. I thunk her name was Tupi? I'm not too sure but she was super sweet as well. Would totally recommend her and Amy! 10/10, would come again. And its so close and the hours are so good too. read more

My previous eyebrow threader closed her shop a couple of months ago and I'd been trying to find someone since. I went to another place that threaded my eyebrows too thin, even after I specified what I wanted, so I figured I'd give Venus Threading a try. When I walked in, my eyebrows were pretty unruly since I'd been letting them grow back after the thin threading experience. I told Amy what I wanted and she did exactly that. She even explained why she didn't want to thread certain areas due to how the hair was still growing back and asked if I was okay with her suggestion or if I wanted the hair removed, which I really appreciated. I just recently moved to the area and hadn't had my brows threaded in MONTHS. I read the reviews about this place and decided to check them out because they had specials for new clients. First, $9.99 for lip and brow is a steal. Second, Rachu was a doll. She did my brows and my moms brows as well. I usually get some redness after threading but neither my mom nor I experienced any redness on our skin of any kind. So that's a HUGE plus. Will definitely go back. I was a frequent customer of this place until today. One of the ladies who did my eyebrows took hair from the middle of my eyebrow and now there is distinct line/gap in my eyebrow. When my mom and I brought it up with her, she started arguing with us and denying her mistake. She kept telling me that she didn't do it, but it was so clear that she messed up. She was extremely rude and not apologetic and did not return the $11 I spent on a horrible service. Tupi is an amazing threader. She is also the owner of aayna threading in Covina. When my the original eyebrow lady that I would always go to had gone on maternity leave, I was freaking out and started searching for brow salons that offered quality work. However, a friend had told me that she has a lady that was really good, which was Tupi. She told me that Tupi was either in Duarte and Covina.
