Was greeted by Julie who did my pedicure and it was exceptionally well done. She was also helping other new customers but I never felt ignored or neglected. My toes look amazing! Thank you Julie! I will be back!!!

Such a lovely salon. Clean, comfortable, and so welcoming. I had cat-eye nails done while visiting from Kentucky for a wedding in Ramona, and they turned out beautifully. The complimentary drinks were a sweet touch. The ladies were especially kind and attentive to my friend with a disability, which meant so much to us. I'd absolutely recommend.

I went my first time to get my lashes done. They were great I just went for the second time and some were falling out so I went to get my inner and outer corner fixed and part of my bottom lashes were stuck, which is normal, and Mary CUT MY BOTTOM LASHES OFF. I didn't know cause I was half asleep. WHO DOES THAT?! A third of my lash line is gone now

Loved my nails and my pedicure! Finding a nail place in Ramona you like is hard, but I am so happy I've found my go to place!

Loved my nails and service! It's hard to find a nail place in Ramona and I loved that I have found a my go to place by home.

I go here on the regular and love Julie. She always does a good job and is very friendly. Just be sure to make an appointment and let them know if you're in a hurry...sometimes they're not ready for you and they wont get you in for some time after you arrive. Overall it's a clean and festive place with friendly service and you can't beat the prices.

This was my first time here and it was not a great experience. When first arriving I was not greeted by anyone and then someone finally yelled and asked what I was here for. I was then sat in a pedicure chair for 31 minutes before anyone acknowledged me or came to do my service. Once the service began, I asked for my toenails to be filed rather than clipped because they were close to the length I wanted. I advised the shape I wanted as well and got the complete opposite. My nails were clipped very short and are very uneven. When it came time to picking the service I wanted another woman came over trying to push an upsell on a higher priced service for me . After saying no multiple times, she said she would do it for only two dollars more. After the service was over, I went to pay and was advised the total was $55 dollars. After my card was ran and I was given the receipt. They said they made a mistake and the service was actually $60 and if I had cash to pay the remainder. This was an overall horrible experience. I left very unhappy and upset with the service I received. I do not recommend this place at all. They are very pushy and do not seem to take pride in their work.

Loved how my nails came out! I got the volcano spa mani and pedi. They listen to what you want and do it exactly. I do appreciate their attention to detail. Pricing is affordable and I got a free drink. Left a good tip because the lady was nice to my kids. My little girl likes her nails as well! She usually does not sit still well but I like the nail technicians' patience. Would definitely come back!

I don't understand why I come back I think it's just convince? 2 stars bc there's a couple ladies here that are really nice but the rest haggle for you to spend so much money and when you say no they judge so hard. I am hardly ever satisfied with the nails I'm given and this time I am seriously over it. There is lint inside my polish the design I asked for is nothing like the nails I got. And on top of that they have upped their prices so much. Hey Diane instead of remodeling pay for your ladies to get 1. A class on customer service edict 2. A class on quality control. I wasn't even offered cuticle oil. The lady that did my pedicure had the audacity to stand there looking at me waiting for a tip after charging me nearly $100 for a basic pedicure and an ugly fill. Just another business in this town money hungry, lacking actual care of the product they put out.

My French tip nails! Isn't it gorgeous?!

Every trip to San Diego, Venus nails salon never disappoints! Loving my nails! You won't regret getting your nails done here!

Far from what I asked , and horribly done.

vanessa c.

I've been here a handful of times and every time I leave I ask myself why I came back. Typically I visit this nail salon when i don't want to drive down the hill. This last time was the final straw for me. I went in with an hour to spare before another appointment and asked if they could get done with a fill in that time span and asked multiple times to make sure they could finish and they reassured me they could. I sat and waited for about 15 mins and when it finally came down to do my nails they were rushed, I had acrylic hanging off the sides. Probably the worst set I've ever had done. Most of the time when I go, they push to upsell their services. It's annoying.

Went there this morning for a fill and I'm so happy! Julie did a really good job at keeping the good coffin shape I like while still keeping them the short length I requested. Haven't been this happy with my nails in a while. I was also under a time crunch and let her know when I arrived and she was very time efficient. Will definitely be coming back for my next fill! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Venus nails. The women were so kind and I was able to walk in with just calling ahead an hour. I showed them the picture of what I was looking for and they helped me pick out the perfect color. I feel the pricing is really reasonable too for the experience and their attention to detail. The salon is extremely clean and Kim and the other nail technician did a beautiful job! I am really happy and will definitely be making the drive from Julian to come back :) read more

All I can say is WOW!!! I am very picky and usually dissatisfied with my nails when I get them done but not here!!! I was recently visiting my friend and her mom and we decided to get our nails done together. Her mom suggested we go to this salon. She is definitely a regular, so I trusted her to take us somewhere great. When we entered we were instantly greeted and told they were able to help all three of us. Their spa chairs and bowls are very beautiful!! I was in love with the mosaic foot bowls! We each just got a standard pedicure. I was so happy with the way I was treated and the quality of my nails. It's been almost 5 days and my feet are still very soft and my nails are completely intact. If you are in Ramona, please check out Venus nail Salon. Ann, Emily and Julie were great and everyone else in there does quality work! Thank you ladies!! read more

This place. Gonna have to go in for a third time to fix the fix they gave me yesterday for the previous weekend appointment. It was a pedicure, left toes undone, not filed or shaped. They don t listen to what their customers want, I wanted acrylic taken off, instead they started applying more. The spilled powder on another nail, I asked if they would please remove it. They told me would just come off in the shower... ?? I had to get out the acetone when I got home. I gave them the color I wanted, I got home and realized they picked a completely diff color blue. Wow. Chaotic, unfortunately I don't live closeby for all these returns to this Salon. If you go, pay attention and don t let them ignore you! :D read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I received a gel pedicure here recently (08/04/23) and my sister a gel manicure. We paid a total of about $120, NOT including the $20 cash tip we gave to our providers. My sister's manicure began lifting and cracking FIVE days after she received her service. The gel on my pinky toe came off COMPLETELY after one week of getting my service. I've gotten numerous gel pedicures in the past and I usually go about four weeks with no issues aside from the usual regrowth, etc. My sister ended up going into a different salon when hers began lifting to fix it, and the person working there deemed the manicure "a complete mess." !!!! I'm not sure what is going on here as I've gotten a decent gel pedicure here in the past that lasted, but Venus Nails definitely has some techs working that DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! It really sucks that we paid a decent amount of $ for something that didn't even last. This is my objective experience and they need to do better. read more

I have never felt so pushed and pressured at a nail salon, I had to reiterate five times that I only wanted polish not gel; and the techs dissatisfaction was clear. Then when we chose our pedicure they again pressured us to upgrade (and it wasn't like we were getting the cheapest option). The atmosphere was so hostile and uncomfortable, if you offer a service you shouldn't be offended or judgmental when a paying customer chooses that service...there are plenty of other salons in town that I'll gladly visit but I'd rather drive to poway than return here. read more

Long lasting nails, sanitary, and affordable, especially with inflation hitting these days the other salons are jacking up the prices. The nails came out exactly how I wanted it too, even though it was a tough one! The nail salon looks brand new, everything was bright and beautiful, the techs are nice and hilarious. I love that they offer free drinks, I got a mimosa. They made my kiddo laugh more than her own dad and gave her a fruit punch bag. She likes her nails too. I will be coming back again for sure. read more

My wife and I just went back to the nail salon. The economy/inflation has been hard for us yet this salon is so packed! Despite the hour wait, they took their time with us and I appreciated that. I try to save some money each week to take my wife here since it is now her favorite salon and it is affordable for us. Her nails lasted her from our last visit until now which is around a month, helping us save. Our favorite nail technician is Diane. She does such a wonderful job on the acrylics. The nails turned out beautiful and we had so much fun relaxing while getting pampered. We enjoyed the Peach Bellini that they gave for free! Will be bringing our friends next time! read more

Let me tell you. This place is a God send. I lived in San Diego for over a year and could NOT find a nail salon to be one I kept returning to. I LOVE THIS PLACE. My friend and I came in, her a pedicure and me to fix my acrylics I got from another salon. She loved her pedicure and how attentive they are. She said the lady removed her ingrown toe nails and it didn't hurt at all! That was a first for her. And my acrylics, Lisa helped me and she took off my horribly done ones (got them in SD) and did such a beautiful new set! I'm literally in love. Found my few home Salon read more

First and last visit today. Very nice lady but... man... she painted outside the lines, but yet managed to not paint my nail entirely... not relaxing. Asked if I wanted the massage that was included in the pricing? Kept trying to upsale me on every little thing. Last time I went to Venus nails was unpleasant. I get a powder manicure & a regular pedicure. I was using the powder because it normally minimally invasive however the Karlsruhe time I went, Lisa did my nails and filed my already thin nails down so bad it's now been 5 months & my painful nails are beginning to heal. Normally I get my nails doe every 5 to 6 weeks but I don't plan on doing it for a long while. Emily was the person who regularly did my nails but she was off the last two times I went in. My nails normally grow long quickly & look real nice. read more

Ok ... I give two starts for my nail tech she was amazing so sweet she sat second seat so right beside the first seat when you walk in ! So amazing and patient with me . My issue is with my daughters nails ... I got them GEL Mani and Gel Pedi now I know they are young BUT I got my little ones (one 4&9) mani pedi Because they are both flower girls in my brother wedding Tomorrow... so I paid $60+ tip PER girl.... So $120+ tip just for them... stupid price but whatever to see 20 min after I get home 3 of the entire nails have peeled off .... What the heck?? I paid for gel so they would last! And told them they are in a wedding ... I wouldn't care or honestly have got gel if it wasn't my brothers wedding day. So I called they told me to come back and I did they fixed them and I was so thankful but this morning I see her toes (I only saw it this morning because when we got home it was bedtime for her ) so I see they didn't clip or clean her toenails .... Keep in mind while im at the salon another girl her ago got her nails done for $17 ... I never said a word because I knew I asked for mani pedi... so cleaning the nails clipping all that ... no... they sat her at the chair with water ... no cleaning or clipping ... and the white French tip is like painted on the middle part of her toenail to look like it clipped or something she pictures ... I can put my finger nail under her toenail so you can see she didn't paint the tip ... what the hell .... I paid so much money for this crap!!!! And they are chipping again Gel done Properly won't chip like that! They never filed her nails obviously or this wouldn't be happening .... So why did I pay $60+ for each girl when they didn't do the mani pedi cleaning I asked for?! I'm super frustrated I love here in Ramona I want to like this spot but I'm super disappointed I spent over $250 here yesterday and I'm just mad how this happened and I paid SO much for this ..... read more

We were on vacation using our timeshare and ran into town for 2 pedicures; one for myself and one for my husband. I was disappointed the pedicure was a quick wash and trim. They did not clean our nails or use any scrub as listed in the package description. They upcharged me $14 for gel and charged my husband $45! They kept adding things on for example my manicure they added a $4 buff since I didn't want color polish which Comes with my manicure. Will never go back or refer anyone there. read more

Last time I came to Venus Nails, I had to wait 30 minutes before being helped (with an appointment). Came in for a manicure. She started re surfacing before even pushing or cutting my cuticles. Had to remind her to cut my cuticles first which she then started without even pushing them back. She didn't cut enough of my cuticles, my nails weren't filed evenly and she missed a few cuticles all together. Umm maybe they just specialize in women's. Not sure but I won't be coming back. I was a regular customer till this past weekend. I took my 4 year old for the first time for a pedi and they charged me 22 dollars! Thats insane. They charged 4 extra dollars for 2 flowers (I initially didn't approve of) they asked her if she wanted them and I said she didn't need them. The lady doing the pedi really pushed it so I said ok just one since my 4 year old was begging. Then they charge me 2 dollars per flower on a 4 year old! Will not be going back again. read more

Today I got a dip manicure at 9am, I got home a few hours later at 11 and already noticed the paint on one nail had chipped, my nail was still intact. I drove back to the salon and they fixed it by filing my nail down. Now it's 7pm and the same nail has chipped paint on both sides. Definitely not going to be getting dip polish from them a. Not worth spending 35$ plus tip to have your polish chip the same day. Very upset, they are already closed and tomorrow is a holiday. Stuck with my chipped nail. Update as of July 5th 8am not even a full two days later another nail's paint has chipped. I have done dip polish previously at a different nail salon and it lasts weeks, no chipping and usually you have to get it redone for growth not for paint chipping. read more

Walked in Friday afternoon for pedicure, no appointment. I got a chair right away but waited about 15 minutes for service. When the tech finally sat down, she handed me the "menus" of services available. They only included their new "luxury " services, all over $45. I was just in for a regular pedicure, nothing fancy. I asked the tech if these were my only options and she said yes. The person in the chair next to me noticed the confusion on my face and chimed in to explain that those were their new services. Only then did the nail tech hand me the other menu with the regular prices. I felt like she was trying to take advantage of me and if I could do it all over again. I would've just left. I won't be coming back. read more

I went in last night (4/26/2023) to get my nails done for prom. For starters I specifically asked for long coffin acrylics, they didn't not do the style I asked for, when they cut my acrylic they never asked how long or short I wanted them to be, instead of making them coffin I got square. All my my nails are not the same length and they are all crooked asf. Although the workers were nice they still did not meet my needs. I went in today (4/26/2023) to see if they can redo them because of how bad they were and all it did was start a argument with the person who did them and I. WhenI tried to talk she would cut me off say that she will pull the camera footage, and prove that she is right. The only person I would recommend there is the owner Diane. So I came here after a 13 day terrible nail job from the place by 99 cent store. She cleaned them up made they the size and shape that I wanted. Did a beautiful gel and added a stone for me. Thank you. Did find this nail shop had a extremely judgmental/rude customer base on this one visit. Was just really confused. One women complained 2 Times and then made some excuse about not wanting a hand massage during her time. I heard "It's just their culture" like how about you come in keep your comments to yourself and if you wanna be that way go somewhere else. Lots of particular customers out in Ramona I noticed compared to Mira Mesa. Will be back though, Mabey with ear plugs so people don't piss me off because way to many rude people. read more

So, I just got a mani-pedi done at this nail salon for the holiday season and the service has been phenomenal. I would 10/10 recommend this place and would be back for more since my birthday is coming up in less than a week. After a long day of work, all i wanted to do was to have a relaxing day in the spa and getting my nails done to go out with my girlfriends. And the ladies at the Venus Nails Salon delivered that and more. The wait had not been that long for me, I believed I only had to wait for 15-30 minutes even when it seemed like they were very busy. But the wait was to be expected since it's obvious that these ladies seem to always spend a huge efforts to make sure that they do a good job. They value my inputs and opinions and would always check in every so often to make sure that I'm satisfied with the job and if there's anything else that I would like to add or change about the task. Needless to say, even though I live around 30 minutes away from this place, I don't mind driving out of my way to get this kind of service, to get this relaxing atmosphere, and to get my nails done so that I not only look great but also feel great. It's embarrassing to say but for me, just the simple act of getting my nails done make me feel more confident when going out with my friends, or when preparing for interviews, and/or when participating in family events. No matter if it's my coworkers, friends, or family members, I would always get complimented on my nails. And ladies, this is the secret to a perfect day, and it starts with looking good on the outside so that I can also feeling good on the inside. I had one of my girlfriends recommended this place to me a few months ago and since then, I have been coming back as often as I can. Now, I know that not even 5 stars can match the exemplary service and the increased in self confidence I am beginning to feel since coming here. read more

First time at this salon since I was shopping at the Stater Bros near by. The salon was full of people so i had to wait about an hour. Learnt my lesson but I will mke an appointment next time. I'm lovin the acrylic nails and they did exactly like the design picture I showed. Came out beautiful! I got their special which was the Royal Jelly spa, definitely something new and fun for me. They offered free alcoholic drinks but I opted for a coffee instead. Pretty good and tasty because I stayed up late. Extra bonus points because my son has a learning disability and they treated him with such gracious love and attention even though they were busy. He loves the juice pouches and laughed all the time he was there. Really wondeful people they are and pretty nails with a good price. I will be coming back since my son keeps asking when we will visit. Definitely going to be a mother and son weekly trip. Love them! read more

Wow, this place gets packed fast. I had some errands go run, so I tried to get there at opening time. Got some nice pics of their brand new remodel! So beautiful, and im loving the new spa chairs; they are so comfortable! 15 minutes later it was packed! I got their new offering, Golden Mystique pedicure again, totally worth it. So relaxing They do offer alcoholic drinks for free but I got a free coffee instead for the morning. The ladies were friendly and experts. Their pricing is quite affordable compared to other salons. My nails didn't chip even after 3 weeks. Good stuff they use. I also like the cleanliness/ sanitary conditions- they use one-use buffers and liners, etc. Been a regular here for years. Even though I moved, I still make the 40 minutes drive out here. My nails look exactly the way I want it to and even better. read more

1 star is too much. Took 3 hours, and came out with horrible results and cuts on 3 of my fingers. 1 cut is okay, but multiple ? I work with my hands & just wanted to relax. They charged me over 100$ for a botched, uneven and messy set and stained fingers. Why would you EVER pay over 100$ for 1 color NO DESIGN plain gel nails, especially EXTREMELY uncomfortable, uneven, and square ones. This was for a special event and Now I have uncomfortable ass cuts and awkward shapes hanging off my fingers ! I clearly stated I only wanted the cheapest options, I had to pay for this with money that took 2 days of my life at work for?! All this did was add more stress. Better off not getting them done, than here. Never, ever ever go here. The drive to another city is worth it. read more

I recently visited Venus nails and had an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who made me feel welcome. One of the highlights of my visit was the complimentary drinks they offered for both children and adults - a thoughtful touch that made my visit even more enjoyable. The salon had a wide range of beverages available, from refreshing fruit juices and mimosa's (including both red and white wine). My kids were thrilled with the selection of juices and sodas they could choose from, while I indulged in a delicious glass of the peach Bellini. It was such a nice touch to have complimentary drinks available for both kids and adults, making it a truly family-friendly environment. read more
