The comments about John are so true. What a genuine and nice man!. I called at the end of day to see if he could do an inspection. He said he was about to close down for the evening and asked how far away I was. When he heard I could be there in 10-15 mins he said to come by. He took my car in right away and in no time the inspection was completed. Nothing was wrong with my car but if (or when) my car does need to be serviced this is the place I'll come. I heard he is good with Honda cars BUT I had my front brakes done and the pads were defective one correct set with L & R sides and the other set with 2 right sides. Instead of the mechanic calling me to tell me the parts were defective and getting the correct ones he put the brake pad in backwards and slammed it in to make it fit. Guess what! That didn't work and my car pulled violently to one side. A phone call to John and he told me "can't be they are new brakes. On top of that someone backed into my car in his lot. He new about it and just shrugged his shoulders. To make matters worse when another mechanic told me what happened his answer to me was " it was the mechanic not me, what do you want me to do. He's overworked and should retire or get responsible mechanics. I sent my neighbor to him before I knew my story and he had a terrible experience with his Jeep. I'm done !! read more

Enough to drive from Huntington to his shop (20 miles) and take the train home in order to get my car serviced there, Honda or not.
