For all the lakers, it's worth the experience! Always fun to go out to eat via boat. If you're not up for the hike up the hill, they generally have a side by side and happy to collect you, or pizza can be delivered to their dock. Diner food including burgers, pizza, pies, and a jukebox! We've never been when the owner wasn't present and working for you. For years they've done an amazing firework show that we love to contribute to and want to keep alive so we will continue to be patrons, loving every minute of it! read more

Staying locally and this was the closest place to pop up. Traveled down a road that we were certain that we would be shot dead on for trespassing. Finally ended at a resort and found the restaurant. A few people gathered on the porch but we went inside to check it out. We had two super awesome kids wait on us. They were friendly and outgoing. We waited about 20 minutes for a chef salad and roast beef sandwich. Plenty of time the wife was able to order a second glass of wine. My sandwich was very good. The tater tots were slightly overcooked but still good. The chef salad was good yet a little too cheffy for my wife. It has olives and pickles on it which she didn't like so be sure to ask what all is on it if you are picky. Our server talked us into a pie togo and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice but the service and personality/character are great. The owner Jodi (hope I spelled that correct) is very nice to the customers. We came by boat and were ready to trek up the hill with two toddlers and 6 adults. He convinced us to let him drive us up to the restaurant and it took him two trips to do it. The food was good. Beaver lake has few choices for boaters and I for one am glad that Ventris is in business and available to the boating public. They also serve alcohol which is a nice addition for the drinking public. I think you will have a nice adventure traveling by boat to this destination for food, fun and adventure. Nice open dock and of course you can hang out at the dock after dinner and even go for a swim. Nice people, nice place and a touch of down home cooking. Enjoy it. read more

A bit expensive but hey! What can you expect from a restaurant you can access from your boat?! They were closed for the season and yet the manager took our order and delivered a fun meal for our last day on the lake! That's excellent service! read more

Stopped here after a day on the lake and we were very happy with our food. We ordered the chicken philly omg it was delicious lots of neat in that sandwich. I hesitate to even write a review for this place because the people were incredibly nice and the service was satisfactory. Also, we live in Dallas and we are spoiled by the quality and variety of restaurant options. However, I have to provide an honest review if I'm going to do one at all. Nothing we ordered was even remotely good. My daughter's burger was a small dry brown disk and my husband's chicken sandwich was tasteless and dry. My steak sandwich had a lot of meat on it but was soggy and flavorless. The fries were undercooked in old oil. None of us could finish our meal. read more

Wow wow wow. The food was delicious.. We had pizza and Ruben sandwiches, and a vegetarian sandwich. They have a really good selection of beer and wine. The property, which is right on the lake, is incredible. You can swim from the shore and/or dock your boat. The chef is also a famous singer and piano player. We were lucky that he felt like playing a few songs and singing for us. He's a real piano man! This was one of the best experiences that we've had in NWArkansas. It was great for everyone in our party. We all left with big smiles. The drive out, if you go by car, is scenic and worth it. We will definitely be back! read more

Nice place on the lake with a great boat dock that allows you to motor up, get out and go up to the restaurant. Evidently there's a different menu in the evening; but I got to say I'd really rather they just stick to the grill-type menu of burgers, fries, pizza, onion rings, etc rather than try to go upscale at night. My daughter, son-in-law and grandson visited us in Eureka Springs in late July. They spent a few days boating on Beaver Lake and ate twice at on-the-water venues. This restaurant was their absolute favorite, they had the Reuben and two hamburgers, all food items were cooked to perfection. And did I mention they amazing pie for dessert! In fact, it became one of their best memories of the 10 day trip. They will be back next summer & this is on their top 5 to-do list. We are living here this summer/fall and the restaurant is on our 'bucket list" now, next time we are on the southwest side of the lake. We come by boat from Rocky Branch. Always surprised at how nice an experience it is. A hidden gem that most people don't know about.

The walk up (according to my fitbit it's 10 flights of stairs) is well worth it. The breakfast is good, the pizza is good, Cheeseburgers and fries are good. Tonight, the menu is Italian ft'ing lasagna, fettucinne, and spaghetti''. No matter how full, get a home slice (or whole pie) to go. read more
